  • the foil 62 remains secured to the underside of the cap 63, but does not interfere with a temporary re-application of the cap 63 to the container body 61 (e.g. to cover the contents and/or reduce the risk of spillage once the seal between the foil 62 and the container body 61 has been broken).

  • the closure Whilst, in many cases, the closure will be secured to the container body such rotation of the closure relative to the container body is required to remove the closure therefrom, in some cases other forms of initiative may be required, eg a lifting, bending or prising movement, instead of rotation. Examples of this are also described in WO2006/003453 . In such cases, the closure may still be rotated to some degree in order to twist the foil and hence initiate a peeling force on the foil prior to the closure being removed by a lifting, bending or prising movement. In other cases, a pealing action may be initiated by a lifting, bending or prising movement without the need for any rotation of the closure. Embodiments such as those shown in the Figures may, for example, be modified so the a pealing action is initiated by lifting a portion of the closure.
  • all the above embodiments decouple the point of attachment of the foil to the container from its attachment to the cap thus allowing the cap to start turning and lifting off before meeting the resistance of the shear strength of the foil to container bond and the geometry is arranged such that the force then applied to the foil to container bond is a peeling force so the foil can be peeled away from the container.

Claims (15)

  1. Contenant pour le stockage d'une boisson gazeuse, ou d'autres contenus, comprenant un corps de contenant (1) comportant une ouverture (1A) qui définit un axe et un moyen de fermeture amovible pour fermer ladite ouverture, le moyen de fermeture comprenant une feuille métallique (2) destinée à être fixée au corps de contenant (1) de façon à fermer ladite ouverture (1A) de manière étanche aux gaz, la feuille métallique (2) étant aussi raccordée au moyen de fermeture, ou interagissant avec lui, de telle sorte qu'une rotation initiale, ou autre mouvement initial, du moyen de fermeture dans un sens d'ouverture relatif au corps de contenant (1) modifie ou déforme la feuille métallique (2) de telle sorte qu'une autre rotation, ou qu'un autre mouvement, du moyen de fermeture entraîne l'application d'une force de pelage à la fixation entre la feuille métallique (2) et le corps de contenant (1), pelant ainsi la feuille métallique d'avec le corps de contenant.
  2. Contenant selon la revendication 1, dans lequel la feuille métallique (2) est fixée au corps de contenant (1) et au moyen de fermeture, la fixation avec le moyen de fermeture étant faite à une distance radiale dudit axe différente de celle de la fixation avec le corps de contenant (1).
  3. Contenant selon la revendication 2, dans lequel la feuille métallique (2) est assujettie à un intérieur du moyen de fermeture et fixée à un rebord (1 B) du corps de contenant (1).
  4. Contenant selon la revendication 3, dans lequel la feuille métallique (2) est fixée à une partie interne du rebord (1 B) du corps de contenant.
  5. Contenant selon la revendication 4, dans lequel le dessous de la fermeture comporte une protubérance (13A) qui, lorsque la fermeture est en position fermée, confère un renforcement à la fixation entre la feuille métallique (2) et le corps de contenant (1).
  6. Contenant selon la revendication 5, dans lequel la protubérance (53B) assure un joint d'alésage qui presse la feuille métallique (52) en contact intime avec une surface interne du corps de contenant (51).
  7. Contenant selon la revendication 3, dans lequel la feuille métallique (2) comporte une partie qui s'étend au-delà du rebord (1 B) du corps de contenant (1) et est repliée en dessous du moyen de fermeture.
  8. Contenant selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel la feuille métallique comprend une feuille inférieure (12B) attachée sur sa périphérie au corps de contenant (11) et une feuille supérieure (12A) attachée sur sa périphérie à la périphérie de la feuille inférieure (12B) et comporte une surface supérieure attachée à l'intérieur du moyen de fermeture.
  9. Contenant selon la revendication 1, dans lequel la feuille métallique (22) est attachée à un rebord (21A) du corps de contenant (21) et comporte une partie qui s'étend au-delà du rebord (21A) du corps de contenant (21), ladite partie comprenant au moins une amorce de déchirure (22B) et étant attachée localement au moyen de fermeture à proximité de l'amorce de déchirure (22B).
  10. Contenant selon la revendication 1, dans lequel la feuille métallique (32) est attachée à un rebord (31A) du corps de contenant (31), comporte au moins une languette (32B) saillant de celui-ci fixée au moyen de fermeture et comporte une amorce de déchirure (32D) adjacente à ladite languette (32B),
  11. Contenant selon la revendication 10, dans lequel la feuille (32) comporte une ligne de moindre résistance (32C) radialement vers l'intérieur de son attache au rebord (31 A) du corps de contenant (31).
  12. Contenant selon la revendication 1, dans lequel la feuille métallique (42) est montée sur un substrat relativement rigide (42A), la feuille métallique (42) étant attachée à un rebord (41A) du corps de contenant (41) et le substrat (42B) s'étendant au-delà du rebord (41A) du corps de contenant (41) afin de s'engrener avec le moyen de fermeture de telle sorte qu'un mouvement axial du moyen de fermeture à sa rotation dans un sens d'ouverture soulève le substrat (42B) et ainsi la feuille métallique (42) pour la séparer du rebord (41 A) du corps de contenant (41).
  13. Contenant selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel la feuille métallique (2) est assujettie de façon mécanique ou adhésive au moyen de fermeture.
  14. Contenant selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel le moyen de fermeture comprend une capsule (3) pouvant être assujettie au corps de contenant (1) par le biais d'un collier (4).
  15. Contenant selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel la feuille (2) est fixée au moyen de fermeture de façon à être retirée avec celui-ci quand le moyen de fermeture est retiré du corps de contenant (1).
