Zu den einzelnen Verpackungseinheiten sind diese identifizierenden Daten gespeichert und werden üblicherweise auf einem anderen Weg als dem Transportweg der Verpackungseinheiten dem Abnehmer bereitgestellt. Zwischen der Vorratsrolle 8 und der Folienfördereinrichtung 6 befindet sich eine mit Bezugszeichen 10 gekennzeichnete Markierungseinrichtung mit einem Gestell 11, an dem ein Hubrahmen 12 in vertikaler Richtung verfahrbar angeordnet ist. Darüber hinaus umfassen die Daten Informationen zum Aussehen des Gutstapels, wie beispielsweise Informationen über die Kontur desselben und/oder die aufgebrachte Markierung.
