Abstract

Description

The invention relates to a display with a) a jacket which comprises two side walls and a rear wall, and b) with at least one shelf or tray and / or display bottom.

Displays are used to offer retail products using the attractive merchandise display to promote sales. Displays are mostly made of cardboard or corrugated board sales display, in which open or semi-open the goods are presented to the customer. They also attract the attention of the customer, as they stand out in the form of often large, separate shelving systems with a mostly creative, even colorful design of the standard shelves with unity form. Thus, they fulfill two functions from a marketing point of view: to present the goods in a clearly visible and as completely as possible recognizable way to the customer and to give the customer the possibility of being able to grab the goods easily.

Displays, also referred to as sales displays, find multiple application for the presentation of goods. The displays are preferably placed in the sales room and serve, for example as a special sales areas for the offer of promotional items or as additional temporary shelf space. The displays for displaying merchandise are therefore also referred to as a point-of-sale (POS) display. The display often has to be adapted during production to the type and size of the presented product, so that a display is then only suitable for the presentation of a product or products of the same size.

Shelf-type display systems are known in various designs. So is in the DE 296 22 521 U1 a display shelf with side walls and shelves, which consists in particular of foldable materials such as corrugated cardboard, described, wherein in the side walls slots for receiving provided on the shelves, downwardly facing tucked tabs are formed. Such displays were also previously known. The DE 296 22 521 U1 also shows a way to prevent unwanted tilting of the shelves by adding to the shelves additionally provided upwardly facing support tabs which engage in corresponding recesses in the side walls.

A similar display-like shelving system is in the DE 198 60 305 C2 described. This has at least one Einsteckboden with tabs designed as male elements, which are to be inserted into corresponding openings of the shelf support. This display-like shelving system is easy to set up. Due to the two juxtaposed insertion slots in the display jacket with different angles, a plug-in floor can be placed horizontally or diagonally in the display shell. A disadvantage of this system is that only one horizontal or one oblique plug-in shelf can be placed in one position as the bottom blocks the second plug-in position.

Due to the different goods that are presented by means of displays, displays in various sizes are required. According to the desired display sizes therefore different displays and display shells must be produced. The display can therefore only be produced after ordering and specifying the required structure. In addition, an adaptation of the blanks and the manufacturing process is necessary in each case.

The object of the present invention is to provide a shelf-like display which can be equipped with exactly one display blank for different base areas, e.g. suitable for several pallet sizes. In particular, a cost-effective production and a reduced production and storage and freight costs for different display sizes to be realized.

To erect a jacket module from a foldable blank, the outer elements of the blank are folded over the inner elements of the blank. By folding the blank results in a sheath module, which has a first rectangular sheath module portion with an edge length a of the short side and a second sheath module portion with a short side of the edge length b. The connection of two jacket modules to a display jacket preferably takes place via connecting elements. In one embodiment, such a connecting element is a plug-in connection, which are preferably folded out of the existing material of the jacket rear walls.

The two jacket modules can be connected differently. For example, the narrower sheath module portion of the first sheath module with the narrower sheath module portion connected to the second jacket module. Alternatively, the wider sheath module portion of the first sheath module is connected to the wider sheath module portion of the second sheath module. In a further variant, the broader sheath module section of the first sheath module is connected to the narrower sheath module section of the second sheath module.

In one embodiment, first tabs are hinged to the short sides of the interior panels of the blank at one short side and second tabs at the opposite short sides. Optionally, the tabs on the one short side of the attachment of the superimposed elements of the blank serve each other, so that a stable, visually valuable appearing display coat is obtained. Alternatively, the tabs serve to connect the jacket to a display bottom or pallet. Commercially available Euro pallets have slots into which these tabs can be inserted.

In a preferred embodiment, the short side edge length b of a narrower blanking element is 300 mm, the short side edge length a of a wider blanking element is 400 mm. The edge length of the long side of a blanking element is e.g. between 600 and 2000 mm, preferably 900 to 1200 mm.

A jacket, which builds up from two blanks of this size, is preferably used as a jacket for a arranged on a ¼-, ⅓- or ½-Euro range display.

An inventive display is preferably constructed of a blank of corrugated cardboard. In further embodiments, however, further components for designing the display from other materials are included. Such are, for example, additional decorative pieces of plastic or other suitable materials.

Insertion slots are preferably integrated in at least one jacket module section of the first and / or the second jacket module. In this, the plug-in tabs, which are part of the shelves in embodiments, can be inserted for attachment.

Preferably, the plug-in slots of a jacket module are not visible to the display outside, which is effected in that in the folded state of the blank, the elements are covered with insertion slots on the display outside by adjacent elements without insertion slots. It is thus obtained on the outside of a continuous display area, which can be printed or dressed as desired.

In the context of the invention, the shelves are trays or shelves that are optionally equipped with further separating elements to form storage compartments. Shelves are horizontally usable surfaces in the sense of classic shelves. Trays, on the other hand, are tray-like shelves. They often have an edge that limits the shelf space and thus secures the goods from falling. Trays are not only useful horizontally in display coats, but it can also be provided a fastening in a selected angle of inclination, so that, for example, brochures can be presented attractive.

In order to carry out a further subdivision of the presentation area for even clearer sorting of the goods, separating elements for forming storage compartments and for stabilizing the floors are integrated in a further embodiment on the at least one storage shelf or tray.

In one embodiment, a display according to the invention has a display floor on which the display stands on the floor. In another embodiment, legs are attached under this floor. In one embodiment, the completion of the display towards the floor and thus the display floor is formed by using a pallet. There are pallets available on the market with insertion slots for receiving displays, so that expediently on the jacket modules tabs for connecting the display jacket to the display bottom are available. In FIG. 1 an embodiment of a display 1 according to the invention is shown. The display 1 has two jacket side walls 3, 4 and a jacket rear wall 5, which form the jacket 2.
