Description

Field of the invention

The present invention relates to a bristle holder and a brush as a hairbrush.

Background of the invention

Conventional brushes consist of a handle part, which usually merges in one piece into a shaft part or other bristle holding part and in which the bristles are anchored. In such brushes arise usually little difficulty bristle holder and handle to connect with each other.

The life of the brush is typically determined by its bristles and condition. So if the bristles are no longer in the desired state, so it is necessary to replace the brush as a whole.

US 2005051187A discloses a brush with exchangeable bristle set. The bristle set is held by a frame in the brush. This may ensure a stable fit of the bristle set, however, when exchanging the handling with three parts is required.

The British script GB 330,573 discloses an elaborate brush with exchangeable bristle set. The bristle set is held at the edges. Since brushing, especially when brushing long hair, has a significant impact, this mount may not be strong enough to hold the bristle set reliably.

The German patent application DE 26 51 730 discloses a hot air device with replaceable brush insert. The insert is designed as a dome of elastic material, for example rubber. The calotte can be connected to the hot air part via rubber strips. This solution does not appear in the eyes of some consumers, the two parts as stable connected to a unit. Possible manufacturing defects or burrs in the exchangeable rubber part, usually a reasonably priced "disposable" part, remain visible.

The German patent DE 444377 discloses a brush with replaceable bristle plate.

From the JP 2007 296221 a toothbrush is already known comprising a bristle holder for a toothbrush, the bristle holder having a frame, a bristle anchor and a back part, the back part having a first end portion adjacent the handle portion of a connectable brush and a second end portion adjacent the brush end wherein the first end portion carries at least a first connecting element and the second end portion carries at least one positioning element and at least one retaining element, and wherein the at least one positioning element fixes the position of the bristle holder relative to the brush planar in the plane of the back part in its position.

Especially such brushes with an added benefit, for example in the form of hot air or an ion source, are usually expensive. Consequently, it is desirable to be able to replace the bristle part, but to continue to use the remaining brush. Even after replacement, the bristles should be kept unchanged fixed in the brush. Consequently, any differences in parts due to manufacturing tolerances should not play a significant role.

The present invention seeks to obviate the disadvantages of the prior art described. For this purpose, a bristle holder and a brush are offered, which stably connect to each other and yet can be easily replaced. Connected, both parts should form an aesthetically appealing whole.

Summary of the invention

The present invention relates to a hairbrush according to claim 1 with a brush and a bristle holder. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for inserting a bristle holder into a brush of a hairbrush according to claim 12.

Further description of the invention

A bristle holder according to the invention thus comprises, in particular, a bristle anchorage, a back part and a frame. For example, the back part may be a substantially flat plate. Towards the bristles, a peripheral frame may protrude on this back part. In this framework, a bristle anchorage can be clamped. A suitable bristle anchoring consists for example of a bristle carrier mat. The bristle anchor carries bristles. In a bristle carrier mat, individual bristles may be embedded in holes, for example, and the posts on the back of the support mat may be fixed by suitable thickening or otherwise.

The back part of the bristle holder has two end regions. When the bristle holder is connected to the brush, the first end portion is adjacent to the handle portion of the brush and the second end portion is adjacent to the brush end. The end regions may comprise a substantial part of the back part and in individual cases even extend to the middle of the back part. Preferably, however, the end regions are limited to smaller regions of the back part, for example the outer third in each case. According to the invention, the first end region should carry at least one first connecting element. Suitable connecting elements are all suitable elements, in particular mechanical elements which offer a connection which can be detached and restored in several ways. For example, mechanical elements are suitable which can engage with a male or female connecting element in a corresponding female or male connecting element. Suitable, for example, hooks that engage around an undercut.

According to the invention, the second end region has at least one positioning element and at least one retaining element. A positioning element is to be understood as an element which restricts the position of the bristle holder relative to the brush in at least one dimension. In particular, the Bostenhalter should be planar, fixed in the plane of the back part in its position. Also suitable here are all suitable mechanical elements, in particular those in which a male element or female element is provided for engagement in a corresponding female or male element. The second end region also carries at least one retaining element. The holding elements may be selected from a variety of elements, in particular mechanical elements. Unlike the positioning elements, the position of the bristle holder relative to the brush is only limitedly determined by the holding element alone. In the embodiment of the invention, which is described in more detail in claim 2, the back part has four areas. These four areas divide the back into four longitudinal sections of equal length. The first region is adjacent to the handle part, the second region adjoins thereto, the third region adjoins the second region and a fourth region adjoins the third region and is adjacent to the brush end. Of these areas, the first area is to carry at least two first connecting elements. The third region should carry at least one positioning element and the fourth region should carry at least one retaining element. The regions may be free of further elements, in particular the second region may be completely free of connection-holding or positioning elements. It has been found that this arrangement allows a particularly easy replacement of the bristle holder, but at the same time ensures a firm connection between bristle holder and brush.

In the expedient arrangement according to claim 3, the first area carries two connecting elements. The third area has two positioning elements and the fourth area has a retaining element. Again, this arrangement is particularly favorable for the stable guidance of the bristle holder in the brush and its easy removal. Furthermore, this arrangement is also particularly favorable for the method described in claim 12 for inserting a bristle holder in a brush.

Similar advantages can be achieved in a favorable manner according to the embodiment of the bristle holder described in claim 4. The bristle holder has, at least with respect to its back part, a longitudinal axis to which it or at least the back part is symmetrical. The first connecting element or the two or more first connecting elements may be positioned symmetrically to this longitudinal axis, as well as the holding element. If only a first connection element and a holding element are used, they are centered on the longitudinal axis. Duplicate elements, typically about the positioning, are arranged symmetrically to the left and right of the longitudinal axis.

According to the embodiment described in claim 5, the one or more first connecting elements are designed as hooks. In particular, solid, non-resilient hooks are suitable.

As described in claim 6, arc or even arc-shaped hooks are particularly favorable. The shape of the hooks can anticipate the typical direction of movement of the bristle holder relative to the brush during insertion.

The brush itself is also an important part of the invention. In particular, a brush with a bristle holder of the type described so far according to the invention. The brush should be designed for the bristle holder. Advantageously, the brush has a grip part and a connection surface for a bristle holder connected to the grip part. The connecting surface need not be flat, but may also have projections and depressions and a number of connection, positioning and holding elements or recordings for it. The connecting surface may in particular be bulged at its edges or have there a provident frame.

According to the embodiment of claim 7, the connecting surface has at least one second connecting element, which is designed to receive at least one first connecting element. Thus, it is particularly contemplated that the one second connecting element is designed so that it is suitable for receiving two first connecting elements.

The connection surface according to this embodiment further comprises at least one recess for receiving the positioning element or elements. The number of Recesses should generally correspond to the number of positioning elements, as well as the shape of the recesses should be designed so that the positioning elements are substantially positively received or at least performed. Furthermore, the connecting surface may have a receiving element for the holding element.

According to the embodiment described in claim 8, the second connecting element is designed as a recess with a projection. Such a projection may be an undercut and the two first connecting elements may engage behind this projection or undercut, for example when they are designed as hooks.

In a favorable embodiment, the second connecting element has a central guide for first connecting elements. Consider, for example, a projecting bridge. A first connecting element can then be guided on one side of the web and another connecting element on the other side of the web. As a result, during bonding with the brush, the bristle holder is well guided to its end position.

The brush may further include an eject button, which acts on the retaining element or the receiving element for the retaining element. Such grounding may be of interest if the brush comprises an ion source.

Also advantageous is a brush in which the connecting surface has a frame and is typically surrounded by this, which surrounds the frame of the bristle holder. The bristle holder is often not as elaborately processed as a replacement part as the handle of the brush itself. It may therefore be, for example, that at the edge of the bristle holder at its back or in particular on its frame irregularities occur. This can be, for example, in plastic parts burrs. Such irregularities can be completely obscured by the fact that an outside circumferential frame surrounds the bristle part laterally.

According to the invention, a method for inserting a bristle holder into a brush is also disclosed. In such a method, the first end region of the bristle holder should first be supported on a region of the connection surface adjacent to the grip part. By means of this first support, the bristle holder can be guided particularly easily and precisely. Then, an at least partial connection between the at least one first connecting element and the at least one second connecting element is initially provided. Such an at least partial connection can for example be made between hooks, which are covered by the first connecting element and a central guide, which are offered by the second connecting element. In a further step of the method, the at least one positioning element is then positioned in the at least one recess for its reception. Later still can be made a connection between the holding element and its recording. It has been found that this method allows a very light, yet precise connection between bristle holder and brush.

Claims (12)

1.
