  • One of the principal advantages of the invention lies in the fact that by conveying the intake air/gas flow on the same side as the head, it is possible to take advantage of the space inside the head which is arranged between the head and the impeller, thus reducing as far as possible the overall dimensions required outside the impeller in the zone conventionally dedicated to the intake of the air or of the gas (located in proximity to the axis of the impeller, on the opposite side of the combustion head from the impeller itself).
  • the arrangement according to the invention is obtained by means of respective stator straightener devices located at the intake side and at the delivery side of the fan, and which in fact impart to the flows a relative intersection, as demonstrated above.
  • Another advantage lies in the fact that in the arrangement according to the invention it is possible to obtain the measurement of the flow rate by arranging a pressure sensor in the intake chamber.
  • Yet another advantage is that of being able to have in the fan unit according to the invention an air/gas mixing chamber incorporated in the fan itself.
  • Another advantage is linked to the fact of being able to ensure an improved degree of quietness for the arrangement produced according to the invention.
  • Another advantage is linked to the greater compactness obtainable in the arrangement according to the invention, compared with known machines having similar performance characteristics.
  • Yet another advantage lies in the lower cost at which the invention can be produced owing to the fact that the arrangement incorporates within it more functions for each component.

Claims (12)

  1. Agencement comprenant une unité de ventilateur et un brûleur de gaz (3) avec prémélange du type comprenant une tête de combustion (2) et des premiers moyens de transport (13) pour le transport d'un mélange air-gaz combustible alimenté au côté de fourniture du ventilateur dans la direction de la tête (2), ladite unité de ventilateur comprenant un rotor radial (4) et un collecteur (5) pour loger ledit rotor, le ventilateur étant doté d'au moins une section d'admission (6) et d'au moins une section de fourniture (7) pour le flux qui sont définies dans le collecteur (5), des moyens d'entraînement (8) étant prévus pour la rotation du rotor (4) autour d'un axe de rotation (X), la section d'admission (6) du ventilateur étant agencée du même côté que la tête de combustion (2), ledit agencement comprenant des seconds moyens de transport (14) pour le transport du flux d'air, et en option de gaz, entre la tête (2) et le rotor (4) dans la direction de ladite section d'admission (6), caractérisé en ce que lesdits premier et second moyens de transport (13, 14) présentent une longueur et une configuration telles que le flux du mélange air et gaz amené au côté de fourniture (7) du ventilateur croise le flux d'air, et en option de gaz, dirigé vers la section d'admission (6) du ventilateur, lesdits flux étant conduits séparément et distinctement par lesdits premier et second moyens de transport (13, 14) respectifs.
  2. Agencement selon la revendication 1, dans lequel ladite section d'admission (6) comprend une ouverture du collecteur (5) coaxiale à l'axe de rotation du rotor (4) et tournée axialement vers la tête de combustion (2).
  3. Agencement selon la revendication 1 ou 2, dans lequel lesdits premiers et seconds moyens de transport (13, 14) comprennent une première (16) et une seconde (19) pluralité respective de conduits disposés en alternance les uns par rapport aux autres, de sorte que dans la zone (M) avec lesdits flux se croisant, un conduit d'une de ladite pluralité soit interposé entre une paire de conduits de l'autre pluralité.
  4. Agencement selon la revendication 3, dans lequel les conduits (19) de ladite seconde pluralité sont au moins partiellement définis par des cavités respectives (20a) passant par des pales plus droites correspondantes (20) d'un premier dispositif de stator plus droit, chaque conduit (16) de ladite première pluralité étant au moins partiellement défini entre des paires de pales adjacentes (20).
  5. Agencement selon la revendication 4, dans lequel les conduits (19) de ladite seconde pluralité sont en communication fluidique au niveau d'une de leurs extrémités avec une première chambre (15) pour la connexion avec la section d'admission (6) du rotor (4), ladite chambre (15) s'étendant entre la tête (2) et le rotor (4).
  6. Agencement selon la revendication 5, dans lequel ladite chambre (15) est dotée de pales de stator.
  7. Agencement selon l'une quelconque des revendications 3 à 6, dans lequel les conduits (19) de ladite seconde pluralité sont distribués le long d'un profil circonférentiel concentrique avec l'axe (X) du rotor, situé en aval de la section de fourniture (7) par rapport à la direction de flux.
  8. Agencement selon la revendication 7, dans lequel les conduits (19) de ladite seconde pluralité sont disposés selon un pas angulaire régulier le long dudit profil circonférentiel.
  9. Agencement selon l'une quelconque des revendications 3 à 8, dans lequel les conduits (16) de ladite première pluralité s'étendent afin de relier la section de fourniture (7) du ventilateur à une seconde chambre (17) pour la distribution du mélange qui communique lui-même avec la tête de combustion (2).
  10. Agencement selon la revendication 9, dans lequel la première et la seconde chambre (15, 17) sont interposées axialement entre la tête (2) et le rotor (4) du ventilateur.
  11. Agencement selon l'une quelconque des revendications 3 à 10, dans lequel au niveau des conduits (16, 19) desdits premier et second moyens de transport avec des flux se croisant, la direction du flux d'admission présente une composante axiale dominante et la direction du flux de fourniture présente une composante radiale dominante.
  12. Agencement selon l'une quelconque des revendications 3 à 11, dans lequel l'injection du gaz dans ladite première chambre (15), en amont de la section d'admission (6) du rotor, a lieu à travers un ou plusieurs des conduits (19) de ladite seconde pluralité.
