Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Leuchte, die eine Lichtquelle (1) und einen Lichtaustrittsbereich (5) aufweist, durch den hindurch von der Lichtquelle (1) stammendes Licht in einen Bereich (A) außerhalb der Leuchte abgegeben wird; weiterhin weist die Leuchte einen Rotor (4) auf. Dabei ist der Rotor (4) als optisches Element ausgebildet, das derart angeordnet ist, dass es von der Lichtquelle (1) stammendes Licht auf dem Weg zum Lichtaustrittsbcrcich (5) optisch bccinflusst. Auf diese Weise ist ein gesondertes optisches Element, beispielsweise also eine Linse oder ein Raster, entbehrlich. Der Rotor (4) kann simultan zwei Funktionen erfüllen: er kann einerseits zur Kühlung der Lichtquelle (1) beitragen und andererseits als optisches Element fungieren, das beispielsweise eine Blendwirkung verringert oder verhindert. Auf diese Weise kann die Leuchte insbesondere sehr kompakt gestaltet werden. Der Rotor (4) kann auch unterschiedliche Phosphorbereiche zur Beeinflussung des von der Lichtquelle stammenden Lichts aufweisen.

Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft eine Leuchte mit einer Lichtquelle, einem Lichtaustrittsbereich, durch den hindurch von der Lichtquelle stammendes Licht in einen Bereich außerhalb der Leuchte abgegeben wird und mit einem Rotor.
  • Aus dem Stand der Technik ist eine derartige Leuchte bekannt, bei der der Rotor dazu dient, einen kühlenden Luftstrom zu erzeugen, mit dem Wärme abtransportiert wird, die von der Lichtquelle bei Betrieb erzeugt wird.
  • Bei einer derartigen Leuchte kann es vorkommen, dass die Lichtquelle auf einen Benutzer der Leuchte eine unerwünschte Blendwirkung ausübt. Insbesondere ist dies der Fall bei mehr oder weniger punktförmigen Lichtquellen, wie beispielsweise Licht emittierenden Dioden (LEDs). Aus dem Stand der Technik ist es hierzu bekannt, optische Elemente, wie beispielsweise Linsen oder Raster vorzusehen, um eine solche Blendung zu verringern oder zu verhindern. Derartige optische Elemente sind daher in der Leuchte auf dem Weg des Lichts zwischen der Lichtquelle und dem Lichtaustrittsbereich der Leuchte angeordnet. Dementsprechend ist gemäß dem Stand der Technik ein separates Bauteil zur Vermeidung einer unerwünschten Blendwirkung vorgesehen beziehungsweise erforderlich.
  • Der vorliegenden Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zu Grunde, eine entsprechende Leuchte anzugeben, bei der eine mögliche unerwünschte Blendwirkung auf alternative Weise verringert beziehungsweise verhindert werden kann. Dabei soll die Leuchte kompakt gestaltet werden können und eine effektive Lichtabgabe und Kühlung der Lichtquelle ermöglichen.
  • Diese Aufgabe wird gemäß der Erfindung durch die in dem unabhängigen Anspruch genannte Leuchte gelöst. Besondere Ausführungsarten der Erfindung sind in den abhängigen Ansprüchen angegeben.
  • Gemäß der Erfindung ist eine Leuchte vorgesehen, die eine Lichtquelle und einen Lichtaustrittsbereich aufweist, durch den hindurch von der Lichtquelle stammendes Licht in einen Bereich außerhalb der Leuchte abgegeben wird; weiterhin weist die Leuchte einen Rotor auf. Dabei ist der Rotor als optisches Element ausgebildet, das derart angeordnet ist, dass es von der Lichtquelle stammendes Licht auf dem Weg zum Lichtaustrittsbereich optisch beeinflusst.
  • Auf diese Weise ist ein gesondertes optisches Element, beispielsweise also eine Linse oder ein Raster, entbehrlich. Der Rotor kann simultan zwei Funktionen erfüllen: er kann einerseits zur Kühlung der Lichtquelle beitragen und andererseits als optisches Element fungieren, das beispielsweise eine Blendwirkung verringert oder verhindert. Auf diese Weise kann die Leuchte insbesondere sehr kompakt gestaltet werden.
  • Vorteilhaft ist der Rotor derart ausgebildet, dass er das von der Lichtquelle stammende Licht zumindest teilweise reflektiert.
  • Vorzugsweise ist die Leuchte derart ausgebildet, dass der Rotor einen Luftstrom zur Kühlung der Lichtquelle erzeugen kann. Auf diese Weise lässt sich mit dem Rotor die Lichtquelle direkt kühlen.
  • Vorteilhaft weist die Leuchte weiterhin einen vorzugsweise zylinderförmigen Kühlkörper auf, der zur Kühlung der Lichtquelle thermisch mit der Lichtquelle verbunden ist. Dies ermöglicht eine besonders effektive Kühlung der Lichtquelle. Vorteilhaft ist dabei der Rotor derart angeordnet, dass er einen Luftstrom erzeugen kann, der auf den Kühlkörper gerichtet ist. Dies trägt zur weiteren Steigerung der Effizienz der Kühlung bei.
  • Vorteilhaft weist die Leuchte weiterhin ein Rotorgehäuse für den Rotor auf, wobei das Rotorgehäuse einen reflektierenden Innenwandbereich aufweist. Auf diese Weise kann besonders viel von dem Licht, das von der Lichtquelle stammt, über den Lichtaustrittsbereich nach außen geleitet werden, so dass eine besonders effektive Lichtabgabe ermöglicht ist.
  • Vorteilhaft weist der Rotor einen Lichteinkoppelbereich zur Einkopplung des von der Lichtquelle stammenden Lichts und einen Lichtauskoppelbereich auf, wobei der Rotor derart ausgebildet ist, dass das durch den Lichteinkoppelbereich eingekoppelte Licht durch das Innere des Rotors gelenkt und durch den Lichtauskoppelbereich ausgekoppelt wird. Der Rotor kann auf diese Weise im Sinne eines "Lichtleiters" wirken.
  • Der Rotor kann dabei vorteilhaft zur effektiven Lenkung des Lichts einen reflektierenden Innenwandbereich aufweisen.
  • Vorteilhaft weisen der Lichteinkoppelbereich und der Lichtauskoppelbereich mit Bezug auf die Rotationsachse des Rotors in entgegen gesetzte Richtungen. Beispielsweise kann dabei der Lichteinkoppelbereich in eine erste Richtung weisen, die zu der Lichtquelle hin weist und der Lichtauskoppelbereich in eine zweite Richtung, die zum Lichtaustrittsbereich der Leuchte hin weist.
  • Vorteilhaft umfasst der Lichteinkoppelbereich eine ringförmige Struktur. Auf diese Weise kann gewährleistet sein, dass bei Drehung des Rotors Licht von der Lichtquelle kontinuierlich und somit besonders effektiv in den Rotor eingekoppelt wird.
  • Vorteilhaft umfasst der Lichtauskoppelbereich einen linienförmigen Teil, vorzugsweise in Form einer gebogenen Line.
  • Vorteilhaft weist der Rotor einen reflektierenden Außenwandbereich auf. In diesem Fall ist es möglich, aber nicht erforderlich, dass der Rotor derart ausgebildet ist, dass Licht durch das Innere des Rotors gelenkt wird. Der reflektierende Außenwandbereich kann zur optischen Beeinflussung des von der Lichtquelle stammenden Lichts dienen.
  • Vorteilhaft ist der der Rotor derart ausgebildet, dass er so schnell drehen kann, dass das von der Lichtquelle stammende und von dem Rotor optisch beeinflusste Licht für ein menschliches Auge homogen erscheint. Dies trägt zur Verhinderung oder Verminderung einer unerwünschten Blendung bei.
  • Die Lichtquelle kann eine LED oder mehrere LEDs umfassen.
  • Vorzugsweise weist der Rotor einen ersten Bereich auf sowie einen, von dem ersten Bereich räumlich getrennten, zweiten Bereich, wobei der erste Bereich ein erstes Mittel zur wellenlängenverändernden Beeinflussung von Licht aufweist und der zweite Bereich ein zweites Mittel zur wellenlängenverändernden Beeinflussung von Licht, wobei sich das erste Mittel von dem zweiten Mittel unterscheidet. Vorteilhaft ist dabei das erste Mittel ein Phosphor einer ersten Art ist und das zweite Mittel ein Phosphor einer zweiten Art. Hierdurch lässt sich mit der Leuchte Licht erzeugen, das mit Bezug auf die Farbe besonders homogen erscheint.
  • Vorzugsweise umfasst dabei die Lichtquelle eine erste LED und eine zweite LED, wobei die erste LED dazu ausgebildet ist, ein erstes Licht zu erzeugen und die zweite LED dazu ausgebildet ist, ein zweites Licht zu erzeugen, das sich von dem ersten Licht spektral unterscheidet, wobei vorzugsweise das erste Licht von dem ersten Mittel wellenlängenverändernd beeinflusst wird und das zweite Licht von dem zweiten Mittel wellenlängenverändernd beeinflusst wird.
  • Vorzugsweise weist der Rotor dabei außerdem einen dritten Bereich auf, der sowohl von dem ersten Bereich, als auch von dem zweiten Bereich räumlich getrennt ist, wobei der dritte Bereich ein drittes Mittel zur wellenlängenverändernden Beeinflussung von Licht aufweist, das sich sowohl von dem ersten Mittel, als auch von dem zweiten Mittel unterscheidet. Auf diese Weise lässt sich die Farbwiedergabe der Leuchte weiterhin verbessern.
  • Vorzugsweise weist die Lichtquelle wenigstens eine weitere LED auf, die dazu ausgebildet ist, ein Licht einer Wellenlänge zu erzeugen, das von dem Rotor nicht wellenlängenverändernd beeinflusst wird. Hierdurch lässt sich wenigstens eine weitere Farbe zu dem von der Leuchte abgestrahlten Licht hinzufügen. Außerdem lässt sich die Farbwiedergabe auf diese Weise weiterhin verbessern.
  • Vorzugsweise weist der Rotor einen Fügelbereich zur Erzeugung eines Luftstroms zur Kühlung der Lichtquelle auf sowie einen optisch wirksamen Bereich zur optischen Beeinflussung des von der Lichtquelle stammenden Lichts, wobei mit Bezug auf die Rotationsachse des Rotors der Flügelbereich auf einer Seite der Lichtquelle angeordnet ist und der optisch wirksame Bereich auf der anderen Seite der Lichtquelle.
  • Die Erfindung wir im Folgenden anhand von Ausführungsbeispielen und mit Bezug auf die Zeichnungen näher erläutert. Es zeigen:

  • In Fig. 1 ist eine Querschnitt-Skizze zu einem ersten Ausführungsbeispiel einer erfindungsgemäßen Leuchte gezeigt. Die Leuchte weist eine Lichtquelle 1 auf. Die Lichtquelle kann beispielsweise ein LED oder mehrere LEDs umfassen. Weiterhin weist die Leuchte einen Lichtaustrittsbereich 5 auf, durch den hindurch von der Lichtquelle 1 stammendes Licht in einen Bereich A außerhalb der Leuchte abgegeben wird.
  • Zur leichteren Verdeutlichung wird im Folgenden von einer Orientierung der Leuchte ausgegangen, bei der der Lichtaustrittsbereich 5 nach "unten" weist. Dies entspricht der Darstellung der Fig. 1. Somit ergibt sich beim gezeigten Beispiel für die Leuchte eine nach unten weisende Hauptabstrahlrichtung R.
  • Weiterhin weist die Leuchte einen Rotor 4 auf, der beispielsweise mehrere Rotorblätter umfassen kann. Der Rotor 4 kann - wie in Fig. 1 dargestellt - zwischen der Lichtquelle 1 und dem Lichtaustrittsbereich 5 angeordnet sein. Der Rotor 4 kann insbesondere von der Lichtquelle 1 aus gesehen in Hauptabstrahlrichtung R angeordnet sein.
  • Der Rotor R ist drehbar mit Bezug auf die restliche Leuchte gelagert, wobei die Rotationsachse S beispielsweise senkrecht orientiert sein kann. Die Hauptabstrahlrichtung R kann parallel zu der Rotationsachse S des Rotors 4 vorgesehen sein.
  • Die Lichtquelle 1 kann insbesondere längs der Rotationsachse S des Rotors 4 betrachtet, außerhalb - beispielsweise oberhalb - desjenigen Bereichs angeordnet sein, der von dem Rotor 4 bei einer Umdrehung eingenommen wird.
  • Der Rotor 4 ist als optisches Element ausgebildet, das derart angeordnet ist, dass es von der Lichtquelle 1 stammendes Licht auf dem Weg zum Lichtaustrittsbereich 5 optisch beeinflusst. Durch den sich drehenden Rotor 4 kann das Licht verteilt werden, so dass bei Betrachtung der Leuchte von dem Bereich A außerhalb der Leuchte keine punktförmige Lichtquelle zu sehen ist und damit eine mögliche unerwünschte Blendung verringert oder verhindert ist.
  • Dabei kann insbesondere vorgesehen sein, dass der Rotor 4 derart ausgebildet ist, dass er so schnell drehen kann, dass das von der Lichtquelle 1 stammende und von dem Rotor 4 optisch beeinflusste Licht für ein menschliches Auge homogen erscheint.
  • Der Rotor 4 kann derart ausgebildet sein, dass er das von der Lichtquelle 1 stammende Licht zur optischen Beeinflussung zumindest teilweise reflektiert.
  • Weiterhin kann die Leuchte - wie beim Ausführungsbeispiel der Fall - einen Kühlkörper 2 aufweisen, der zur Kühlung der Lichtquelle 1 thermisch mit der Lichtquelle 1 verbunden ist. Beispielsweise kann die Lichtquelle 1 auf einer Unterseite beziehungsweise auf einer in Hauptabstrahlrichtung R weisende Seite des Kühlkörpers 2 angeordnet sein. Beispielsweise kann die Lichtquelle 1 eine LED umfassen, die auf einer Platine angeordnet ist, wobei die Platine unmittelbar auf der betreffenden Seite des Kühlkörpers 2 angeordnet ist. Falls die Lichtquelle 1 mehrere LEDs umfasst, können dementsprechend mehrere Platinen vorgesehen sein.
  • Der Kühlkörper 2 kann zylinderförmig sein, insbesondere kreiszylinderförmig, wobei die Zylinderachse vorzugsweise mit der Symmetrieachse S des Rotors 4 zusammenfällt. Dies ermöglicht eine besonders raumsparende beziehungsweise kompakte Ausführung der Leuchte.
  • Vorteilhaft ist der Rotor 4 derart ausgebildet, dass er einen Luftstrom erzeugen kann, der auf den Kühlkörper 2 gerichtet ist. Der Rotor 4 kann also einen Lüfter bilden. Besonders vorteilhaft kann vorgesehen sein, dass der Rotor 4 derart ausgebildet ist, dass er einen Luftstrom erzeugen kann, der sowohl auf den Kühlkörper 2, als auch auf die Lichtquelle 1 gerichtet ist. Im gezeigten Beispiel kann der Rotor 4 einen aufwärts gerichteten Luftstrom erzeugen, so dass hierdurch sowohl die Lichtquelle 1, als auch der Kühlkörper 2 gekühlt werden. Dies ermöglicht eine besonders effektive Kühlung.
  • Die Leuchte kann weiterhin ein Rotorgehäuse 6 aufweisen, das vorzugsweise einen reflektierenden Innenwandbereich aufweist. Dies ist vorteilhaft, weil hierdurch besonders viel Licht von der Lichtquelle 1 zu dem Lichtaustrittsbereich 5 gelenkt werden kann. Dabei kann das Rotorgehäuse 6 vorzugsweise kreiszylinderförmig ausgebildet sein, wobei der Zylinderdurchmesser des Rotorgehäuses 6 etwa - beispielsweise bis auf 5% oder 10% - mit dem Zylinderdurchmesser des Kühlkörpers 2 übereinstimmt. Dies trägt weiter dazu bei, dass die Leuchte besonders kompakt gestaltet werden kann. Das Rotorgehäuse 6 kann - beispielsweise mit einem in Hauptabstrahlrichtung R weisenden Rand - den Lichtaustrittsbereich 5 der Leuchte begrenzen.
  • Beim Ausführungsbeispiel, das in Fig. 1 skizziert ist, weist der Rotor 4 einen Lichteinkoppelbereich 7 zur Einkopplung des von der Lichtquelle 1 stammenden Lichts und einen Lichtauskoppelbereich 8 auf. Dabei ist der Rotor 4 derart ausgebildet, dass das durch den Lichteinkoppelbereich 7 eingekoppelte Licht durch das Innere des Rotors 4 gelenkt und durch den Lichtauskoppelbereich 8 ausgekoppelt wird. Zur Lenkung des Lichts kann der Rotor 4 beispielsweise einen reflektierenden Innenwandbereich aufweisen. In Fig. 1 sind exemplarisch und symbolisch zwei Lichtstrahlen L1 und L2 mit gepunkteten Linien skizziert, die den Weg des Lichts von der Lichtquelle 1 durch den Lichteinkoppelbereich 7, durch das Innere des Rotors 4 zum Lichtauskoppelbereich 8 und weiter durch den Lichtaustrittsbereich 5 der Leuchte symbolisieren. Man erkennt, dass die Lichtstrahlen L1, L2 zur Lenkung innerhalb des Rotors 4 an dem reflektierenden Innenwandbereich des Rotors 4 reflektiert werden.
  • Der Lichteinkoppelbereich 7 und der Lichtauskoppelbereich 8 können mit Bezug auf die Rotationsachse S des Rotors 4 in entgegen gesetzte Richtungen weisen. Beispielsweise kann der Lichteinkoppelbereich 7 zur Lichtquelle 1 hin weisen und der Lichtauskoppelbereich 8 zu dem Lichtaustrittsbereich 5 der Leuchte hin weisen. Im gezeigten Beispiel weist in diesem Sinne der Lichteinkoppelbereich 7 nach oben und der Lichtauskoppelbereich 8 nach unten.
  • Vorteilhaft umfasst der Lichteinkoppelbereich 7 eine ringförmige Struktur. Insbesondere kann vorgesehen sein, dass die Lichtquelle 1 von der Rotationsachse S des Rotors 4 einen Abstand a aufweist und die ringförmige Struktur einen Kreis mit Radius a um die Rotationsachse S beinhaltet. Hierdurch kann bei Drehung des Rotors 4 von der Lichtquelle 1 stammendes Licht in kontinuierlicher Weise und somit besonders effektiv durch den Lichteinkoppelbereich 7 in den Rotor 4 eingekoppelt werden. Besonders effektiv ist dies, wenn die Lichtquelle 1 ebenfalls eine ringförmige Struktur mit demselben Radius a bildet; beispielsweise können als Lichtquelle 1 mehrere auf Platinen angeordnete LEDs vorgesehen sein, die längs einer Kreislinie mit dem Radius a um die Rotationsachse S des Rotors 4 an dem Kühlkörper 2 angeordnet sind.
  • Der Lichtauskoppelbereich 8 kann einen linienförmigen Teil umfassen. Beispielswiese kann vorgesehen sein, dass der Rotor 4 mehrere Rotorblätter beziehungsweise Rotorflügel umfasst und jedes der Rotorblätter einen linienförmigen Teil des Lichtauskoppelbereichs 8 aufweist. Dabei kann der linienförmige Teil vorzugsweise die Form einer gebogenen Linie haben.
  • Es kann also insbesondere ein Rotor 4 mit mehreren Rotorblätter vorgesehen sein, wobei der ringförmige Lichteinkoppelbereich 7 zu den einzelnen Rotorblättern hin verzweigt.
  • Die Lichtquelle 1 und die Lichteinkoppelfläche 7 des Rotors 4 können derart ausgebildet sein, dass das von der Lichtquelle 1 stammende Licht im Wesentlichen vollständig, also beispielsweise zu mindestens 90% durch den Lichteinkoppelbereich 7 in den Rotor 4 eingekoppelt wird. Beispielsweise kann vorgesehen sein, dass die Lichtquelle 1 ausschließlich innerhalb der Projektion der ringförmigen Struktur der Lichteinkoppelfläche 7 in Richtung der Rotationsachse S des Rotors 4 angeordnet ist.
  • Weiterhin vorzugsweise ist die Leuchte derart ausgestaltet, dass die von dem Lichtauskoppelbereich 8 des Rotors 4 in Richtung der Rotationsachse S des Rotors 4 projizierte Fläche größer ist als die von der Lichtquelle 1 in Richtung der Rotationsachse S des Rotors 4 projizierte Fläche; beispielsweise kann dabei vorgesehen sein, dass die von dem Lichtauskoppelbereich 8 projizierte Fläche mehr als doppelt so groß ist, vorzugsweise mehr als viermal so groß ist, wie die von der Lichtquelle 1 projizierte Fläche.
  • Weiterhin vorzugsweise ist die Leuchte derart ausgestaltet, dass sich der Lichtaustrittsbereich 5 in Richtung der Rotationsachse S des Rotors 4 betrachtet um die Rotationsachse S des Rotors 4 herum erstreckt, vorzugsweise symmetrisch.
  • Einer potenziellen Blendwirkung der Leuchte bzw. der Lichtquelle 1 wird durch die zuletzt genannten Ausgestaltungen besonders effektiv entgegen gewirkt.
  • Zur besonders effektiven Lichtlenkung im Inneren des Rotors 4 kann der Rotor 4 aus transparentem Material bestehen.
  • In Fig. 2 ist ein zweites Ausführungsbeispiel einer erfindungsgemäßen Leuchte dargestellt. Die Bezugszeichen sind analog verwendet. Im Folgenden wird lediglich auf Unterschiede zum ersten Ausführungsbeispiel eingegangen.
  • Beim zweiten Ausführungsbeispiel weist der Rotor 4 einen reflektierenden Außenwandbereich auf. Beispielsweise kann vorgesehen sein, dass der Rotor 4 mehrere Rotorblätter aufweist, die von außen auffallendes Licht reflektieren. Die Lichtquelle 1 ist - anders als beim ersten Ausführungsbeispiel - derart angeordnet, dass das von der Lichtquelle 1 stammende Licht auf einen Außenwandbereich des Rotors 4 fällt. In Fig. 2 sind hierfür symbolisch drei Lichtstrahlen L3, L4 und L5 skizziert.
  • Auf diese Weise können die Rotorblätter quasi als Lamellen in der Art eines Rasterreflektors wirken. Das von der Lichtquelle 1 stammende Licht muss in diesem Fall nicht in den Rotor 4 eingekoppelt werden. Es kann durch das Rotorgehäuse 6 hindurch gelenkt und über den Lichtaustrittsbereich 5 der Leuchte abgegeben werden, wobei die reflektierenden Außenwandbereiche der Rotorblätter die Lichtabgabe in gewünschter Weise beeinflussen können. Dabei kann durch entsprechende Formgebung des Rotors 4 beziehungsweise der Rotorblätter eine zum Lichtaustrittsbereich 5 der Leuchte hin gerichtete Lichtabgabe erzielt werden.
  • Wie beim ersten Ausführungsbeispiel kann auch hier vorgesehen sein, dass der Rotor 4 so schnell drehen kann, dass sich für den menschlichen Betrachter eine homogene Lichtabgabe ergibt.
  • Es kann auch eine Kombination der beiden Ausführungsbeispiele in dem Sinn vorgesehen sein, dass das von der Lichtquelle 1 stammende Licht teilweise durch den Lichteinkoppelbereich 7 des Rotors 4 in das Innere des Rotors 4 eingekoppelt und im Weiteren durch den Lichtauskoppelbereich 8 ausgekoppelt wird und teilweise auch im Sinn des zweiten Ausführungsbeispiels auf Außenwandbereichbereiche des Rotors 4 gelangt und dort reflektiert wird.
  • In Fig. 3 ist ein drittes Ausführungsbeispiel einer erfindungsgemäßen Leuchte im Querschnitt dargestellt; in Fig. 4 ist eine Ansicht dieser Leuchte entgegen der Hauptabstrahlrichtung R skizziert. Die Bezugszeichen sind analog wie oben verwendet.
  • Gemäß dem dritten Ausführungsbeispiel weist der Rotor 4 einen ersten Bereich 11 auf sowie einen, von dem ersten Bereich 11 räumlich getrennten, zweiten Bereich 12, wobei der erste Bereich 11 ein erstes Mittel zur wellenlängenverändernden Beeinflussung von Licht aufweist und der zweite Bereich 12 ein zweites Mittel zur wellenlängenverändernden Beeinflussung von Licht; dabei unterscheidet sich das erste Mittel 11 von dem zweiten Mittel 12. Bei dem ersten Mittel kann es sich insbesondere um einen Phosphor einer ersten Art handeln und bei dem zweiten Mittel um einen Phosphor einer zweiten Art. Der Phosphor der ersten Art kann sich von dem Phosphor der zweiten Art insbesondere dadurch unterscheiden, dass er Licht in einem anderen Wellenlängenbereich abstrahlt. Sowohl der erste Bereich 11, als auch der zweite Bereich 12 sind lichtdurchlässig und derart angeordnet, dass sie bei Rotation des Rotors 4 das von der Lichtquelle 1 stammende Licht auf dem Weg zum Lichtaustrittsbereich 5 optisch beeinflussen.
  • Der Rotor 4 kann bei diesem Ausführungsbeispiel ein Scheibenelement 14 aufweisen, in dem sowohl der erste Bereich 11, als auch der zweite Bereich 12 angeordnet sind, wobei die Rotationsachse S des Rotors 4 vorzugsweise normal zu einer Oberfläche des Scheibenelements 14 orientiert ist. Das Scheibenelement 14 kann dementsprechend durch eine Phosphorscheibe gebildet sein. Wie am besten aus Fig. 4 hervorgeht, kann der erste Bereich 11 und der zweite Bereich 12 Seite an Seite angeordnet sein; die Anordnung des zweiten Bereichs 12 relativ zu dem ersten Bereich 11 kann derart sein, dass eine längs der Rotationsachse S des Rotors 4 projizierte Fläche des ersten Bereichs 11 von einer längs der Rotationsachse S des Rotors 4 projizierten Fläche des zweiten Bereichs 11 getrennt ist. Das Verhältnis der entsprechend projizierten Flächen kann dabei - wie in Fig. 4 angedeutet - beispielsweise 1 : 1 betragen. Es kann aber auch ein anderes entsprechendes Flächenverhältnis vorgesehen sein.
  • In Fig. 5 ist eine Variante gezeigt, bei der ein erster Bereich 11', ein zweiter Bereich 12' und ein dritter Bereich 13 vorgesehen sind, die analog zu den oben genannten Bereichen 11, 12 ausgebildet sind und die insbesondere jeweils ein wellenlängenveränderndes Mittel, beispielsweise einen Phosphor jeweils unterschiedlicher Art aufweisen, wobei sich die drei Bereiche 11', 12', 13 in ihren wellenlängenverändernden Eigenschaften unterscheiden. Beispielsweise können drei unterschiedliche Phosphor-Arten hierfür vorgesehen sein, die jeweils Licht in unterschiedlichen Wellenlängenbereichen aussenden. Das entsprechende Flächenverhältnis kann 1 : 1 : 1 betragen oder 1 : 1 : x, wobei x eine beliebige positive Zahl ist oder es kann ein noch anderes Flächenverhältnis vorgesehen sein.
  • Wie in Fig. 6 als weitere Variante gezeigt, können die Bereiche 11 ", 12", 13' jeweils mehrere voneinander räumlich getrennte Areale aufweisen. Auf diese Weise lässt sich bei bestimmter Rotationsgeschwindigkeit des Rotors 4 eine homogenere Lichterscheinung mit der Leuchte erzeugen. Es ist dabei nicht erforderlich, dass sich die Bereiche - wie in Fig. 6 skizziert - berühren. Die Bereiche können beliebig auf dem Scheibenelement 14 angeordnet sein. Das Flächenverhältnis kann wiederum 1 : 1 : 1 oder ein anderes sein.
  • Es kann außerdem noch ein vierter, fünfter usw. analog ausgebildeter Bereich vorgesehen sein.
  • Die Grenzlinien zwischen den Bereichen müssen nicht geradlinig sein, sie können jede beliebige geometrische Form haben. Die Grenzlinien können sich auch voneinander in ihren Formen unterscheiden. Beispielswiese könne zwei Bereiche - längs der Rotationsachse S betrachtet - rechteckig sein und der dritte Bereich kann in Form von Kreisen innerhalb der entsprechenden Rechteckformen angeordnet sein.
  • Wieder mit Bezug auf Fig. 3 kann die Lichtquelle 1 insbesondere wenigstens eine LED 29 aufweisen, die vorzugsweise auf einem Substrat 15 angeordnet ist. Weiterhin kann die Leuchte ein Rohrelement 17 aufweisen, das die Lichtquelle 1 umgibt, beispielsweise symmetrisch zur Rotationsachse S des Rotors 4. Das Rohrelement 17 kann analog zu dem oben genannten Rotorgehäuse 6 ausgebildet sein. Das Scheibenelement 14 kann dabei an einem ersten Endbereich 19 des Rohrelements 17 angeordnet sein und die Lichtquelle 1 an dem, dem ersten Endbereich 19 gegenüberliegenden, zweiten Endbereich 21 des Rohrelements 17.
  • Das Scheibenelement 14 kann an einem Stabelement 23 angeordnet sein, wobei die Rotationsachse S innerhalb des Stabelements 23 verläuft, insbesondere mit einer Längsachse des Stabelements 23 zusammenfällt. Das Stabelement 23 kann Teil des Rotors 4 sein. Zum Antrieb des Rotors 4 kann die Leuchte ein Antriebsmittel, insbesondere einen Motor 25 aufweisen. Der Motor 25 kann mit Bezug auf das Substrat 15 der Lichtquelle 1 gegenüberliegend angeordnet sein. Wie in Fig. 7 gezeigt, kann der Rotor 4 weiterhin einen Kühl- oder Flügelbereich 27 aufweisen, der zur Erzeugung eines Luftstroms zur Kühlung der Lichtquelle 1 ausgebildet ist. Insbesondere kann die Lichtquelle 1 gut wärmeleitend mit dem Substrat 15 verbunden sein und der Flügelbereich 27 dazu ausgebildet sein, einen Luftstrom zur Kühlung des Substrats 15 zu erzeugen.
  • Die Lichtquelle 1 kann eine erste LED 29 aufweisen, die dazu ausgebildet ist, ein erstes Licht zu erzeugen, sowie eine zweite LED 29', die dazu ausgebildet ist ein zweites Licht zu erzeugen, das sich in seinem Spektrum von dem ersten Licht unterscheidet, wobei sowohl das erste Licht, als auch das zweite Licht wenigstens den Phosphor der ersten Art oder wenigstens den Phosphor der zweiten Art anregt.
  • Dabei können die erste LED 29 und die zweite LED 29' derart ausgebildet sein, dass das erste Licht und das zweite Licht ein und dieselbe Art von Phosphor anregen oder dass das erste Licht und das zweite Licht jeweils nur einen Teil der Arten von Phosphor anregen, die auf dem Scheibenelement 14 angeordnet sind. Beispielsweise kann vorgesehen sein, dass das erste Licht von dem ersten Mittel bzw. dem Phosphor der ersten Art wellenlängenverändernd beeinflusst wird und das zweite Licht von dem zweiten Mittel bzw. dem Phosphor der zweiten Art wellenlängenverändernd beeinflusst wird.
  • In Fig. 8 ist eine weitere Variante skizziert, gemäß der die Lichtquelle 1 eine weitere LED 31 aufweist, die dazu ausgebildet ist, ein Licht einer Wellenlänge zu erzeugen, das von dem Rotor 4 nicht wellenlängenverändernd beeinflusst wird. Beispielsweise kann es sich dabei um eine LED handeln, die rotes Licht aussenden kann. Auf diese Weise lässt sich der Farbeindruck des von der Leuchte erzeugten Lichts durch Zumischung einer weiteren Farbe weiterhin beeinflussen. Außerdem lässt sich hierdurch der Farbwiedergabeindex erhöhen. Der Effekt lässt sich dadurch noch verstärken, dass mehrere entsprechende weitere LEDs 31 vorgesehen sind, die jeweils Licht einer anderen Farbe bzw. eines anderen Spektrums aussenden können.
  • Insbesondere bei dem dritten Ausführungsbeispiel kann vorgesehen sein, dass die Leuchte außerdem noch ein weiteres optisches Element aufweist, beispielsweise eine Linse, das zur Beeinflussung des aus dem Rotor 4 austretenden Lichts dient.

Claims (20)

  1. Leuchte, aufweisend
    - eine Lichtquelle (1),
    - einen Lichtaustrittsbereich (5), durch den hindurch von der Lichtquelle (1) stammendes Licht in einen Bereich (A) außerhalb der Leuchte abgegeben wird, und
    - einen Rotor (4),
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    dass der Rotor (4) als optisches Element ausgebildet ist, das derart angeordnet ist, dass es von der Lichtquelle (1) stammendes Licht auf dem Weg zum Lichtaustrittsbereich (5) optisch beeinflusst.
  2. Leuchte nach Anspruch 1,
    wobei der Rotor (4) derart ausgebildet ist, dass er das von der Lichtquelle (1) stammende Licht zumindest teilweise reflektiert.
  3. Leuchte nach Anspruch 1 oder 2,
    die derart ausgebildet ist, dass der Rotor (4) einen Luftstrom zur Kühlung der Lichtquelle (1) erzeugen kann.
  4. Leuchte nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
    weiterhin aufweisend einen vorzugsweise zylinderförmigen Kühlkörper (2), der zur Kühlung der Lichtquelle (1) thermisch mit der Lichtquelle (1) verbunden ist.
  5. Leuchte nach Anspruch 4,
    bei der der Rotor (4) derart angeordnet ist, dass er einen Luftstrom erzeugen kann, der auf den Kühlkörper (2) gerichtet ist.
  6. Leuchte nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
    weiterhin aufweisend ein Rotorgehäuse (6) für den Rotor (4), wobei das Rotorgehäuse (6) einen reflektierenden Innenwandbereich aufweist.
  7. Leuchte nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
    bei der der Rotor (4) einen Lichteinkoppelbereich (7) zur Einkopplung des von der Lichtquelle (1) stammenden Lichts und einen Lichtauskoppelbereich (8) aufweist,
    wobei der Rotor (4) derart ausgebildet ist, dass das durch den Lichteinkoppelbereich (7) eingekoppelte Licht durch das Innere des Rotors (4) gelenkt und durch den Lichtauskoppelbereich (8) ausgekoppelt wird.
  8. Leuchte nach Anspruch 7,
    bei der der Rotor (4) zur Lenkung des Lichts einen reflektierenden Innenwandbereich aufweist.
  9. Leuchte nach Anspruch 7 oder 8,
    bei der der Lichteinkoppelbereich (7) und der Lichtauskoppelbereich (8) mit Bezug auf die Rotationsachse (S) des Rotors (4) in entgegen gesetzte Richtungen weisen.
  10. Leuchte nach einem der Ansprüche 7 bis 9,
    bei der der Lichteinkoppelbereich (7) eine ringförmige Struktur umfasst.
  11. Leuchte nach einem der Ansprüche 7 bis 10,
    bei der der Lichtauskoppelbereich (8) einen linienförmigen Teil umfasst, vorzugsweise in Form einer gebogenen Linie.
  12. Leuchte nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
    bei der der Rotor (4) einen reflektierenden Außenwandbereich aufweist.
  13. Leuchte nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
    bei der der Rotor (4) derart ausgebildet ist, dass er so schnell drehen kann, dass das von der Lichtquelle (1) stammende und von dem Rotor (4) optisch beeinflusste Licht für ein menschliches Auge homogen erscheint.
  14. Leuchte nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
    bei der die Lichtquelle (1) eine LED oder mehrere LEDs umfasst.
  15. Leuchte nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
    bei der der Rotor (4) einen ersten Bereich (11, 11', 11") aufweist sowie einen, von dem ersten Bereich (11, 11', 11 ") räumlich getrennten, zweiten Bereich (12, 12', 12 "),
    wobei der erste Bereich (11, 11', 11 ein erstes Mittel zur wellenlängenverändernden Beeinflussung von Licht aufweist und der zweite Bereich (12, 12', 12") ein zweites Mittel zur wellenlängenverändernden Beeinflussung von Licht, wobei sich das erste Mittel von dem zweiten Mittel unterscheidet.
  16. Leuchte nach Anspruch 15,
    bei der das erste Mittel ein Phosphor einer ersten Art ist und das zweite Mittel ein Phosphor einer zweiten Art.
  17. Leuchte nach Anspruch 15 oder 16,
    bei der die Lichtquelle (1) eine erste LED (29) und eine zweite LED (29') umfasst, wobei die erste LED (29) dazu ausgebildet ist, ein erstes Licht zu erzeugen und die zweite LED (29') dazu ausgebildet ist, ein zweites Licht zu erzeugen, das sich von dem ersten Licht spektral unterscheidet, wobei vorzugsweise das erste Licht von dem ersten Mittel wellenlängenverändernd beeinflusst wird und das zweite Licht von dem zweiten Mittel wellenlängenverändernd beeinflusst wird.
  18. Leuchte nach einem der Ansprüche 15 bis 17,
    bei der der Rotor (4) außerdem einen dritten Bereich (13, 13') aufweist, der sowohl von dem ersten Bereich (11, 11', 11 "), als auch von dem zweiten Bereich (12, 12', 12 ") räumlich getrennt ist,
    wobei der dritte Bereich (13, 13') ein drittes Mittel zur wellenlängenverändernden Beeinflussung von Licht aufweist, das sich sowohl von dem ersten Mittel, als auch von dem zweiten Mittel unterscheidet.
  19. Leuchte nach einem der Ansprüche 15 bis 18,
    bei der die Lichtquelle (1) außerdem wenigstens eine weitere LED (31) aufweist, die dazu ausgebildet ist, ein Licht einer Wellenlänge zu erzeugen, das von dem Rotor (4) nicht wellenlängenverändernd beeinflusst wird.
  20. Leuchte nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
    bei der der Rotor (4) einen Fügelbereich (27) zur Erzeugung eines Luftstroms zur Kühlung der Lichtquelle (1) aufweist und einen optisch wirksamen Bereich zur optischen Beeinflussung des von der Lichtquelle (1) stammenden Lichts,
    wobei mit Bezug auf die Rotationsachse (S) des Rotors (4) der Flügelbereich (27) auf einer Seite der Lichtquelle (1) angeordnet ist und der optisch wirksame Bereich auf der anderen Seite der Lichtquelle (1).
