  1. Manhole closing device (2), of the type comprising

    and
    - a blocking element (40) suitable for blocking the disengagement of the covering element knuckle (28) from the frame knuckle (26) when the covering element is in the disengagement position, the blocking element comprising a main body (42) and a foot (44),
    characterised in that the foot (44) is directed radially towards the outside relative to the central frame axis (X-X) .
  2. Manhole closing device according to claim 1, characterised in that the frame (4) comprises an outer frame wall (20) and the foot (44) overlaps the outer frame wall.
  3. Manhole closing device according to claim 2, characterised in that the foot (44) extends at least partially outside the outer frame wall (20).
  4. Manhole closing device according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the frame comprises a lower frame surface (14) which is to fit on a base (15), and in that the foot (44) extends below the lower frame surface.
  5. Manhole closing device according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the frame (4) comprises a cavity (38) which is suitable for receiving at least one portion of the main body (42) of the blocking element (40).
  6. Manhole closing device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the foot (44) is formed by a protrusion extending perpendicularly relative to the main body (42).
  7. Manhole closing device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the blocking element comprises a blocking member (46) received in a housing (48) delimited by the frame (4), the blocking member (46) forming a stop which is to oppose the disengagement of the covering element knuckle (28).
  8.
