This object is achieved by an ashtray with the features of claim 1. Further developments of the invention are disclosed in the parent claims 2 to 18.

The new multi-part ashtray has an upper and a lower unit, which are detachably connected to each other, wherein the lower, a collection space having unit consists of a base holder and a lower part and the upper unit of a, having an opening for the throw-in shell and a vertical guide part.

In a special design, in the lower unit, the base holder is a flat, substantially rectangular body having in its lower portion an upper and a lower tab and in its upper portion an eyelet and a nipple. The lower part of the lower unit consists of a base, a - preferably open at the top - the collecting space having container (hereinafter referred to collecting container), and an angle on which the base is pivotally held about a horizontal. The open-topped collecting container of the lower part is according to an embodiment, for the purpose of pan / tiltability, attached to its underside at an edge region by means of a, arranged on the horizontal leg hinge at the angle. A provided in the lower part of the base of the base rubber lip seals the interior of the ashtray against the ambient air and also prevents the deferred cylinder-like body of the upper part, that the base / collecting container is not pivotable in use.

The upper unit is held at the base holder of the lower unit by means of the guide part provided at the upper part thereof. Preferably, the upper unit and the lower unit can be locked together by a securing unit provided on the guide part. The cylindrical body 31 is pushed with its lower portion on the collecting container 23 of the lower part 20 until the lower edge of the shell 32 of the body 31 on the provided on the horizontal leg 21 a, base plate 29 of the lower part 20 abuts.

For fixing the lower part 20 to the base holder 10, the lower flap 12b and the upper flap 12a serve to engage the angle 21 with its upper recess 28a and its lower recess 28b.
