- Respiratory half-masks are worn in front of a user's face, covering the mouth and nose, to protect against harmful gases, vapors and particles. They consist of a mask body made of soft, elastic material, the shape of the following edge area sealingly rests on the face. In the mask body either two laterally arranged filter connection pieces and a frontally arranged exhalation valve piece or two laterally arranged exhalation valve pieces and a frontally arranged filter connection piece are sealingly integrated. On the outside of the mask body consisting of a hard plastic holding device for a brace on the user's head harness is releasably attached.
