Claims (10)

  1. Verfahren zur Erfassung eines Sturzes eines Benutzers, wobei der Benutzer eine Erfassungsvorrichtung (10) trägt, welche ein Gehäuse (12) umfasst, das Versorgungsmittel (16), Mittel zum Übertragen eines Alarmsignals (18), einen Beschleunigungsmesser (20) sowie Mittel zum Verarbeiten (22) der durch den Beschleunigungsmesser gelieferten Messwerte, wobei die Mittel zum Verarbeiten Berechnungsmittel (24) und Speichermittel (26) umfassen, enthält, wobei das Verfahren die Durchführung - mit Hilfe der Mittel zum Verarbeiten (22) - einer Verarbeitungskette der durch den Beschleunigungsmesser (20) erfassten Messwerte vorsieht, die aus den folgenden Schritten besteht:
    - Normalisierung der Beschleunigungsmesswerte zu Beschleunigungsdaten,
    - Extraktion der Schwerkraftkomponente aus den Daten,
    - Umwandlung und Zusammenfassung der Daten in bzw. zu sowohl qualitative(n) als auch quantitative(n) Indikatoren der Aktivität des Benutzers,
    - Klassifizierung des Verhaltens des Benutzers mit Hilfe der Indikatoren,
    - Auslösen eines Alarmsignals bei Beobachtung eines als unnormal vermuteten Verhaltens des Benutzers,
    wobei das Verfahren dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass die Extraktion der Schwerkraftkomponente darin besteht, den Schwerkraftvektor g unter Verwendung einer Kugel mit Einheitsradius, die in mehrere Knoten diskretisiert ist, um alle möglichen Richtungen des Einheitsvektors g zu modellieren, sowie einer stochastischen Berechnung zur Bestimmung der von jedem Knoten getragenen Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass der Vektor g sich in der durch diesen Knoten angezeigten Richtung befindet, zu bewerten.
  2. Verfahren zur Erfassung eines Sturzes eines Benutzers nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kugel mit Einheitsradius mit Hilfe eines gleichmäßigen Gitternetzes, das die Platonischen Körper verwendet, diskretisiert ist.
  3. Verfahren zur Erfassung eines Sturzes eines Benutzers nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der verwendete Platonische Körper ein Würfel ist.
  4. Verfahren zur Erfassung eines Sturzes eines Benutzers nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass alle Knoten der diskretisierten Kugel, oder des verwendeten Platonischen Körpers, die Zustände einer Markov-Kette, die innerhalb eines Hidden Markov Model verwendet wird, darstellen, und dass die Koeffizienten der Übergangsmatrix Tr von dem Abstand zwischen zwei Knoten abhängig sind und die Emissionsfunktion Em von dem Eigenbeschleunigungsvektor v, welcher dadurch hergeleitet wird, dass der durch jede Ecke bezeichnete Vektor g von dem beobachteten Beschleunigungsvektor w subtrahiert wird, abhängig ist.
  5. Verfahren zur Erfassung eines Sturzes eines Benutzers nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Verwendung der Markov-Kette eine Bewertung des Schwerkraftvektors g, einen Indikator für den Grad des Vertrauens in die Richtung dieses Vektors, sowie eine Bewertung des Eigenbeschleunigungsvektors v liefert.
  6. Verfahren zur Erfassung eines Sturzes eines Benutzers nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Schritt der Normalisierung darin besteht, auf die Bruttobeschleunigungsmesswerte Offsets und Skalierungskoeffizienten anzuwenden, um eine Darstellung der Messwerte in Form eines normalisierten dreidimensionalen Vektors zu erhalten, und dass ein Kriterium, das verwendet wird, um die Parameter dieser Normalisierung zu bestimmen, darin besteht, zu betrachten, dass wenn keine Eigenbeschleunigung vorliegt oder wenn diese sehr nahe Null ist, und unabhängig von der Position der Erfassungsvorrichtung (10), die Norm des gemessenen Vektors w, der dann im Wesentlichen gleich g ist, möglichst nahe eins liegen muss.
  7. Verfahren zur Erfassung eines Sturzes eines Benutzers nach einem der Ansprüche 5 oder 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass aus dem Schritt der Umwandlung und Zusammenfassung der Beschleunigungsdaten über einen gegebenen Zeitraum wenigstens die drei folgenden Indikatoren hervorgehen:
    - die Verwirrung, wobei dieser Indikator als umgekehrt proportional zum Minimum der Grade des Vertrauens in die Richtung des Vektors g berechnet wird,
    - die Streuung, wobei dieser Indikator als der Mittelwert der Norm der Unterschiede der aufeinander folgenden Eigenbeschleunigungsvektoren v berechnet wird,
    - die Aktivität, wobei dieser Indikator als der Mittelwert der Norm der Eigenbeschleunigungsvektoren v berechnet wird.
  8. Verfahren zur Erfassung eines Sturzes eines Benutzers nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Schritt der Klassifizierung des Verhaltens des Benutzers in den Verarbeitungsmitteln (22) in Form eines Markov-Automaten mit verborgenen Zuständen implementiert ist, dessen verborgener Teil den Zustand des Trägers darstellt und dessen beobachtbarer Teil durch die Indikatoren geliefert wird, und dass eine vereinfachte Version der möglichen Zustände, oder Äquivalenzklassen, des Verhaltens des Benutzers folgende ist, nämlich ein Ruhezustand (56), ein aktiver Zustand (58), ein Sturzzustand (60) und ein Zustand der Bewusstlosigkeit (62), die jeweils die Wahrscheinlichkeit tragen, dass der Benutzer sich in diesem Zustand befindet.
  9. Verfahren zur Erfassung eines Sturzes eines Benutzers nach Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass vorgesehen ist, das Senden eines Alarms mit Hilfe der Übertragungsmittel (18) auszulösen, sobald die Wahrscheinlichkeit des Zustandes der Bewusstlosigkeit (62) eine vorbestimmte Schwelle, die einem als unnormal vermuteten Verhalten des Benutzers entspricht, überschreitet.
  10. Vorrichtung zur Erfassung (10) eines Sturzes eines Benutzers, die ein Gehäuse (12) umfasst, das Versorgungsmittel (16), Mittel zum Übertragen eines Alarmsignals (18), einen Beschleunigungsmesser (20) sowie Mittel zum Verarbeiten (22) der durch den Beschleunigungsmesser gelieferten Messwerte, wobei die Mittel zum Verarbeiten Berechnungsmittel (24) und Speichermittel (26) umfassen, enthält, wobei das Verfahren zur Erfassung eines Sturzes nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche in den Verarbeitungsmitteln (22) implementiert ist.
