L'appareil de poursuite du soleil comprend une unité de capteurs de poursuite du soleil (10) comprenant une barrière verticale (12) destinée à diviser un logement de capteurs en quatre zones spécifiques correspondant à l'est, l'ouest, le sud et le nord, des éléments au sulfure de cadmium CDS(E), CDS(W), CDS(S), et CDS(N) disposés respectivement dans les quatre zones divisées par la barrière verticale (12), et le logement de capteurs (11) utilisé en tant que corps destiné à supporter la barrière verticale et les éléments CDS; une combinaison (20) de panneaux solaires comprenant un panneau solaire (22) présentant une pluralité de cellules solaires fixées sur celui-ci et un corps de support solaire (24) couplé à l'arrière de celles-ci; un logement (30) utilisé en tant que support pour l'unité (10) de détection de poursuite du soleil et la combinaison (20) des panneaux solaires; et un moteur de commande (40) est-ouest et un moteur de commande (50) nord-sud couplés au logement de manière à régler l'angle du panneau solaire par la rotation du corps du support solaire respectivement dans les directions est-ouest et nord-sud. Selon l'invention, la précision de la poursuite est élevée grâce à la limite minimale d'intensité lumineuse pouvant être poursuivie, et à la simplicité de la structure, ceci permettant une réduction des coûts de fabrication et de maintenance.
