From the FIGS. 1, 4 . 7, 8 and 10 It will be apparent that a plurality of rows of parallel pins 13, 14 are provided and that the pins 13 of the outer rows of pins have a greater longitudinal extent compared to the pins 14 of the inner rows of pins. In the FIGS.
- FIG. 2 It can be seen that the jet regulator housing 2 of the jet regulator 1 can be inserted from the outlet end face into the water outlet of a sanitary outlet fitting.

Jet regulators, which are to form a homogeneous, non-splashing and optionally also pearly-soft water jet from the effluent from a sanitary outlet fitting water, are already known in various designs. Such jet regulators regularly have a Einsetzpatrone trained and usable in the water outlet of a sanitary outlet fitting jet regulator housing, which has arranged in its housing interior an inflow side arranged and designed for example as a perforated plate jet disintegrator and at least one downstream in the flow direction grid or network structure. This at least one grid or network structure, which may be a metal screen, or may also be formed as a plastic grid, can serve as one, which from the jet disintegrator coming individual jets with air mixing mixing Strahlreguliereinrichtung. Additionally or instead, at least one, the jet splitter downstream grid or network structure may also be designed as a flow straightener, which has to equalize the water jet emerging from the water outlet.
It has also been created aerator, which have a non-circular aerator housing with a larger compared to the housing depth housing width to produce a wide outflowing at the water outlet water band.
In the prior art beam regulators there is the risk that the remaining after closing the water valve in the jet regulator housing water is exposed to the partly dry ambient air that this residual water inside the housing leaving behind a disturbing Lime layer evaporates. Over time, this can lead to a disturbing layer of limescale in the housing interior of the jet regulator housing and, in particular, in the small jet drill holes of the jet breaker, which permanently impair or even preclude the functionality of this jet regulator.
There is therefore a particular object to provide a jet regulator of the type mentioned above, which is characterized over a longer period by a trouble-free operation.
The achievement of this object is in the jet regulator of the type mentioned in particular that the pins each form a outside of the irradiated directly from the individual beams area, formed by the flowing through the jet regulator water but wettable evaporation surface, and that the pins to the side outside are arranged in the flow direction oriented projection of the flow holes.
The jet regulator according to the invention has a plurality of pins, which are oriented in the direction of flow and spaced apart from one another, in the housing partial region arranged between the jet decomposing device and the adjacent grid and / or net structure and which extend over the distance between the jet decomposing device and the adjacent grid element. or network structure. It is meant by "pin" each, approximately axially parallel to the flow direction-oriented projection, for example, have a square or a rectangular or otherwise elongated cross-section or may be formed as a wall portion. Since these pins do not significantly affect the flowing water flow, but only after an interruption of the water flow one To form wettable by the flowing water evaporation surface, the pins are arranged laterally outside of the oriented in the flow direction projection of the flow holes of the jet disintegrating device. This arrangement of the pins in the housing interior of the jet regulator housing has the consequence that the pins are not directly illuminated by the individual jets, but serve only as a non-jet-forming acting evaporation surface outside of the irradiated by the individual beams portion. These relatively long and flowed around by flowing water pins or webs are occupied even after closing the water valve with an enveloping water film, which leads to increased humidity and thus lower evaporation inside the housing of the jet regulator. Evaporation-related calcification must be prevented especially in the small Zerlegerbohrungen the inflow upstream Strahlzerlegereinrichtung because otherwise a poor jet pattern and insufficient ventilation of the water jet flowing through the result. In fact, the water pressure acting on such jet regulators is not sufficient to flush these small burial bores away from such calcifications and to break through such calcifications. Similar to a "sacrificial anode" in the field of electrical engineering, the pins provided according to the invention now form an evaporation surface which prevents evaporation-induced calcification in the region of the small drill holes of the jet-laying device arranged upstream of the flow direction. Since thus a complete dehydration is delayed in the interior of the jet regulator housing between the time intervals of water use, and thus undesirable lime deposits inside the housing of the jet regulator housing is counteracted, the jet regulator according to the invention is characterized by a high reliability even over a longer period of time. Since the pins provided in the jet regulator according to the invention do not develop a predominantly beam-forming function, it is expedient if individual beams coming from the jet-splitting device irradiate a respective intersection of the intersecting webs of the grid and / or network structure directly, and if this is oriented in the direction of flow Projection of at least more than half of the flow holes is each aligned with a crossing node.
In order for the pins to form a comparatively large surface which is wettable by the flowing water, it is advantageous if the ratio of the height h of the pins to the diagonal d, in particular at the foot of the pins, is greater than 1.5, preferably greater than 2.0 and in particular greater than 2.5 is.
In this case, a preferred embodiment according to the invention provides that each pin has a total surface area greater than 5 mm 2 , preferably greater than 7 mm 2 and in particular greater than 9 mm 2 . This area is a measure of the adhesiveness that the pens exert on the water.
The inventively provided pins can be held in any suitable form in the housing interior of the jet regulator housing. Thus, these pins can be formed, for example, to the bottom or outflow side of the jet disintegrating device. A preferred embodiment according to the invention, however, provides that the pins are additionally or instead formed on the outflow side of the jet disintegrating device and / or on the upstream side of the grid relationship or network structure adjacent thereto.
A preferred embodiment according to the invention sees In each case, the lattice and / or network structures forming the jet regulating device have a plurality of webs oriented transversely to the flow direction and delimiting passage openings between them.
In an embodiment according to the invention, in which the pins are integrally formed on the upstream side of the adjacent grid or network structure, it may be advantageous if the pins point with their free pin ends in the direction opposite to the direction of flow, there to the closing of the Water valve in this housing part area to keep remaining water longer.
In order for each individual pencil to be able to hold a comparatively large amount of water as a superficial film of water, it is advantageous if at least one pin has a non-round, preferably a polygonal, and in particular a cross-shaped pin cross-section. In particular, a cross-shaped pin cross-section has the advantage that in its cross-section it is particularly well adapted to the lattice or network structure supporting it.
The pins can be clipped, glued, welded or otherwise attached to the webs of the adjacent grid and / or network structure. A particularly simple and inexpensive to produce embodiment according to the invention, however, provides that the pins are integrally formed on the supporting webs.
The webs forming a lattice or network structure and the pins held thereon form a particularly good functional unit when the webs carrying the pins form a throughflow plane oriented transversely and preferably at right angles to the flow direction.
A preferred embodiment according to the invention provides that the webs carrying the pins are arranged in a lattice-like or net-like manner, crossing each other at crossing nodes.
A particularly advantageous development according to the invention provides that the webs carrying the pins form the inflow-side throughflow plane of the jet regulating device and are preferably connected directly downstream of a jet decomposing device in the flow direction.
In order for the Strahlraguliereinrichtung can mix the coming of the jet disintegrating single rays particularly well with air, it is advantageous if the Strahlreguliereinrichtung has several inserts, which are formed grid or net-like and have at intersection node crossing webs.
In this case, a preferred embodiment according to the invention provides that the preferably ventilated jet regulator has an inflow-side jet decomposing device and a downstream downstream Strahlreguliereinrichtung and that the Strahlreguliereinrichtung optionally downstream of a flow rectifier downstream.
Thus, the air flowing into the housing interior can pass well the pin rows and thus the air sucked in by the aerator can spread well over the entire cross section of the jet regulator housing, it is useful if multiple rows of parallel pins are provided and if the pins of the outer pin rows in comparison preferably have a smaller longitudinal extent to the pins of the inner pin rows and / or a greater distance from each other to have.
The invention will be described in more detail below with reference to a preferred embodiment. Further features according to the invention will become apparent from the following drawings in conjunction with the claims and the description.
