Due to the arrangement of the mounting holes outside, so above or below the fitting, which is located between the mounting options for the fitting, the attachment to the wall or masonry can also be done with built-in fitting. As a result, the installation effort can be reduced and the assembly of the frame in the wall opening can be simplified. The inserted fastener may e.g. a screw, masonry nail or masonry anchor. The choice depends on the wall material. The fastener connects the frame, the retaining plate and the surrounding wall with each other.
