Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Unterstützungsvorrichtung zur Unterstützung eines Kfz-Akkumulators oder eines Verbrennungsmotors eines Kraftfahrzeugs, der von einem Kfz-Bordnetz sowie einem Kfz-Starter bzw. von einem Beschleunigungswunsch belastet wird. Die Unterstützungsvorrichtung umfasst: einen Temporärenergiespeicher und eine Ankopplungseinrichtung, die zwischen dem Temporärspeicher und einer Energieabgabestelle geschaltet ist, die zum Anschluss an den Kfz-Starter (und somit an den Verbrennungsmotor) eingerichtet ist. Der Temporärenergiespeicher ist eingerichtet ist, zumindest einen Anteil der in dem Temporärenergiespeicher zwischengespeicherten Energie über die Ankopplungseinrichtung und die Energieabgabestelle an den Kfz-Starter abzugeben. Die Ankopplungseinrichtung umfasst einen Triggeranschluss, der zum Empfang eines Startsignals eingerichtet ist, wobei die Ankopplungseinrichtung eingerichtet ist, eine energieübertragende Verbindung zwischen Energieabgabestelle und Temporärenergiespeicher in Reaktion auf ein an dem Triggeranschluss anliegendem Signal herzustellen. Die Unterstützungsvorrichtung umfasst eine Ladevorrichtung, die mit dem Temporärenergiespeicher verbunden ist und eingerichtet ist, Energie von dem Kraftfahrzeug zu beziehen und an den Temporärenergiespeicher weiterzuleiten. Ferner betrifft die Erfindung ein Verfahren zur Unterstützung, bei dem eine Temporärenergiequelle Energie an einen Starter abgibt, wenn der Startvorgang durchgeführt wird, zusätzlich zu dem Kfz-Akkumulator, der den Starter antreibt, sowie zur Unterstützung des Verbrennungsmotors bei Beschleunigungsvorgängen. Die Temporärenergiequelle wird aufgeladen, wenn keine Unterstützung vorliegt.

The temporary energy storage device is set up to deliver at least a portion of the energy temporarily stored in the temporary energy store via the coupling device and the energy delivery point to the motor vehicle starter. The coupling device comprises a trigger connection which is set up to receive a start signal, wherein the coupling device is set up to establish a power-transmitting connection between the energy delivery point and the temporary energy storage in response to a signal applied to the trigger connection. The assistance device comprises a charging device which is connected to the temporary energy storage and is adapted to draw energy from the motor vehicle and forward it to the temporary energy storage. Further, the invention relates to a method of assistance in which a temporary power source supplies power to a starter when the starting operation is performed, in addition to the automotive battery that drives the starter and to assist the internal combustion engine in accelerating operations. The temporary power source is charged when there is no support.
