Abstract

Die Erfindung befasst sich mit einer sanitären Funktionseinheit mit einem Einsetzgehäuse, das in ein hülsenförmiges Auslaufmundstück einsetzbar und darin gehalten ist, welches Auslaufmundstück am Auslaufende einer sanitären Auslaufarmatur lösbar befestigbar ist. Für die erfindungsgemäße Funktionseinheit ist kennzeichnend, dass der abströmseitige Stirnrand des hülsenförmigen Auslaufmundstücks über die abströmseitige Stirnebene der Funktionseinheit vorsteht und als eine vorstehende Abtropfkante ausgestaltet ist. Weist die sanitäre Funktionseinheit stattdessen ein Einsetzgehäuse auf, das unmittelbar oder unter Zuhilfenahme eines Zwischenhalters in das Auslaufende (8) einer sanitären Auslaufarmatur (9) einsetzbar und dort lösbar gehalten ist, sieht die erfindungsgemäße Lösung vor, dass die abströmseitige Stirnebene der Funktionseinheit (2) durch eine hülsenförmige Ringwandung (14) am Einsetzgehäuse oder am Zwischenhalter definiert ist, die als eine über das Auslaufende (8) der sanitären Auslaufarmatur (9) vorstehende Abtropfkante ausgestaltet ist. Mit Hilfe der als Abtropfkante dienenden Ringwandung (14) wird ein Übertreten von Wassertropfen auf den Außenumfang der Auslaufarmatur (9) verhindert, eine sichtbar störende Tropfenspur vermieden und insbesondere auch bei einer sensorbetätigten Auslaufarmatur dadurch bedingten Funktionsstörungen mit Sicherheit entgegengewirkt (vgl. Fig. 2).

The invention relates to a sanitary functional unit with an insertion housing, which is insertable and held in a sleeve-shaped outlet nozzle, which outlet nozzle is detachably fastened at the outlet end of a sanitary outlet fitting. It is characteristic of the functional unit according to the invention that the outflow-side end edge of the sleeve-shaped outlet mouthpiece projects beyond the downstream end face of the functional unit and is configured as a protruding drip edge. If the sanitary functional unit instead has an insertion housing which can be inserted directly and with the aid of an intermediate holder into the outlet end (8) of a sanitary outlet fitting (9) and held detachably there, the solution according to the invention provides that the downstream end plane of the functional unit (2) is defined by a sleeve-shaped annular wall (14) on the insert housing or on the intermediate holder, which is configured as a draining edge projecting beyond the outlet end (8) of the sanitary outlet fitting (9). With the help of the drip edge serving as the annular wall (14) a trespassing of water droplets on the outer circumference of the outlet fitting (9) is prevented, a visibly disturbing droplet trace avoided and in particular with a sensor-operated outlet fitting thereby caused malfunction countered with certainty (see Fig. 2) ,
