Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Beförderungsvorrichtung nach Anspruch 1.The invention relates to a conveying device according to claim 1.

Conveyors of this type are escalators and moving walks, which have an endless arrangement of treads or tread plates. Adjacent to the extending in the conveying direction longitudinal sides of an endless arrangement of treads or treads are lateral or patch balustrades with handrails, on which people who are on the tread plates or treads can hold. The endless arrangement with the tread plates or treads and the handrails are driven and driven at the same time and in advance or synchronously.

There is often a need or desire to increase the transport capacity of such conveyors.

The simplest solution that offers itself is to increase the width of the treads or tread plates transversely to the conveying direction and thus the mutual distance of the two lateral balustrades. However, this solution is generally not feasible because safety regulations limit the mutual distance of the side balustrades to a maximum permissible value, which is to ensure that people on the treads or tread plates can hold or support at the same time on both side handrails or balustrades ,

Another arrangement for increasing the transport capacity of such a conveying device is known from JP9-110350-A known. There, in addition to the first endless arrangement of treads or tread plates, a second endless arrangement of treads or tread plates is provided which, with the exception of an access area and an exit area, extends parallel and immediately adjacent to the first endless arrangement. The second endless assembly of treads has a faster operating motor than the first endless assembly. A first balustrade with handrail is located on the longitudinal side of the first endless assembly, which faces away from the second endless assembly. A second balustrade with handrail is located on the longitudinal side of the second endless assembly, which faces away from the first endless assembly. Between the two endless arrangements of steps or plates or pallets there is no balustrade and no otherwise required handrail. It is provided that hurried persons enter the tread elements of the first endless arrangement in the access area, then change or jump onto the treads or tread plates of the second endless arrangement and finally return to treads or tread plates of the first endless arrangement in the exit area. This greatly increases the risk of accidents and is unacceptable to the elderly. Persons who are not in a hurry also remain on the tread plates or treads of the first endless assembly and are overtaken by those on the second endless assembly. This arrangement has several disadvantages. On the one hand, it should be difficult to keep both endless arrangements so narrow that the prescribed maximum width is not exceeded. It would be difficult anyway to support themselves laterally with both hands, since presumably the handrail of the second endless arrangement is driven off faster than the handrail of the first endless arrangement or escalator. In addition, will Here, too, the total transport capacity through the access area and the exit area, both of which have only the width of the first endless arrangement limited. Finally, the accident risk should be relatively large.

The object of the invention is therefore to propose an improved conveying device of the type mentioned, with which in a simple manner and in compliance with safety regulations, the transport capacity can be increased and still a material saving and cost savings can be achieved.

The solution of this object is achieved according to the invention by the features of independent claim 1. Preferred developments of the invention are described by the dependent claims.

The new conveyor usually serves to carry people and has an endless arrangement of treads or treads. This endless arrangement can be driven by drive means in at least one or both conveying directions. Adjacent to a first longitudinal side of the first endless arrangement of steps or plates or pallets, a first lateral balustrade is provided, the above contains a drivable in the conveying direction, leading, first handrail. Adjacent to the second longitudinal side of the first endless assembly is a second lateral balustrade, also provided with a drivable in the conveying direction, leading, second handrail.

The conveying device comprises an additional endless arrangement with tread plates or treads. This additional endless arrangement is arranged parallel to the first endless arrangement and preferably by the existing drive means drivable in the conveying direction, and simultaneously with the first endless arrangement. The second lateral balustrade mentioned above is designed as Mittelbalustrade or Mittenbalustrade. It is arranged between the second longitudinal side of the first endless assembly and a first longitudinal side of the second endless assembly. This middle balustrade can therefore be used both by persons on the first endless arrangement and by persons on the second endless arrangement. A third lateral balustrade is normally disposed on a second longitudinal side of the second endless array of treads opposed to the first longitudinal side thereof. This third balustrade has a third handrail, which is normally drivable in the conveying direction simultaneously with the second handrail. Such an escalator is off WO 2007/107086 A known.

According to the invention, the two endless arrangements can be driven not only simultaneously and at the same time but also synchronously, the first endless arrangement, the additional endless arrangement and the three handrails having approximately the same speed. The two endless arrangements have the same direction of travel and the three associated handrails also have the same direction of travel. The three handrails slide or run synchronously with each other and have the same or the same handrail speed. Since the second handrail can be used by persons on both endless arrangements, according to the invention three handrails are used for two endless arrangements.

With little need for transport capacity and one of the transport arrangements can be decoupled from the drive means and thus shut down. In addition, a drive can be electrically disconnected or switched off or on Crawl be switched. For this purpose, a clutch (eg a clutch), a separator or a connection device for disengaging or separating and engaging or engaging can be provided.

an embodiment of a conveying device according to the invention, as seen in the conveying direction, partly in section.

In the Fig. 1 This known conveyor is an escalator 10. This escalator 10 carries persons or possibly hand luggage and small goods in a transport direction from a lower level E1 up to an upper level E2. Typically, such escalators have 10 controllable or reversible drives, so that the escalator 10 can alternatively also carry people from the upper level E2 down to the lower level E1.

The escalator 10 has a first endless arrangement 12.1 with a multiplicity of tread elements or treads 14.1, wherein each tread element 14.1 has a setting step part 16.1 and a tread plate 18.1. The endless assembly 12.1 is driven by the drive or by the drive means (not shown).

Paletten 12.1 antreibbar. On a first longitudinal side of the endless arrangement of steps or pallets 12.1 there is a first balustrade 20.1, and on a second side opposite the first longitudinal side Long side of the endless assembly 12.1 is a second balustrade 20.2. The balustrades 20.1 and 20.2 are at the top with a first handrail 22.1 and a second handrail 22.2 (in Fig. 1 not visible). The handrails 22.1 and 22.2 are simultaneously and in the same direction (direction of travel or conveying direction called) as the endless arrangement of stages or pallets 12.1 drivable.

Conveyor devices in the form of moving walkways also have endless arrangements with tread elements or steps or pallets, as well as balustrades arranged on their longitudinal sides. The tread elements of the moving walks include tread plates or tread pallets but no riser parts.

Fig. 2 shows an embodiment of the conveying device 10 according to the invention. This conveying device has a first endless arrangement of steps or pallets 12.1 and a second endless arrangement of steps or pallets 12.2. In Fig. 2 are from the first endless assembly 12.1 a tread element 14.1 and of the second endless assembly 12.2, a tread element 14.2 shown. Of the tread elements 14.1 and 14.2 are riser parts 16.1 and 16.2, visible as surfaces with grooves and projections, while tread plates or treads 18.1 and 18.2 are directed horizontally (perpendicular to the plane of the drawing) and therefore are visible only as lines.

To the left of the first endless arrangement of steps or pallets 12.1, there is a first balustrade 20.1, which is provided at the top with a first handrail 22.1. The first balustrade 20.1 is stationary, and the first handrail 22.1 is drivable like the first endless arrangement of steps or pallets 12.1. Sideways, in Fig. 2 to the right of the first endless assembly 12.1, there is the second balustrade 20.2, here as Mittelbalustrade or Mittenbalustrade is formed and the first endless assembly 12.1 separates from the second endless assembly 12.2. The second, central balustrade 20.2 is provided at the top with the second handrail 22.2. The second balustrade 20.2 is stationary, and the second handrail 22.2 is drivable as the endless assemblies 12.1 or 12.2.

Paletten 12.2.Sideways, in Fig. 2 To the right of the second endless arrangement of steps or pallets 12.2 is a third balustrade 20.3, which is provided at the top with a third handrail 22.3. The third balustrade 20.3 is stationary, and the third handrail 22.3 is drivable as the second endless arrangement of stages or pallets 12.2.

Antriebseinheiten, also Motor und Bremse plus Kupplung, einsetzbar. The conveying devices according to the invention have the advantage that they significantly increase the conveying capacity. The technical, material and mechanical effort and the workload but are significantly smaller than two conventional transport devices. Moreover, a common drive or drive block or gear block or main gear or main gearbox housing can be used. In addition, main gear or pinion with flanged drive units or motors can be used. It is also a main gear with a drive alignment transverse or upright to the direction of travel used. Furthermore, a main gearbox with longitudinally flanged or standangeangeflanschten motor (s) or drive units, ie motor and brake plus clutch can be used. In addition, the space requirement is much lower, since the endless arrangements are arranged very close to each other and form a compact unit. Furthermore, no space is given away and optimum space utilization and electrical power utilization is achieved. The efficiency of the conveyor (s) is increased and the power curve or capacity increases. Better use of the used material or materials and the supplied energy or driving force is given.

In addition, the regulations are met, which require a maximum distance (typically maximum 110cm) of the side balustrades.
