Abstract
Constructive form applied to set of cutlery, specially referring to the differential constructive form with which the present cutlery is equipped, in a way that they can be supported on themselves, without, though, the blade (3) of the knife (12), the ladle (2) of the spoon (6) and the teeth (1) of the fork (5) touching the table (4), just like if they were on an inlaid cutlery repose.
Description
- The following descriptive report for the present invention application refers to the development of the constructive form applied to set of cutlery, specially referring to the differential constructive form with which the present cutlery is equipped, in a way that they can be supported on themselves, without, though, the lamina of the knife, the conch of the spoon and the teeth of the fork touching the table, just like if they were on an inlaid cutlery repose.
- Important accessories for cutlery are the called reposes, which means an article made of some material, existing reposes made of noble materials as gold and silver. The objective of the cutlery repose is maintaining the order on the table when serving and not letting the extremities, teeth, cutting lamina and conch, of the fork, knife and spoon, respectively, touch the table surface (towel, placemat set etc.)
- In searches made on the state of the art relatively to the field in question, particularly to the class A47J 43/28, where found many documents of patent involving cutlery and correlatives. Among the most significant documents, are the following:
- MU 6.601.679, referring to a metallic rod with a section preferably rounded, which is folded until forming a pair of rounded rings (1) parallels and opposed, enough spaced between each other, as a "clip" to be applied under certain pressure against the board of the recipients, having one of these rings (1) legs (2) and (3) folded orthogonally in form of steps through which is supported against the board of the recipient and presenting superiorly vertical legs (5) which are interconnected by a lane with frizzes or humps (6) among which are formed some depressions (7) that serve as an accommodation for the handle of the cutlery.
- MU 8.301.980, referring to the constructive disposition introduced in cutlery repose for tables composed by the procedure of integration of two triangular sheets that can be of any geometric figure that ensures that the device will stay stopped and will not roll on the table, with orifices located in the central region next to the superior part, which accommodate a cylindrical bar that can be welded or fixed under pressure that serves as a support for the cutlery, such as the referred device of reposing the cutlery for tables can be made of stainless steel silver tin brass cooper plastic gold acrylic wood aluminum glass or the combination between them.
- As it can be seen, the cutlery are made of many forms, dimensions, combination of materials, colors etc., but, although, referring to the present matter, all of them are supported directly on the table's surface, towel or the kind. In order to avoid it, were created the cutlery reposes, which are articles with a substantial variety of forms and materials, where the cutlery rest supported in a way that keeps them away from the table, and organizes.
- So, due to the considerations related to the state of the art previously referred, one of the objectives of the present invention application is the development of a constructive form applied to set of cutlery, where have occurred a complete change on the form of the cutlery, in a way that the teeth of the fork, the conch of the spoon and the lamina of the knife never touch the table, towel or the kind. This type of construction is especially interesting, because:
- Dispenses the use of any kind of repose for cutlery, since the cutlery by itself has a geometric form specific, dispensing the accessory;
- The form applied to the cutlery innovates completely the traditional view of cutlery, where the cutlery only have design, since its function would be previously determined;
- Through the modification of the cutlery's geometry, the own cutlery can maintain a distance to the table, just like if it was on a repose inlaid in the cutlery.
- The characterization of the present document for the patent of invention now purposed is made though drawings representing the constructive form applied to cutlery, in a way that the set of cutlery can be totally reproduced by the proper technique, permitting full characterization of the functionality of the object under demand.
- The figures elaborated, which express the best or preferential mode for carrying out the product here idealized, are the base of the descriptive part of the report, through a detailed and consecutive numeration, where can be clarified some aspects that could be implicit by the representation adopted, in a way that determines clearly the protection demanded.
- These figures are only illustrative, they can present some variations, since it does not escape from the demanded in the beginning.
- In this case, there is:
-
FIGURE 1 illustrates a representation in perspective of the set of cutlery purposed, showing the constructive modification applied in each one of these individual elements, forming a line of objects and; -
FIGURE 2 illustrates the frontal orthogonal representation of the set of cutlery, where there is a continuous line representing any support surface, as a table, in a way that shows how the geometric change acts. - The invention purposed comprehends a set of cutlery made in a way that they can stay supported on themselves in a certain height of a surface wherein they are, in a way that the teeth of the
fork 1, the conch of the spoon 2 and the lamina of theknife 3 do not touch thesurface 4, that can be, for example, a table, a towel or other article of furniture. - For making this function, the set of cutlery had its geometry of construction changed, in a way that has been produced on the
handle 5 of thefork 1 and on thehandle 6 of the spoon 2, a strong fold almost sheering 7 making a point of support 8 whereby the fork and the spoon are supported in a certain height 9 from the table'ssurface 4. - The
knife 12 has another geometry, comparing to the spoon and the fork, but it maintains the same inventive unity, through the formation of asupport 10 produced on thethickening 11 that divides thehandle 13 from thelamina 3, producing, also, because of this geometric disposition of a long cutting in form of half-moon 14 that starts in thesupport 10 and finishes in the part of the knife's lamina, where, without this cutting, it would lose the uniformity of the knife's design, generating a opposition between the lamina and the support.
Claims (4)
- - CONSTRUCTIVE FORM APPLIED TO SET OF CUTLERY,
characterized by the fact of comprehending a set of cutlery, made in a way that they stay supported in themselves in a certain height from a surface where they rest, in a way that the teeth of the fork 1, the conch of the spoon 2 and the lamina of the knife 3 do not touch the surface 4 that can be, for example, a table, or another article of furniture. - - CONSTRUCTIVE FORM APPLIED TO SET OF CUTLERY , according to the claim 1 and characterized by the fact that the set of cutlery has its geometry of construction changed, in a way that has been produced in the handle 5 of the fork 1 and in the handle 6 of the spoon 2 a strong fold almost sheering 7 forming a point of support 8 whereby the fork and the spoon are supported in a certain height 9 from the table's surface 4.
- - CONSTRUCTIVE FORM APPLIED TO SET OF CUTLERY, according to the claim 2 and characterized by the fact that the knife 12 has another geometry comparing to the spoon and the fork, but it maintains the same inventive unity, through the formation of a support 10 produced on the thickening 11 that divides the handle 13 from the lamina 3, producing, also, because of this geometric disposition of a long cutting in form of half-moon 14 that starts in the support 10 and finishes in the part of the knife's lamina.
- - CONSTRUCTIVE FORM APPLIED TO SET OF CUTLERY, according to the claim 3 and characterized by the fact that the knife 12, when having the support 10 is capable of staying in a vertical position in relation to the table's plan 4, maintaining the lamina 3 in a certain height 15 from the referred surface.
