Abstract

The device (100) has a brush body (12) moved in upward and downward directions. Description

The invention relates to a brush device for body care and massage, in particular for back washing and massage, with an upwardly and downwardly movable brush body.

Devices of the type mentioned are known to those skilled in the various embodiments and familiar.

Increased public health awareness and the fact that a significant portion of the population is subject to increased occupational demands have led to an increased demand for products that aid in loosening and strengthening the musculature as well as promoting the circulation of the human body are. In addition, of course, many consumers still have the basic need to pay more attention to personal care. A device that can fulfill this dual function is known to be the brush. The body care or body massage with a brush device often takes place in a shower facility. Conventional shower facilities, for example, the shower cubicle in a bathroom or shared shower rooms, such as those found in public sports halls. Other shower facilities can be freestanding showers, often found in public baths or beach showers. To remedy this situation, sees the DE 20 2007 010 270 U1 a brush device for back washing and massage, which consists of a connected to the usual water installation water-powered rotary brush, which in turn is suspended in a wall-mounted rod system and by means of a linen pull up and down is movable.

A disadvantage of this known device, however, is that the up and down movement of the brush by means of a linen pull, d. H. done manually. However, this handling is less suitable for older and infirm people. But otherwise there is a basic need for many people, the care and massage on the body without much effort to accomplish.

It is therefore an object of the invention to develop a brush device of the type mentioned in such a way that it can be operated without physical effort.

This object is achieved with the features of claim 1.

The invention provides that the brush body is coupled with a drive belt which can be moved up and down, which is drivable via a drive motor.

The drive motor may be, for example, an electric motor which is connected to the drive belt via a transmission. The other end of the drive belt is guided around an impeller, so that the drive belt can perform an upward and downward movement even when reversing the direction of movement. The brush body may also be provided within the scope of the invention with a guide wheel which engages in a guide groove of a guide rail such that the guide wheel within the guide groove can be moved up and down. Due to the coupling between the drive belt and brush body, z. B. in the form of a connector, is a synchronous up and down movement of the brush body associated with the motor-driven up and down movement of the drive belt.

The advantage of the invention is that a brush device is provided with an upwardly and downwardly movable brush body. A cumbersome manual handling of the brush body is therefore no longer necessary. Another advantage of the invention lies in the fact that the brush device is composed of components such as drive motor and drive belt, which are commercially available purchasable. In addition, the components mentioned represent low acquisition costs.

Conveniently, the brush body is movable along a guide rail which is arranged parallel to the drive belt and laterally of the drive belt.

In order to intensify the brushing action at one point of the body part, an advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the brush body has at least one brush head which can be set in rotation by a brush drive integrated in the brush body. According to the invention are thus also two overlapping movements provided, namely the linear up and down movement of the brush body and thus also of the brush head and the rotational movement of the same.

In order to increase the care and massage effect of the brush device even further, two brush heads are preferably arranged on the brush body, which form an angle ≤ 180 ° with each other. Conceivable so are between the brush bodies a sharpened, a right, a dull or elongated angle.

A practicable variant of the invention also provides that the brush device is releasably secured to a wall. This takes into account the fact that brush devices are located primarily in shower cubicles. Due to the possibility of detachable attachment of the brush device and the prerequisite is created to use the brush device according to the invention as a retrofit kit for already installed shower facilities.

In order to give the brush device a contemporary design and also to protect it from splashes and external influences, a further advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the device is integrated into a protective box which is provided with at least one longitudinal opening, wherein the brush head outside of the protective box is arranged in front of the longitudinal opening. With the exception of the brush head so the brush device is surrounded by a wall. In the case that the brush device is mounted on a wall of a shower, this shower wall acts as part of the wall of the protective box. In this case, the protective box is in the form of a body whose walls serve as floor, side walls, front wall and roof. Preferably, the protective case is made of glass and / or plastic.

It is also advantageous that the brush body is provided with a ring, through which the guide rail is feasible.
