Heizkessel, umfassend ein eine Brennkammer (1) umschließendes Gehäuse (2) mit einem Öffnungsbereich (3), der mit einem Öffnungsverschluss (4) verschließbar ausgebildet ist, wobei der Öffnungsverschluss (4) aus einem ersten, ringförmigen, am Gehäuse (2) befestigbaren Teil (5) und einem zweiten, einen Brennerkopf (6) für wahlweise flüssige oder gasförmige Brennstoffe aufnehmenden, deckelartigen Teil (7) gebildet ist, wobei der Brennerkopf (6) pneumatisch mit einem am Öffnungsverschluss (4) angeordneten Gebläse (8) verbunden ist,
