La présence de la chambre creuse, appliquée en décalage par rapport à la partie montante, combinée au fait que la chambre creuse est en communication avec la partie montante, permet de ne pas voir directement la conduite de drainage à travers la partie montante tout en permettant l'évacuation des eaux.
