Claims (10)

  1. Bremsvorrichtung (4) für den Baum eines Segelboots, die einen mit Befestigungsmitteln (5) vor allem am Baum (2) oder an einem Steuertau (10) ausgestatteten Körper (12) umfasst und Bremsmittel eines Haupttaus (6), dessen Enden an zwei Punkten, die auf der einen und der anderen Seite der mittleren Längsachse des Segelboots angeordnet sind, befestigt oder gelenkt sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Bremsmittel mindestens eine erste Führungsöffnung (14, 15, 16) einer Schlinge (20) des Haupttaus (6) umfassen, die in den Körper (12) eingearbeitet ist, und eine zweite Öffnung (18), die etwa parallel zur ersten Öffnung (14, 15, 16) in den Körper (12) eingearbeitet ist und in deren Innerem ein Element (19) hervorragt, das dazu bestimmt ist, die Schlinge (20) durch Führen derselben um es zurückzuhalten.
  2. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das hervorstehende Element (19) von einem Finger gebildet wird, der in das Innere der zweiten Öffnung (18) von der Seite, die der ersten Öffnung (14, 25, 16) gegenüberliegt, hervorsteht, wobei die Länge des Fingers (19) gemäß der Achse des Elements (19) kleiner ist als die Länge der zweiten Öffnung (18).
  3. Bremsvorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 und 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Körper (12) mindestens zwei Führungsöffnungen (14, 15, 16) der Schlinge (20) des Haupttaus (6) umfasst, die etwa parallel zueinander sind.
  4. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Körper (12) drei Führungsöffnungen (14, 15, 16) der Schlinge (20) des Haupttaus (6) umfasst.
  5. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 und 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Körper (12) länglich und flach geformt ist, wobei die Führngsöffnungen (14, 15, 16) der Schlinge (20) des Haupttaus (6) gemäß der mittleren Längsachse (A) des Körpers (12) im Verhältnis zueinander versetzt und auf dieser Achse (A) zentriert sind.
  6. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Führungsöffnung (14, 15, 16) länglich geformt ist, wobei die von der Öffnung definierte Achse etwa senkrecht zur mittleren Längsachse (A) des Körpers (12) ist.
  7. Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 5 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Befestigungsmittel (5) an einem Ende des Körpers (12) angeordnet und auf der mittleren Längsachse (A) desselben zentriert sind.
  8. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sich die zweite Öffnung (18) auf der Seite des Endes des Körpers befindet, die die Befestigungsmittel (5) umfasst.
  9. Verfahren zur Verwendung der Bremsvorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es die folgenden Schritte umfasst:
    - einen ersten Schritt der Bildung einer Schlinge (20) mit dem Haupttau (6),
    - einen zweiten Schritt des Führens der Schlinge (20) in mindestens eine Führungsöffnung (14, 15, 16) des Körpers (12),
    - einen dritten Schritt des Führens der aus der Führungsöffnung (14, 15 16) heraustretenden Schlinge (20) um das hervorstehende Element (19).
  10. Verfahren nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die aus der Führungsöffnung (14, 15, 16) heraustretende Schlinge (20) zwischen dem zweiten und dem dritten Schritt in die zweite Öffnung (18) geführt wird und danach erneut in die Führungsöffnung (14, 15, 16).
