Definitions
- the invention relates to a container according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Such containers which are designed in particular as a folding container, are well known.
- Such containers are formed from a bottom and four circumferentially arranged hinged side walls, which are connected by hinge hinges to the ground and fold inwards.
- the bottom side upwardly projecting frame strips are formed in different heights, so that even a perfect space-saving stacking of the foldable side walls can be made in the direction of the ground.
- Such folding containers have the advantage that folded up for the transport of goods, the side walls and can be locked, however, for the empties return transport the side walls can be folded to save space, so that the transport volume is reduced accordingly.
- Such folding containers are well known.
- Such containers are mainly used for transporting goods to be cooled, in particular frozen goods, meat, seafood, ready meals u. Like., Which, depending on the nature of the goods and the goods handling for adequate cooling over several days or weeks to be taken care of. A prerequisite here is, of course, that the goods cooled, so deep frozen or possibly with ice u. Like., Is stored in the container. For this purpose, it is known to form the container thermally insulating. In most cases, special plastic manufacturing processes are used, such as in accordance with DE 10 2005 022 328 A1 , In this prior art, the container is manufactured by injection molding, wherein a special shape is used, in which corresponding mold parts are designed to increase the mold cavity displaced.
- foaming propellants can be used here or special plastic granules and injection molding machines, which already allow pre-foaming of the plastic melt before injection into the injection mold.
- the inventors have now recognized that a thermal insulation even with higher efficiency in a simple manner can also be generated by working with hollow chambers within the side walls and possibly also the soil and thereby exploits the air as an insulator. This is surprising because hitherto the use of expanded plastic materials for thermal insulation has been proposed. However, the inventors have recognized that with air as an insulator in particular a simple sidewall design and thus container manufacturing can be made and indeed by the fact that a container with double-walled sidewall structure is produced, in which the two walls between them define suitable hollow chambers for thermal insulation, the are preferably closed as insulating over the entire circumference.
- the inventive measures results in a simple manner producible and otherwise comparatively simple constructed thermally insulating container for the transport of goods and storage, as a double-walled constructed side wall with corresponding cavity or corresponding hollow chambers in injection molding simple manner either by form of sword or by Gas injection is produced.
- the double-walled construction not only gives a well stiffened sidewall construction but also brings a good thermal insulation, which is based on the findings of the inventors even on the insulating with sidewalls with expanded plastic.
- the hollow chamber formation be it by a single hollow chamber or by a plurality of juxtaposed and / or superimposed hollow chambers substantially over the entire length of the side wall and advantageously also substantially over the entire height with the exception of any existing grip recesses in the side wall, so that overall a very good thermal insulation can be achieved over the entire circumference.
- the double wall structures of the side walls can be stiffened by horizontally and / or vertically extending bracing strips which bridge the inner and outer walls.
- the upper in the stack last Kirse edge of the container with stiffening ribs or stiffening struts, preferably be provided in a horizontal orientation, which form a recess between them, which can also be designed as a closed hollow chamber if necessary.
- the hollow chambers through the inner and outer walls are of course also top and bottom and laterally, so a total of closed.
- Fig. 1 shows a designated generally by 1 container, which is designed as a folding container.
- the container 1 comprises a designated bottom 2 and four side walls, which are formed here in the specific embodiment as hinged side walls 3-6, which in the illustrated embodiment by Fig. 2 hinges better visible 7 hinged on the bottom 2 are attached.
- 8-11 protruding tabs are arranged or formed on the bottom 2 upwards, which have different height and have plug-in parts 12 to form hinge joints, so that the corresponding plugged side walls -6 as shown in Fig. 2 one above the other on the floor 2 can be folded.
- Such folding container with hinged side walls, in particular with hinge joint parts in the bottom side provided strips and at the lower edges of the hinged side walls are well known, so that the structure does not need to be described in detail here.
- Theme of the invention is the formation of such a container with bottom and four circumferential side walls as a thermally insulating container for the transport of refrigerated goods in particular, such as food, such as meat, seafood u. like. More.
- the side walls acc. the 4 and 5 double-walled, namely with an inner wall 14 and an outer wall 15, which enclose between them a cavity 16 which is filled with air.
- Air is known to be a good insulator, because thermal bridges or thermally conductive elements are not present.
- Such a construction of a side wall in a double-walled structure with spaced walls 14 and 15 and at least one arranged therebetween and preferably closed on all sides cavity 16 thus forms a thermally very well insulating side wall, which otherwise has a simple structure and is material-saving and easy to manufacture.
- the two walls of the double wall construction be kept very thin, each with a thickness in the range of 1-3 mm, which is material-saving.
- the 4 and 5 extends over most of the height of the side wall of the formed from the walls 14 and 15 double wall construction with thermo-insulating properties, which is here designed and formed in an upper wall portion 17.
- the cavity 16 extends over the entire length of the side wall and over a large part of the height of the side wall, which is graphically in Fig. 4 due to the not to scale scale representation comes to fruition.
- it is sufficient but to interpret the height of the hollow chamber to a significant height sufficient to store the goods to be transported cool for a predetermined time and keep cool.
- a plurality of juxtaposed and / or stacked and preferably also closed cavities 16 may be provided, which are by vertical and / or horizontal webs, which bridge the walls 14 and 15, are designed.
- the formation of the or the cavities 16 takes place in the embodiment according to Fig. 4 by mold cores, not shown, which engage in a conventional injection mold, so that after injection of the plastic material into the injection mold, the walls 14 and 15 and the remaining parts of the side wall are formed. After removal of the mandrels or form swords down the then or the cavities arise 16.
- This embodiment has the advantage that prevail over the side wall substantially the same side wall thickness, which is advantageous in the case of cooling of the injection molded part, since it is not too Shrinkage spaces during the inevitable cooling shrinking process comes.
- a lower part 18 is prepared separately, advantageously again by injection molding, which also has the side wall hinge hinge part 7, as described above, provided with corresponding bottom side, in particular hook-shaped hinge hinge parts 12 can be assembled to form the hinge mechanism.
- hinge hinges are known from the prior art, so that they need not be described separately and described in detail and presented.
- Sidewall upper part 17 and side wall lower part 18 are placed on each other after molding and connected to each other by welding to the side wall, such as Fig. 5 shows.
- the weld is shown at 19.
- the welding can be done by suitable welding methods, such as friction welding, Ultrasonic welding and hot welding. Instead of welding, but also a bonding of both parts can be done.
- both parts can also be plugged together and locked by a suitable plug connection.
- a corresponding cavity 20 is also provided in the lower part 18, which is suitable but not mandatory.
- the upwardly facing pin 21 of the hinge joint part 7 is expediently hollow, so that a correspondingly good thermal insulation is also provided on the lower part 18.
- the cavity 16 expediently extends substantially as far as the upper edge of the side wall in order to ensure a corresponding thermal insulation over the substantially entire height.
- the upper edge of the side wall may be provided with an open towards the outside further recess 23 which is formed by horizontal webs 24 and 25 which are spaced from each other. These transversely directed webs form stiffened contact surfaces 26, which is particularly important for stackable containers, so that enclerosisend many containers can be taken over each other without deformation. If necessary, the recess 23 which is open towards the outer wall can also be closed.
- the bottom 2 may be formed with one or more corresponding hollow chambers or cavities, in order to teach also on the bottom side a thermal insulation. This can then be in the above related to the sidewall design happen way. It therefore does not require a separate representation and graphic illustration of such a bottom wall construction.
- the uprights 8-11 may be formed hollow for receiving the side walls, wherein the in Fig. 3 downwardly open hollow chamber 27 may also be closed down, if this is also a thermal insulation is desired, which is particularly advantageous if the bottom 2 is designed with one or more hollow chambers for the purpose of thermal insulation.
- each side wall part of the upper part 17 and lower part 18 can take place in one and the same injection mold, although separated from each other, so that both side wall top 17 and side wall bottom 18 can be injection-molded simultaneously in an injection mold. If necessary, it is possible to connect the two parts via film hinges, so that they are connected to each other during removal with the injection mold via the film hinge. It can then take place immediately merging both side wall parts to form the side wall.

Description
The invention relates to a container according to the preamble of
Such containers, which are designed in particular as a folding container, are well known.

The inventors have now recognized that a thermal insulation even with higher efficiency in a simple manner can also be generated by working with hollow chambers within the side walls and possibly also the soil and thereby exploits the air as an insulator.
The object to provide a thermally insulating container with a simple structure and with good insulation is achieved in accordance with the invention by the measures contained in
The inventive measures results in a simple manner producible and otherwise comparatively simple constructed thermally insulating container for the transport of goods and storage, as a double-walled constructed side wall with corresponding cavity or corresponding hollow chambers in injection molding simple manner either by form of sword or by Gas injection is produced. The double-walled construction not only gives a well stiffened sidewall construction but also brings a good thermal insulation, which is based on the findings of the inventors even on the insulating with sidewalls with expanded plastic.
Advantageously, the hollow chamber formation, be it by a single hollow chamber or by a plurality of juxtaposed and / or superimposed hollow chambers substantially over the entire length of the side wall and advantageously also substantially over the entire height with the exception of any existing grip recesses in the side wall, so that overall a very good thermal insulation can be achieved over the entire circumference.
According to the invention, the production of the side walls with form swords or mandrels in two-part form with a side wall top and side wall base, wherein on the side wall lower part those parts are arranged, which interacted to form the hinged joint with the ground. Particularly in the case of large-area side walls, the double wall structures of the side walls can be stiffened by horizontally and / or vertically extending bracing strips which bridge the inner and outer walls. In particular, the upper in the stack lastauftragene edge of the container with stiffening ribs or stiffening struts, preferably be provided in a horizontal orientation, which form a recess between them, which can also be designed as a closed hollow chamber if necessary. For the isolation of closed hollow chambers are essential, in the case of the side walls, the hollow chambers through the inner and outer walls are of course also top and bottom and laterally, so a total of closed.
