Description

The present invention relates to an intercirculation zone comprising two end walls of two successive cars of a railway vehicle.

Such an intercirculation zone is known from the document FR 2786452 A1 . Passenger rail vehicles are commonly formed from a succession of cars communicating with each other. For this purpose, a gangway is arranged between the adjacent ends of two successive cars. When crossing in curves, the gangway must be able to deform. Thus, it is known to use a bellows whose ends are connected to successive cars to delimit the gangway. The passengers can then circulate through the bellows forming a sealed corridor.

In high-speed trains, the bellows consists of a single closed profile, of rubber, of small thickness, this being of the order of 1.5 mm. This bellows is not totally satisfactory from an acoustic point of view.

In addition, there are double skin bellows, the skins each being made of a cloth coated with rubber. The two skins form successive undulations and present in themselves a form of bellows. The two skins are held together by connections arranged at all the vertices of the undulations opposite the two skins.

This solution is also imperfect from an acoustic point of view.

The invention aims to provide a gusset intercirculation which has good sound insulation properties, while ensuring a large intercirculation width and preserve the compression capacity and deformation in deflection of the gangway.

To this end, the object of the invention is to provide a gangway zone according to claim 1. According to particular embodiments, the gangway bellows comprises one or more of the following features:
  • the re-entrant and outgoing corrugations of the outer and inner skins have vertices arranged facing each other in the same plane transverse to the bellows,
  • the two skins are connected to each other at the most at the level of the peaks facing the incoming and outgoing corrugations,
  • the proportion of corrugations with respect to the outer and inner skins connected to each other is between 30% and 60% of the total number of corrugations facing each other,
  • the outer and inner skins are connected to one another by hinges extending substantially along the length of the undulations of the two skins,
  • the hinges comprise a first set of knuckles linked to the outer skin and a second set of knuckles linked to the inner skin, the knuckles being inserted and traversed by a rod around which they are each articulated,
  • the outer and inner skins have, each along their edge, a fixing flange protruding respectively outwardly and inside the bellows,
  • the fixing flanges are reported by overmoulding at the edge of the outer and inner skins,
  • the outer and inner skins have the same thickness,
  • the thickness of the outer and inner skins is between 3 and 7 mm,
  • the outer and inner skins have, according to their opposite peripheral edges, assembly plates in which the two skins are compressed against each other,
  • the undulations of the outer and inner skins have a height of between 20 and 35 mm, and
  • the undulations of the outer and inner skins have, at rest, a length of between 20 and 30 mm.

The invention further relates to an intercirculation zone comprising two end walls of two successive cars of a railway vehicle, each defining a passage opening and a gangway bellows as defined above, connected to the two walls between the two openings.

  • la figure 1 est une vue en perspective de la zone d'intercirculation entre deux voitures montrant le soufflet d'intercirculation selon l'invention ;
  • la figure 2 est une vue en coupe longitudinale de la zone d'intercirculation entre deux voitures montrant le soufflet d'intercirculation selon l'invention ;
  • la figure 3 est une vue partielle en coupe à plus grande échelle du soufflet d'intercirculation au repos, c'est-à-dire sans sollicitation axiale ;
  • la figure 4 est une vue en perspective de deux brides de retenue des extrémités du soufflet d'intercirculation ;
The invention will be better understood on reading the description which follows, given solely by way of example, and with reference to the drawings, in which:
  • the figure 1 is a perspective view of the intercirculation zone between two cars showing the gangway bellows according to the invention;
  • the figure 2 is a longitudinal sectional view of the intercirculation zone between two cars showing the gangway bellows according to the invention;
  • the figure 3 is a partial view in section on a larger scale of the gaiter intercirculation rest, that is to say without axial stress;
  • the figure 4 is a perspective view of two retaining flanges of the ends of the gangway bellows;
  • the figure 5 is a view identical to that of the figure 3 the gangway bellows being in its compressed state; and
  • the figure 6 is a view identical to that of the figure 3 , the gangway bellows being in its stretched state.

The intercirculation zone 10 represented on the figure 1 is that of a train consisting of high speed motor cars assembled to each other. Such an intercirculation zone exists between each pair of successive cars. It thus comprises two walls 12, 14 provided at the ends of the two cars. Two openings 16, 18 are delimited through the walls 12, 14 opposite for the movement of passengers. These openings are of generally rectangular shape, the length being arranged vertically.

A bellows 20 according to the invention is disposed between the two openings. It is connected at each of its ends to the end walls 12, 14 and forms with them the interconnection zone 10.

The bellows form a closed contour and thus delimits a closed conduit allowing the movement of passengers. In section, it generally has a shape substantially identical to that of the openings 16, 18 in the extension of which it is installed.

The bellows includes, as illustrated on the figures 2 and 3 , an outer skin 22 and an inner skin 24, both corrugated and bonded to each other by peripheral links spaced longitudinally from one another. The two skins delimit between them an essentially closed sound insulation space 25.

The outer skins 22 and inner 24 have at their two ends peripheral rims 26, 28 respectively outward and re-entrant relative to the bellows itself. The edges are arranged in the same plane and opposed to each other. They are each formed at the end of a flat peripheral edge 30, 32 provided at each end of the two skins. These flat peripheral edges 30, 32 are held together adjacent to each other and together form a cylindrical core 34 of the bellows extending in the middle portion of its thickness along a median plane P. Thus, the two flanges 26, 28 together form a connecting bead 36 projecting radially on either side of the core 34.

De préférence, les rebords de fixation 26, 28 sont rapportés par surmoulage au bord des peaux extérieure 22 et intérieure 24.Preferably, the fixing flanges 26, 28 are attached by overmolding to the edge of the outer skin 22 and inner skin 24.

For the connection of the bellows, the connecting beads 36 are each sandwiched between two connecting flanges. One denoted 38 is integral with each end wall 12, 14 and the other denoted 40A, 40B is attached to the associated end wall.

As illustrated on the figure 2 the flanges 38 delimit a peripheral channel 42 for receiving the rim 26 whose opening is turned inwards.

Chaque canal 44 est propre à recevoir un rebord 28.The reported flanges 40A, 40B, represented alone on the figure 4 , comprise a peripheral channel 44 whose opening is turned towards the outside. Each channel 44 is adapted to receive a flange 28.

The channel 44 is secured to an adjacent peripheral fixing ring 46 which borders the channel 44 along its entire length. The fixing ring 46 is pierced with holes regularly distributed along its length through which are engaged assembly screws 48 screwed into the flanges 38.

A cet effet, le seuil délimité un canal de réception du rebord 28.While the flange 40A forms a closed contour, the flange 40B is interrupted along a lower side to allow the passage of a threshold 50, visible on the figure 1 , which ensures the retention of the bellows in this area. For this purpose, the threshold defines a reception channel of the flange 28.

As illustrated on the figure 3 , the outer skins 22 and inner 24 each have in their middle part the most of their length between the edges 32, 34 of the corrugated areas 52, 54, formed of successive corrugations 56, 58. These corrugations 56, 58 are deported opposite each other on both sides of the median plane P of the thickness of the bellows. They thus extend generally outwardly and inwardly with respect to the flanges 26, 28.

The two skins 22, 24 have the same number of corrugations 56, 58 and are in section symmetrical to each other with respect to the median plane P.

Le nombre d'ondulations est compris entre 8 et 15 et est par exemple égal à 11.The corrugations of the corrugated areas 52, 54 are periodic and are substantially sinusoidal in shape. The number of corrugations is between 8 and 15 and is for example equal to 11.

Thus, the re-entrant 56 and outgoing corrugations 58 of the corrugated areas of the outer skins 22 and inner skins 24 respectively have vertices 60, 62 arranged facing each other in the same plane transverse to the bellows.

The corrugated beaches 52, 54 of the two skins are connected to one another at most at certain vertices 60, 62 facing the incoming and outgoing corrugations. Thus, the outer skins 22 and inner skins 24 are interconnected at only certain vertices 60, 62 of undulations opposite, the other undulations of the two skins remaining separate and free from each other.

Thus, for example, a vertex 60 of about two is linked to the top 62 of the other skin facing the length of the bellows.

Preferably, the proportion of facing corrugations connected to each other is between 30% and 60% and is preferably substantially equal to 40% of the opposing corrugations, so 40 to 70% of the opposing undulations are not related.

The outer skins 22 and inner 24 are connected to one another by hinges 64 extending substantially along the length of the peaks of the undulating faces.

For this purpose, the hinges comprise a first set of knuckles 66 connected to the outer skin 22 and a second set of knuckles 68 connected to the inner skin 24. The knuckles 66, 68 are interposed and articulated around a common shank 70 extending along the entire length of the hinge and engaged through the successive knuckles 66, 68.

The outer skins 22 and inner 24 have the same thickness. Preferably, the thickness of corrugated areas 52, 54 of outer skin 22 and inner skin 24 is between 3 and 7 mm. It is preferably substantially equal to 4.5 mm. Both skins are self-supporting and are made of a suitable rubber. The skins contain only rubber and are devoid of fabrics, or any other matrix, of rubber support.

The corrugations have a height of between 20 and 35 mm and preferably substantially equal to 27 mm. The undulations have, at rest, a length of between 20 and 30 mm.

Thus, the corrugated zones 52, 54 of the bellows have a rest length of substantially 258 mm, the latter being reduced to 190 mm when the bellows is in its compressed state as shown in FIG. figure 5 and reaching 410 mm, when the bellows is in its stretched state as illustrated on the figure 6 .

Because of its double skin, the bellows can be inflated during assembly to reach its installation dimension and facilitate assembly. The passage in mold to form the definitive bellows from the extruded rubber profile forming the corrugated areas 52, 54 makes it possible to integrate a different material addition operation at the periphery of the bellows which forms the connecting bead 36, of hardness and shape adapted to improve the tightness of the assembly on the ends of the cars.

The number of connections between the two skins being reduced, their adverse effect from the point of view of sound insulation is reduced while allowing a good cohesion of the bellows for the curves and the resistance to stresses due to pressure waves.
