Abstract

Description

The present invention relates to a gymnastic apparatus according to the preamble of claim 1.

A generic gymnastic apparatus is known and comprises a rigid bar which has at least two gripping areas for manual holding by a user. In addition, at least two elastic ropes are provided, which are attached to end portions of the rod.

Such gymnastic equipment allows the user to perform numerous exercises, such as those performed for physiotherapy or in the gym. Such exercises increase endurance, strength, coordination and increase the fitness of a user.

An object of the invention is to provide a gymnastic apparatus with which different exercises can be performed. Furthermore, the device should allow depending on the user gymnastic exercises with different force.

This object is achieved by the gymnastic apparatus with the features of claim 1.

Preferred embodiments of the device according to the invention are the subject of the dependent claims and are also explained in the description, in particular in conjunction with the figure.

The gymnastic apparatus of the above type according to the invention is further developed in that for releasably securing the cables to the end portions of the rod fastening means are provided, that the fastening means are adapted for manual release and attachment of the ropes by a user, so that for different exercise exercises ropes with a first elasticity by ropes with one of the first Elasticity different second elasticity of a user of the gymnastic device are interchangeable.

This development is based on the recognition that it is expedient to use ropes with different elasticities for different exercises. As a further advantage of the invention, it can be considered that the gymnastic apparatus is easier to operate in comparison with the prior art.

The elastic ropes can in particular be rubber ropes or bands. Essential here are the elastic properties of the material. The ropes thus act in the manner of expanders. In principle, known elastic materials and semi-finished products can be used for this purpose.

In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the gymnastic apparatus can be disassembled into at least two parts. This allows the gymnastics device to be easily transported and stowed by a user.

This can be achieved in the event that the gymnastic apparatus can be disassembled into two or more parts by means of a screw connection, a snap-in connector and / or a bayonet connection. These three variants allow a quick disassembly or a quick assembly of gymnastic equipment and are also inexpensive to manufacture.

In a further preferred variant, the rod of the gymnastic apparatus is made of an aluminum tube and / or a plastic, in particular a fiberglass composite. It is advantageous that such a rod is lightweight, robust and also inexpensive to manufacture.

In some gymnastics exercises, it proves to be particularly advantageous if the end portions of the rod are rotatable relative to the grip portions. It can in one Variant such a rotation take place only in a limited angular range. In a further variant, a complete revolution of 360 ° about the axis of the rod can be performed. This extends the number of practicable exercises and increases the scope of the gymnastic apparatus.

For better gripping of the gymnastic apparatus, the grip areas of the bar in a preferred embodiment of the invention have a rubber casing. In this case, other materials, such as plastics, cork or corrugated metal may be used. It is also possible that the grip areas have a shape that facilitate easy manual holding of the rod.

In a further preferred variant of the invention, at least one of the fastening means with which the cables are fastened to the end regions of the rod, a snap hook. This allows a quick release and re-attachment of the respective cable at the respective end region of the rod. In particular, when ropes of different elasticity are changed frequently, snap hooks are advantageous. For example, a snap hook attached to the rope is attached to an eyelet secured to the rod of the gymnastic apparatus.

In a further embodiment of the invention, the ropes are attached to the rod so as to be rotatable about it, that is, about the axis of the rod. This allows for gymnastic exercises in which the ropes are rotated about the bar axis without the ropes wrapping around the bar, which would lead to undesirable rotational forces on the bar. For example, when the cables are rotatably mounted, exercises may be performed in which two loops are held by the user's feet and the bar is moved freely with both hands. Here, the ropes can be rotated around the rod in a certain angular range or even a full 360 °.

In a further preferred variant pairs of ropes with different lengths and / or different strengths are present in the gymnastic device. This allows a single user to perform different exercises or that users with different physical conditions can perform the same exercise.

Another embodiment provides for each rope at least one loop, more preferably several, in particular two loops before. The gymnastic apparatus can be used very advantageously both with and without loops. When using without loops, the loose end of the rope of the device may be used in homes e.g. be attached to door or window handles by knotting to perform exercises in this way. If loops are used, exercises are particularly suitable in which the loops are held by hands or feet. The presence of at least two loops per rope may prove beneficial in certain gymnastics exercises.

For example, additionally or alternatively, a loop may be attached to one end region or to both end regions of the rod.

Another preferred variant has at the end facing away from the rod further fastening means, in particular in the form of another snap hook. By connecting this snap hook with the attached directly to the rod attachment means or with the rope to which the snap hook itself is attached, thus, a loop of rope can be formed. A user may use this loop e.g. attach to a door handle and perform exercises in this way. In addition, separate, possibly different loops or other components can be attached to the cable ends with the help of further fastening means.

In a preferred embodiment, the loops are to be rotatably mounted on the respective cable around the cable axis. This allows exercises in which, for example, an arm of the user makes circular movements without the respective cable twisting. A twisting would lead after a certain time to the gymnastics exercise is no longer feasible and the rope must first be unwound again.

In a variant that allows even more exercises, the loops are made of an elastic material.

It is also advantageous if the loops are attached to the respective rope manually releasably. As a result, different types of loops can be attached to the respective rope.
