- the inventive bottle holder was developed in order to position the long-bodied instruments such as bottle, jar, baby bottle, vase in dishwasher. Said bottle holder is used to position just one instrument. Therefore, it is possible to place a long-bodied instrument on the desired basket (lower or upper) at the desired position. Since it consists of a single piece it occupies less space and its assembling and disassembling operations can be easily made. Said bottle holder has a long body which took the shape of reverse "U". Both legs of the body are flexuous towards the opposite directions from their lowest parts and these flexions are retroflex in the form of "U” at their end parts. These both end flexions in the form of "U” stand approximately rectangular relative to one another.

Abstract
Description
- This invention is related to bottle holding apparatuses which are assembled on dishwasher baskets.
- It is known that there is a problem in positioning and proper washing of the long-bodied instruments such as bottle, jar, baby bottle, vase in dishwashers. Especially, it represents a problem to keep these instruments with narrow inlet in the basket without toppling. In the state of the art, various holding apparatuses have been developed to allow these instruments to be washed in the dishwasher baskets. The published patent application
US2006254993 may be mentioned as an example for one of these apparatuses. Explained in this application is an apparatus which allows multiple bottles to be fitted. This apparatus can only be assembled on the dishwasher lower basket and takes up space. When a few instruments are positioned thereon, it causes restriction of space on the parts where instruments such as dish, cooker are to be put into basket. Therefore, a bottle holder, which occupies less space, can be put on the desired empty region on the dish basket, and of which assembling and disassembling operations can be easily made, is explained in detail by the invention below. Both legs of the body are flexuous towards the opposite directions from their lowest parts and these flexions are retroflex in the form of "U" at their end parts. These both end flexions in the form of "U" stand approximately rectangular relative to one another.
- By moving two legs of the body away from each other, one of the end flexions is engaged into the juncture of two horizontal wires of the basket which intersect each other and the other one into any horizontal wire and these flexions can be disengaged from the basket with a reverse movement. Since it is made of an integral wire, it is cheap to produce and easy to use. Furthermore, it occupies less space on the region it is used such that it does not prevent the placement of other instruments. In the basket-assembled position of the bottle holder, it is possible that said instruments be assembled from the upper side so as to include the body. Since it is assembled by locking on the horizontal wires, the risk of toppling is eliminated.
- An aim of the invention is to form a bottle holder which allows the long-bodied instruments such as bottle, jar, baby bottle, vase to be positioned in dishwasher.
Another aim of the invention is to allow said bottle holder to be placed on the desired basket (lower or upper) at the desired position.
The other aim of the invention is to ensure that the bottle holder occupies less space on the region it is used such that it does not prevent the placement of other instruments and its assembling and disassembling operations can be made easily.
Yet another aim of the invention is to form a bottle holder which is cheap to produce and easy to use.
Also the other aim of the invention is to eliminate the risk of toppling through assembling the basket to the horizontal wires by locking. - Examples of the inventive bottle holder are shown in the attached drawings, wherein:
-
Fig. 1 is a general perspective view of the dishwasher basket and the bottle holder thereon. -
Fig. 2 is a detailed perspective view of the dishwasher basket-assembled position of the bottle holder. -
Fig. 3 is a perspective view of the bottom side of the bottle holder. -
Fig. 4 is a front view of the bottle holder. -
Fig. 5 is a perspective view of the bottle holder with a bottle thereon. - The parts in the figures are numbered one by one and the corresponding terms of these numbers are given below.
- Dishwasher basket (1)
- Bottle holder (2)
- Horizontal wire (3)
- Horizontal wire (3')
- Horizontal Wire (4)
- Legs (5, 5')
- Feet (6, 6')
- Flexions (7, 7')
- End parts (8, 8')
- Neck (9)
- The inventive bottle holder (2) which is shown in
figs. 1-5 is used to position the long-bodied instruments on a dishwasher basket (1). Said bottle holder (2) has a body in the shape of reverse "U". Both legs (5, 5') of this "U" form constitute, each with one approximately rectangular flexion, two feet (6, 6') which proceed in the opposite direction relative to one another. One (6) of the feet has a flexion (7) which is retroflex in the form of "U". The other foot (6') has a flexion (7') which is retroflex in the form of "U".
The end part (8) of one (7) of the flexions extends towards the sideward of the foot (6) from which it flexes. This flexion (7) is also downwardly curved. In other words, in the dishwasher basket (1)-assembled position of the bottle holder (2), as also shown infig. 2 , for said flexion (7), the bottle holder (2) passes above the first horizontal wire (3), below the other horizontal wire (4) and again above the first horizontal wire (3) at the junction region of two horizontal wires (3, 4) that intersect each other and is assembled on these two said wires (3, 4). Therefore, although the end part (8) extends towards the sideward of the foot (6) with a flexion (7) in the form of "U", the flexion (7) is also downwardly curved such that it can pass below one horizontal wire (4). The foot (6) and the end part (8) remain above the first horizontal wire (3) and the flexion (7) remains below the second horizontal wire (4).
In another exemplary embodiment of the invention (not shown in the figures), the bottle holder (2) can also be arranged such that the foot (6) and the end part (8) remain below the first horizontal wire (3) and the flexion (8) remains above the second horizontal wire (4).
The end part (8') of the other flexion (7') extends towards the bottom of the foot (6') from which it flexes. In the dishwasher basket (1)-assembled position of the bottle holder (2), as also shown infigure 2 , the foot (6') passes above one horizontal wire (3') and the end part (8') following the flexion (7') remains below this wire (3'). In another exemplary embodiment of the invention (not shown in the figures), the bottle holder (2) can also be arranged such that the foot (6') remains below one horizontal wire (3') and the end part (8') following the flexion (7') remains above this wire (3').
In order to assemble the bottle holder (2) to the dishwasher basket (1) or disassemble it from there, the legs (5, 5') forming the body should be flexed in the opposite directions relative to one another (such that their distance is changed relative to one another). When the bottle holder (2) which is assembled to the horizontal wires (3, 3', 4) as explained above is released after the assembling-to-basket (1) operation and disassembling-from-basket (1) operation, it takes its old shape due to the flexibility of the wire.
In the bottle holder (2) which is shown infig. 3 , the legs (5, 5') form a neck (9) by converging and diverging at their lower portion. From the lower portion of the neck (9), the legs (5, 5') take their old shape again. Said neck (9) is a flexion part which is formed so as to be placed inside the narrow bottle inlets such as baby bottle and to grasp these parts from the inside.
