Das wesentliche Merkmal der erfindungsgemäßen Tablettenabfüllvorrichtung 1 ist, dass das Lastaufnahmemittel 3 die Tablette 5 von oben aus dem Tablettenspeicherbehälter 4 entnimmt. Da die Höhe der Halde an Tabletten 5 im Tablettenspeicherbehälter 4 schwankt, ist das Lastaufnahmemittel 3 auch vertikal verfahrbar (siehe Pfeil P2). Im vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel sind vier Lastaufnahmemittel 3 vorgesehen. Die einzelnen Lastaufnahmemittel 3 können individuell angesteuert werden.
