Description

The invention relates to a belt for a corrugator machine for producing a corrugated cardboard web according to the features of the preamble of claim 1.

Such from the EP 0 726 982 B1 Known belt consists of a fabric of warp threads and weft threads, wherein the belt has one to be produced corrugated board facing paper side, which rests against the corrugated web and one of the corrugated board facing away from drive side, are introduced via the tensile forces in the fabric belt.

From the WO 02/086231 A1 is also known to add on the drive side of the belt slippery fibers.

In known corrugated cardboard machines, the corrugated board web is drawn lying between two fabric belts through a heating and pressure zone in which the connection of the individual layers of the corrugated cardboard web takes place. In this case, on the one hand to supply a sufficient heating power to ensure the necessary temperature for liquefying the adhesive between the layers and on the other hand to apply sufficient pressure, a distribution of the adhesive between the layers ensures and ensures the fixation of the layers to each other.

In order to provide a corrugator machine with high production capacity, sufficient heating power must be available in the heating and pressure zone, sufficient pressure must be exerted on the corrugated cardboard web and the transport speed must be adapted accordingly by the heating and pressure zone. If the transport speed is increased, the heating power and the Anpressleistung must be increased to ensure adequate bonding is ensured. As a result, however, the friction loss increases between the running with the corrugated web through the heating and pressure zone fabric belt and the press shoes of the individual printing elements. This increased friction power must be equalized by an increased drive power of the corrugator.

An increase in output of a corrugator machine can therefore only be achieved by means of a higher drive power in order to compensate for the increased pressure required for the increase in production and the concomitant loss of friction between the fabric belt and the press shoe.

The invention has for its object to increase the production capacity of a corrugator without increasing the drive power.

The object is achieved according to the characterizing features of claim 1.

To provide the drive side of running through the heating and pressure zone fabric belt with a reibwertvermindernden material, leads to a significant reduction in friction between the press shoes and the continuous fabric belt. The increased Gleitfreudigkeit between the press shoes of the pressure elements and the fabric belt significantly reduces the necessary drive power, so that the reduced adhesion between the drive and the belt is irrelevant. If necessary, by increasing the wrap angle of the drive drum of the fabric belt, the reduced adhesion can be at least partially compensated.

As a result, the arrangement of Reibnungsverminderndem material on the drive side of the heating and pressure zone passing through the fabric belt leads to an increase in performance, since the same drive power, the pressure in the heating and pressure zone is increased and the transport speed of the corrugated web is increased.

The inventive measure contradicts the efforts of the art, according to which to enter a high drive power in the fabric belt whose drive drum facing drive side is to be treated reibwerterhƶhend.

The inventively applied to the drive side, reibwertvermindernde material is applied preferably as a coating over the entire surface of the drive side of the belt.

It may be sufficient to apply the material to at least some of the drive-side threads processed as warp-side warp threads. In this case, the material may be applied to some of the threads as a coating or individual or all of the threads of the drive side, preferably all warp threads from the reibwertvermindernden material.

It may be convenient to form at least some of the drive-side yarns, preferably the warp yarns of twisted yarns, with part of the twisted yarns of unaltered yarn material such as polyester and another part of the twisted yarns of the lower friction material such as polytetrafluoroethylene.

The formation of the fabric belt on the drive side may be provided so that substantially all the warp threads of a lying between the longitudinal edges of the fabric belt region comprise the reibwertvermindernde material, wherein the reibwertummindernde material having a lower coefficient of friction than the material of the other fabric threads on the same side are processed.

The material is an under lubricating material, so that - even if only individual areas are treated with the reibwertvermindernden material or only individual warp threads have the reibwertvermindernde material - during operation, a distribution over substantially the entire drive side of the fabric belt.

The material is a slippery plastic such as a fully fluorinated polymer, preferably polytetrafluoroethylene (trade name Teflon).

According to the invention, a belt for a corrugator machine is provided, which consists of a fabric of warp threads and weft threads, which has one of the corrugated board web to be produced paper side facing away from the corrugated cardboard web drive side. The paper side of the fabric belt abuts on the corrugated cardboard web, while on the drive side of the fabric belt a drive acts, which initiates the necessary for the longitudinal movement of the fabric belt tensile forces in the belt. The arrangement of a material for reducing the coefficient of friction on the drive side forming the belt side leads to a lower friction work between the pressure elements and the drive side of the fabric belt in the heating and pressure zone. The reibwertvermindernde material has a lower coefficient of friction than the fabric belt forming material.

In the exemplary embodiment shown, fourteen pressure elements and fourteen counter bearings 73 are arranged one behind the other in the transport direction 8, with each pressure element 71 having a press shoe 75. The press shoe 75 is pressed firmly on the counter bearing 73 via an appropriately designed spring element 74 with adjustable force. In the abutments 73 heaters 72 are formed, wherein preferably a hot air heater is provided. Electric heaters may also be advantageous.

The corrugated board web 50 to be produced is conveyed by belts 1, 1a through the heating and pressure zone 70. At the end of the heating and pressure zone 70, the corrugated cardboard web is caught between the two belts 1, 1 a, so that a tensile force acting in the transport direction 8 is applied to both sides of the corrugated cardboard web 50.

The upper belt 1 (upper belt) is formed longer than the lower belt 1a (lower belt), since the upper belt 1 passes through the heating and pressure zone 70 together with the corrugated cardboard web 50.
For this purpose, a drive 61 is provided, which is formed from an upper drive drum 62 for the upper flange and from a lower drive drum 62a for the lower flange. Each drive drum 62, 62a is associated with a guide drum 63, 63a; by means of which the wrap angle of the belt 1, 1a on the drive drum 62, 62a is increased to more than 180 Ā° up to 300 Ā°. This allows a higher torque to be transmitted to the belt.

Each belt 1, 1a is guided over a deflection drum 64, 64a, which is also associated with a guide drum 65, 65a.
About a tensioning drum 66 a, the necessary tension in the upper flange 1 as in the lower flange 1 a is ensured.

The heating and pressure zone 70 is in the embodiment shown within the endless upper belt 1, ie on the inner drive side 7 of the belt 1. The outside of the belt 1 is the paper side 6, which faces the corrugated cardboard web 50 and rests on the corrugated cardboard web 50. Im shown Embodiment, the paper page 6 is on the outside 53 of smooth material.

In order to ensure a good connection of the outer webs 51 and 53 of smooth material with the middle web 52 of corrugated material acts on the press shoe 75 on the drive side 7 of the belt 1, a force 76 which is opposite to the reaction 73, the reaction force 77. The outer webs 51 and 53 of the corrugated cardboard web 50 are pressed firmly against the central web 52 and thereby firmly connected to each other under the action of pressure and heat with a previously applied adhesive.

In order to ensure a good bonding of the corrugated cardboard sheet sufficient pressure, a sufficient temperature and a sufficient exposure time are necessary. The contact time is determined by the conveying speed in the transport direction 8. In a high-speed, high-speed machine, a high temperature and a high pressure are required, which requires high drive power of the drive 61 due to the frictional loss in the pressure and heating zone 70. If the pressure of the pressure elements 71 is reduced, although the necessary drive power is reduced, then the heating power may have to be increased in order to ensure proper bonding of the corrugated cardboard web 50 at the same transport speed in the transport direction 8. In order to be able to increase the pressure of the individual pressure elements 71 without the drive power of the drive 61 rising, a material is provided on the drive side 7 of the upper flange 1, which reduces the coefficient of friction of the drive side 7, ie increases the sliding value between the press shoe 75 and the drive side 7 of the belt 1. With the reibwertvermindernden material on the drive side 7, the pressure can be increased without the drive power increases. Thus, the heating power can be lowered or the conveying speed can be increased without the quality of the manufactured corrugated cardboard web 50 decreases.

Die der mittleren Gewebelage 20 abgewandte Seite der unteren Gewebelage 30 bildet die der Antriebstrommel 62 zugewandte Antriebsseite 7 des Gewebegurtes 1.One in the corrugator after Fig. 1 usable belt 1 is in the FIGS. 2 to 4 shown as an embodiment. The belt 1 made of a fabric of plastic threads Fig. 2 ) consists in the embodiment shown of an upper fabric layer 10, a middle fabric layer 20 and a lower fabric layer 30. The side facing away from the middle fabric layer 20 of the upper fabric layer 10 forms the corrugated board facing paper side 6 of the fabric belt 1. The middle fabric layer 20 side facing away The lower fabric layer 30 forms the drive drum 62 facing drive side 7 of the fabric belt. 1

In the fabric layers 10, 20, 30, the weft threads 4 extend transversely to the longitudinal direction 5 (FIG. Figures 3 and 4 ). In this case, four mutually offset warp threads 11, 12, 13, 14 are in the upper fabric layer 10 ( Fig. 2 ), which run both inward toward the middle fabric layer 20 and outwardly toward the paper side 6 via at least two weft threads 4 in each case. The lower fabric layer 30 consists of four each mutually offset warp yarns 31, 32, 33, 34, the inward - the middle fabric layer 20 - over only a weft 4 and to the outside - to the drive side 7 through - over at least three weft threads 4 run ( FIGS. 2 and 3 ).

The middle fabric layer 20 has two mutually offset warp threads 21 and 22, which run over two weft threads 4.

The binding threads are subdivided into two groups of threads, wherein the binding threads 42, 43 forming a thread group run offset to one another and bind the upper fabric layer 10 to the middle fabric layer 20. The binding threads 42 and 43 are each guided alternately via a weft thread 4 in the upper fabric layer 10 and a weft thread 4 in the middle fabric layer 20. In a corresponding manner, the group of threads formed from the binding threads 40 and 41 binds the lower fabric layer 30 to the middle fabric layer 20.

Instead of the three-ply fabric belt 1 shown in the exemplary embodiment, a two-ply or one-ply fabric belt can also be used as upper belt 1 or lower belt 1a in the corrugator 60 Fig. 1 be used.

In a simple embodiment of the invention, a coating 9 is provided to reduce the coefficient of friction on the drive side 7, which has a lower coefficient of friction than the drive side 7 forming fabric material. The coating may be a slippery plastic, in particular a fully fluorinated polymer, z. B. a polytetrafluoroethylene, which is offered as Teflon in the market. In particular, the material is a lubricating in operation material, so that the coating is distributed over the entire surface of the drive side 7 during operation, even if the coating 9 is only partially applied to the drive side 7. Thus, the coating 9 can be applied as a sprayed or glued grid network or the like. On the drive side 7, to then lubricate in operation and to cover the entire drive side 7.

In a further embodiment of the invention, the friction-reducing material is applied to at least some of the threads of the drive side 7, preferably on the warp threads 31a, 32a (FIG. Fig. 3 ) or 31a, 32a, 33a, 34a ( Fig. 4 ). A section through such a warp thread 31a is shown in FIG Fig. 5 shown. The coating 9a of the Reibwertvermindernden material may partially, preferably completely envelop the warp thread 31a.

If the reibwertvermindernde, lubricating material can be processed into a thread, some of the warp threads 31a, 32a, 33a, 34a are suitably made entirely of this material and woven into the drive side 7.

In a further embodiment of the invention, twisted threads 80 are provided as warp threads 31a, 32a, 33a, 34a on the drive side 7. Such twisted yarns 80 consist of monofilaments 83 of an unchanged thread material such as polyester or the like., And another part of the threads consists of the material with a lower coefficient of friction such. B. polytetrafluoroethylene. Such twisted threads 80 are used as warp threads on the drive side 7, wherein the existing of the reibwertvermindernden material filaments 81 lubricate and ensure over a long period of operation good lubrication of the drive side 7 with the reibwertvermindernden material. The sliding resistance between the press shoe 75 and the drive side 7 of the fabric belt 1 is low over a long period of operation.

As in Fig. 4 3, substantially all of the warp threads 31a, 32a, 33a, 34a have friction-reducing material in a middle region 3 of the fabric belt 1 located between the longitudinal edges 2. This Reibwertvermindernde material has a lower coefficient of friction than the material from which the other fabric threads -. B. the weft threads 4 - exist.
