Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for air conditioning rooms according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Devices of the type discussed here are used for decentralized heating or cooling of rooms.
  • the devices are preferably also used for ventilation, namely by means of outside air or circulating air.
  • the devices can work with outside air and circulating air or either with outside air or circulating air.
  • Such devices are preferably arranged in a decentralized manner in the floor or ceiling area, for example in EP 0 207 718 A2 described.
  • Each room has at least one device for this purpose.
  • Efforts are being made to keep such devices as compact as possible so that they only need a relatively small cutout in the floor or in the ceiling, which is covered by a one-part or multi-part grid.
  • those devices that fulfill several air conditioning tasks and can therefore be used universally have several individual components that require corresponding space, especially if the device is arranged in the floor area, where it must be able to be accommodated in a relatively flat space.
  • the expansion or retrofitting of existing devices is difficult because space has to be created for the additional components of the air-conditioning device, which necessitates additional cutouts in the intermediate floor or in the ceiling paneling.
  • a device with the features of the preamble of claim 1 is also from the document JPH01106828U known.
  • the invention is based on the object of creating a device for air conditioning of rooms which manages with a relatively small cut-out in the intermediate floor or in the ceiling paneling, can be easily expanded and is easy to assemble and service.
  • a device for solving this problem has the features of claim 1.
  • the secondary housing accessible through a secondary opening in the housing, creates additional space for further components of the air-conditioning device that cannot be accommodated in the housing.
  • the secondary housing which is arranged laterally next to the housing, does not require its own cutout in the floor or in the ceiling, because it is accessible from the housing through the secondary opening serving as a passage opening.
  • the secondary housing can thus be equipped with additional components of the air-conditioning device through the opening of the housing that can be covered by at least one grille and the secondary opening creating a passage to the secondary housing. This simplifies the assembly and allows an equally simple dismantling, especially for repair and maintenance purposes.
  • the secondary housing can also be fitted with additional components of the air-conditioning device at a later date.
  • the device thus enables an existing air-conditioning device to be expanded without the need for additional cutouts in the floor, in particular an intermediate floor with the floor covering laid on it, or in a ceiling paneling.
  • the secondary housing is connected to one wall of the housing.
  • the housing and the secondary housing form an inherently stable unit for accommodating all the intended components of the air-conditioning device.
  • the housing and the secondary housing attached to it preferably form a substantially rigid unit. This simplifies the alignment of the device, with the housing possibly being able to partially support the secondary housing, namely preferably one side of the secondary housing. Alternatively, it would also be conceivable to install the housing and the secondary housing separately and then to connect the two.
  • the secondary opening is arranged in that wall of the housing and / or of the secondary housing with which the secondary housing is connected to the housing.
  • the secondary opening is thus surrounded by the secondary housing.
  • the secondary opening is preferably located in a longitudinal side wall of the housing.
  • the secondary housing can have a corresponding secondary opening.
  • the secondary housing preferably has no wall on the side facing the housing, in particular no longitudinal side wall, so that with a correspondingly large secondary opening in the longitudinal side wall of the housing, the entire side of the secondary housing is open and therefore fully accessible for assembly and disassembly.
  • the base area of the secondary housing is preferably somewhat smaller than the base area of the housing.
  • the base of the secondary housing is at least narrower than the base of the housing. This makes it possible to insert a component of the air conditioning device that fills the entire base area of the secondary housing, possibly several components already connected to one another, through the larger opening into the housing and push it out of the housing into the secondary housing through the secondary opening.
  • the secondary housing is preferably somewhat shorter than the housing, as a result of which part of the surface of the longitudinal side wall of the housing is left free from the secondary housing. This remaining area of the longitudinal side area of the housing facing the secondary housing is available for connections, specifically both liquid-carrying lines or hoses and cables.
  • the height of the secondary housing is less than the height of the housing, a top or bottom of the secondary housing preferably being set back from the plane of the opening in the housing that can be covered by the at least one grille.
  • the lower secondary housing can be arranged below a floor covering, for example a double floor, a cavity floor or some other floor covering, or above a ceiling cladding or false ceiling.
  • the secondary housing can be inserted through the cutout for the housing in the floor surface or ceiling surface into the space under the double floor or above a ceiling panel.
  • the cutout for the housing which can be covered by at least one grille, can thus be used in order to mount the secondary housing.
  • a separate cutout for the secondary housing, which can be covered by at least one separate grille, is thus unnecessary.
  • guides for inserting at least part of the air-conditioning device or individual components thereof are assigned to the secondary housing. This facilitates the lateral insertion of parts or components of the air-conditioning device into the secondary housing from the housing.
  • the housing has at least one passage opening and at least one corresponding connection carrier, which are designed to correspond to one another in such a way that the connection carrier with mounted connections and / or cables can be passed through the opening.
  • the passage opening and the Connection carriers can be designed in such a way that the latter can be pushed or plugged through the housing and can preferably also be attached to the passage opening or in the passage opening.
  • the at least one connection carrier can be provided with connections or cables and subsequently inserted into the housing as a pre-assembled connection unit and / or connected to the same.
  • the assembly of the device is simplified.
  • the connections can be installed on the connection carrier before the housing and other components of the air conditioning system are installed. Above all, cables can be provided with plugs before the air-conditioning device is installed in the housing and, if necessary, the secondary housing, and the plugs can be mounted on the connection carrier.
  • connection carrier in one extension direction is the same, preferably somewhat smaller than the corresponding dimension of the passage opening of the housing. Then the dimension of the connection carrier in a different direction of extent can be greater than the passage opening. In spite of this, the connection carrier can still be plugged through the passage opening of the housing or inserted into it, even with the connections or cables mounted.
  • connection carrier is provided with a U-shaped cross section.
  • the two parallel legs make it possible, on the one hand, to fasten cable plugs in the connection carrier and, on the other hand, to provide strain relief for the respective cable.
  • the connection carrier thereby fulfills all the necessary installation tasks for cables in particular. After all connections have been mounted on the connection carrier, only the connection carrier needs to be connected to the housing in order to have all connections for supplying the air-conditioning device with at least electrical energy on the housing, in particular in the housing. After the necessary components of the air conditioning device have been inserted into the housing and the secondary housing, all you need to do is plug the cable of the air conditioning device into the corresponding plug of the connection carrier to be plugged in to complete the installation of the air conditioning device.
  • connection carrier is provided with opposing incisions in the web which adjoin the leg holding the cable connector.
  • an incision can serve for the entry of an edge region of the passage opening of the housing that receives the connection carrier.
  • the connection carrier can be pushed back and forth in the opening for insertion through the opening.
  • the leg, behind which the incisions are located in the web can have a dimension in the direction of the incisions which goes beyond the dimension of the passage opening in the corresponding direction.
  • the leg of the connection carrier carrying the cable connector is wider than the passage opening for the connection carrier in the housing. Then the height of the leg is equal to or slightly smaller than the height of the passage opening. Despite the leg having a larger area than the passage opening, the wider connection carrier can be pushed through the passage opening. The incisions make it possible to move the connection carrier, which is inserted with the leg through the inlet opening of the housing, in front of the passage opening and to place it centrally in front of the passage opening.
  • the connection carrier is fastened in front of the passage opening, preferably by screwing the opposite edge regions of the leg of the connection carrier that overlap the passage opening onto a longitudinal side wall of the housing.
  • connection carrier with the cable ends mounted thereon, in particular cable plugs, and / or connections is to be subsequently attached to the housing. It is also possible to detach the connection carrier with installed cable plugs from the housing for service purposes or for the assembly of further cables or connections and to pull the detached connection carrier with cables and other connections into the housing.
  • the connection carrier can, however, also be pushed through the passage opening again with the connections mounted. As a result, the passage opening is released again in order to mount or dismantle other connections, for example couplings for lines carrying liquids.
  • the device shown here is used for decentralized air conditioning of rooms.
  • a room can have one or more devices.
  • the device shown in the figures has an air conditioning device for heating, cooling and ventilating the respective room. Ventilation takes place with outside air.
  • the device is connected to a circuit with a liquid heat transfer medium and a circuit with a liquid refrigerant.
  • the device shown is designed as a floor air conditioning unit.
  • the device is arranged in the floor of a room, preferably under a double floor.
  • the device then extends in an intermediate space between a building-side floor and the double floor arranged at a distance above it.
  • the device has a trough-like housing 10 with a rectangular base area.
  • the housing 10 has a rectangular base 11 corresponding to the base area, which can be partially open, two parallel longitudinal side walls 12 and 13 and two parallel transverse side walls 14 and 15.

  • the base area of the opening 16 corresponds to that of the base 11.
  • the device also has a secondary housing 17 which, in the exemplary embodiment shown, is designed like a trough.
  • the secondary housing 17 also has a rectangular base area, but the secondary housing 17 is smaller than the housing 10.
  • the secondary housing 17 is shorter than the housing 10 and also somewhat narrower and lower.
  • An underside 18 of the secondary housing 17, which is open in the exemplary embodiment shown, is flush with the base 11 of the housing 10, so that the base 11 and the underside 18 lie approximately in one plane.
  • the height of the secondary housing 17 is dimensioned such that it can be accommodated between the building-side floor, for example a floor, and the underside of the intermediate floor.
  • the secondary housing 17 is shorter than the housing 10 in such a way that the longitudinal protrusion of the housing 10 relative to the secondary housing 17 offers enough space for all the necessary connections of the air conditioning device, both liquid-carrying lines and electrical cables.

Description

The invention relates to a device for air conditioning rooms according to the preamble of claim 1.

Umluft arbeiten.Devices of the type discussed here are used for decentralized heating or cooling of rooms. The devices are preferably also used for ventilation, namely by means of outside air or circulating air. When ventilating, the devices can work with outside air and circulating air or either with outside air or circulating air.

Such devices are preferably arranged in a decentralized manner in the floor or ceiling area, for example in EP 0 207 718 A2 described. Each room has at least one device for this purpose. Efforts are being made to keep such devices as compact as possible so that they only need a relatively small cutout in the floor or in the ceiling, which is covered by a one-part or multi-part grid. In particular, those devices that fulfill several air conditioning tasks and can therefore be used universally have several individual components that require corresponding space, especially if the device is arranged in the floor area, where it must be able to be accommodated in a relatively flat space. The expansion or retrofitting of existing devices is difficult because space has to be created for the additional components of the air-conditioning device, which necessitates additional cutouts in the intermediate floor or in the ceiling paneling.

A device with the features of the preamble of claim 1 is also from the document JPH01106828U known.

The invention is based on the object of creating a device for air conditioning of rooms which manages with a relatively small cut-out in the intermediate floor or in the ceiling paneling, can be easily expanded and is easy to assemble and service.

A device for solving this problem has the features of claim 1. The secondary housing, accessible through a secondary opening in the housing, creates additional space for further components of the air-conditioning device that cannot be accommodated in the housing. The secondary housing, which is arranged laterally next to the housing, does not require its own cutout in the floor or in the ceiling, because it is accessible from the housing through the secondary opening serving as a passage opening. The secondary housing can thus be equipped with additional components of the air-conditioning device through the opening of the housing that can be covered by at least one grille and the secondary opening creating a passage to the secondary housing. This simplifies the assembly and allows an equally simple dismantling, especially for repair and maintenance purposes. To expand the device, the secondary housing can also be fitted with additional components of the air-conditioning device at a later date. The device thus enables an existing air-conditioning device to be expanded without the need for additional cutouts in the floor, in particular an intermediate floor with the floor covering laid on it, or in a ceiling paneling.

It is also provided that the secondary housing is connected to one wall of the housing. As a result, the housing and the secondary housing form an inherently stable unit for accommodating all the intended components of the air-conditioning device. The housing and the secondary housing attached to it preferably form a substantially rigid unit. This simplifies the alignment of the device, with the housing possibly being able to partially support the secondary housing, namely preferably one side of the secondary housing. Alternatively, it would also be conceivable to install the housing and the secondary housing separately and then to connect the two.

The secondary opening is arranged in that wall of the housing and / or of the secondary housing with which the secondary housing is connected to the housing. The secondary opening is thus surrounded by the secondary housing. In the case of devices arranged in the floor or ceiling area, the secondary opening is preferably located in a longitudinal side wall of the housing. The secondary housing can have a corresponding secondary opening. The secondary housing preferably has no wall on the side facing the housing, in particular no longitudinal side wall, so that with a correspondingly large secondary opening in the longitudinal side wall of the housing, the entire side of the secondary housing is open and therefore fully accessible for assembly and disassembly.

The base area of the secondary housing is preferably somewhat smaller than the base area of the housing. The base of the secondary housing is at least narrower than the base of the housing. This makes it possible to insert a component of the air conditioning device that fills the entire base area of the secondary housing, possibly several components already connected to one another, through the larger opening into the housing and push it out of the housing into the secondary housing through the secondary opening. The secondary housing is preferably somewhat shorter than the housing, as a result of which part of the surface of the longitudinal side wall of the housing is left free from the secondary housing. This remaining area of the longitudinal side area of the housing facing the secondary housing is available for connections, specifically both liquid-carrying lines or hoses and cables.

According to a preferred embodiment of the device, the height of the secondary housing is less than the height of the housing, a top or bottom of the secondary housing preferably being set back from the plane of the opening in the housing that can be covered by the at least one grille. The lower secondary housing can be arranged below a floor covering, for example a double floor, a cavity floor or some other floor covering, or above a ceiling cladding or false ceiling. Before the housing is installed, the secondary housing can be inserted through the cutout for the housing in the floor surface or ceiling surface into the space under the double floor or above a ceiling panel. The cutout for the housing, which can be covered by at least one grille, can thus be used in order to mount the secondary housing. A separate cutout for the secondary housing, which can be covered by at least one separate grille, is thus unnecessary.

According to the invention, it is provided that guides for inserting at least part of the air-conditioning device or individual components thereof are assigned to the secondary housing. This facilitates the lateral insertion of parts or components of the air-conditioning device into the secondary housing from the housing.

In a further preferred device for solving the above-mentioned object, the housing has at least one passage opening and at least one corresponding connection carrier, which are designed to correspond to one another in such a way that the connection carrier with mounted connections and / or cables can be passed through the opening. The passage opening and the Connection carriers can be designed in such a way that the latter can be pushed or plugged through the housing and can preferably also be attached to the passage opening or in the passage opening. The at least one connection carrier can be provided with connections or cables and subsequently inserted into the housing as a pre-assembled connection unit and / or connected to the same. The assembly of the device is simplified. The connections can be installed on the connection carrier before the housing and other components of the air conditioning system are installed. Above all, cables can be provided with plugs before the air-conditioning device is installed in the housing and, if necessary, the secondary housing, and the plugs can be mounted on the connection carrier.

The dimension of the connection carrier in one extension direction is the same, preferably somewhat smaller than the corresponding dimension of the passage opening of the housing. Then the dimension of the connection carrier in a different direction of extent can be greater than the passage opening. In spite of this, the connection carrier can still be plugged through the passage opening of the housing or inserted into it, even with the connections or cables mounted.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, provision is made for the connection carrier to be provided with a U-shaped cross section. This gives the connection carrier two parallel legs and a web connecting them. The two parallel legs make it possible, on the one hand, to fasten cable plugs in the connection carrier and, on the other hand, to provide strain relief for the respective cable. The connection carrier thereby fulfills all the necessary installation tasks for cables in particular.

According to a preferred development of the invention, the connection carrier is provided with opposing incisions in the web which adjoin the leg holding the cable connector. When the connection carrier is inserted into the housing, an incision can serve for the entry of an edge region of the passage opening of the housing that receives the connection carrier. In this way, the connection carrier can be pushed back and forth in the opening for insertion through the opening. As a result, the leg, behind which the incisions are located in the web, can have a dimension in the direction of the incisions which goes beyond the dimension of the passage opening in the corresponding direction.

It is preferably provided that the leg of the connection carrier carrying the cable connector is wider than the passage opening for the connection carrier in the housing. The connection carrier is fastened in front of the passage opening, preferably by screwing the opposite edge regions of the leg of the connection carrier that overlap the passage opening onto a longitudinal side wall of the housing. The connection carrier with the cable ends mounted thereon, in particular cable plugs, and / or connections is to be subsequently attached to the housing. It is also possible to detach the connection carrier with installed cable plugs from the housing for service purposes or for the assembly of further cables or connections and to pull the detached connection carrier with cables and other connections into the housing. The connection carrier can, however, also be pushed through the passage opening again with the connections mounted. As a result, the passage opening is released again in order to mount or dismantle other connections, for example couplings for lines carrying liquids.

The device shown here is used for decentralized air conditioning of rooms. A room can have one or more devices. The device shown in the figures has an air conditioning device for heating, cooling and ventilating the respective room. Ventilation takes place with outside air. For heating or cooling, the device is connected to a circuit with a liquid heat transfer medium and a circuit with a liquid refrigerant.

The device shown is designed as a floor air conditioning unit. For this purpose, the device is arranged in the floor of a room, preferably under a double floor. The device then extends in an intermediate space between a building-side floor and the double floor arranged at a distance above it.

Die Grundfläche der Öffnung 16 entspricht derjenigen des Bodens 11.The device has a trough-like housing 10 with a rectangular base area. The housing 10 has a rectangular base 11 corresponding to the base area, which can be partially open, two parallel longitudinal side walls 12 and 13 and two parallel transverse side walls 14 and 15. The top of the housing 10, which runs approximately flush with the intermediate base, has a full-surface opening 16 The base area of the opening 16 corresponds to that of the base 11.

The device also has a secondary housing 17 which, in the exemplary embodiment shown, is designed like a trough. The secondary housing 17 also has a rectangular base area, but the secondary housing 17 is smaller than the housing 10. The secondary housing 17 is shorter than the housing 10 and also somewhat narrower and lower. An underside 18 of the secondary housing 17, which is open in the exemplary embodiment shown, is flush with the base 11 of the housing 10, so that the base 11 and the underside 18 lie approximately in one plane. The height of the secondary housing 17 is dimensioned such that it can be accommodated between the building-side floor, for example a floor, and the underside of the intermediate floor. The secondary housing 17 is shorter than the housing 10 in such a way that the longitudinal protrusion of the housing 10 relative to the secondary housing 17 offers enough space for all the necessary connections of the air conditioning device, both liquid-carrying lines and electrical cables.

In the exemplary embodiment shown, the secondary housing 17 is formed from three upright C-profiles which form two opposite, parallel transverse side walls 19 and one longitudinal side wall 20. The secondary housing 17 arranged laterally next to the housing 10 is firmly connected to the housing 10. That longitudinal side of the secondary housing 17 which faces the longitudinal side wall 13 of the housing 10 does not have a longitudinal side wall. As a result, the secondary housing 17 is completely open to the housing 10 side. A secondary opening 21 is provided in the longitudinal side wall 13 of the housing 10, the size of which corresponds to a longitudinal side of the secondary housing 17, namely corresponding to the longitudinal side wall 20 of the secondary housing 17 running parallel to the longitudinal side wall 13 of the housing 10. The interior of the secondary housing 17 is fully accessible from the housing 10 through the secondary opening 21.

The transverse side walls 19 and the longitudinal side wall 20 of the secondary housing 17 are formed by an upright web of the cross-sectionally C-shaped profile. Parallel short legs 22 of the profiles of the longitudinal side wall 20 and the transverse side walls 19 lie in FIG parallel horizontal planes, the plane of the lower leg 22 forming the plane of the bottom 18 of the secondary housing 17. The upper legs 22 of the transverse side walls 19 and the longitudinal side wall 20 lie in a parallel plane which lies below the plane of the opening 16 in the housing 10 by the thickness of the intermediate floor. The upper legs 22 thereby form an upper side of the secondary housing 17. Both this upper side and the lower side 18 of the secondary housing 17 are open between the legs 22, the top of the secondary housing 17, which is partially open between the legs 22, being closed by the double floor.

The housing 10 has height-adjustable feet 23. The housing 10 together with the components of the air-conditioning device arranged therein stands on the building-side floor, for example a floor. By individually adjusting the height of the feet 23, the housing 10 can be adjusted and aligned on the housing-side floor. The secondary housing 17 is supported on the longitudinal side facing the housing 10 by being connected to the housing 10 on the same. At the outside corner areas between the longitudinal side wall 20 and the transverse side walls 19, the secondary housing 17 is also supported on the building-side floor and fastened there by mounting brackets 24.

The housing 10 is arranged with the longitudinal side wall 12 opposite the secondary housing 17 on an inner side of an outer or facade wall of a building and, if necessary, connected to it. To supply the air-conditioning device with the outside air, the longitudinal side wall 12 has a cutout 25 through which outside air can be guided into the interior of the housing 10. On the inside of the longitudinal side wall 12, next to opposite, upright edges of the cutout 25, holders 26 are provided for an air duct to be attached to the longitudinal side wall 12 from the inside of the housing 10 in an airtight manner, for example the connection of an outside air flap 27. The brackets 26 have holding legs 28 assigned to opposite transverse edges of the cutout 25, which run slightly antiparallel to the longitudinal side wall 12, namely downwards, towards the bottom 11 of the housing 10, slightly approaching the inside of the longitudinal side wall 12. If an air duct, for example the outside air flap 27, is positioned from the inside of the housing 10 in front of the longitudinal side wall 12, for which purpose the edges of the air duct are pushed from above between the longitudinal side wall 12 and the holding limbs 28, the holding limb 28 enters the longer the insertion depth Increasing pressing of the air duct, in particular a seal assigned to it, against the longitudinal side wall 12. If the air duct of the outside air flap 27 is arranged in front of the cutout 25, it is held against the inside by the holding leg 28 of the brackets 26, which extends obliquely to the longitudinal side wall 12, with its seal pressed against the longitudinal side wall 12 and thereby automatically sealing the air duct relative to the longitudinal side wall 12 of the housing 10.

The housing 10 has a passage opening 29 in the part of the longitudinal side wall 13 facing the auxiliary housing 17 that protrudes in the longitudinal direction relative to the secondary housing 17. The rectangular passage opening 29 has parallel horizontal longitudinal side edges 30, 31 and parallel, vertical transverse side edges 32, 33. The passage opening 29 is used to partially push through and hold a connection carrier 34 also for the control, the air-conditioning device in the housing 10 and in the secondary housing 17. The connection carrier 34 shown here has a C-shaped cross section in a perpendicular plane running transversely to the longitudinal side wall 13. As a result, the connection carrier 34 has two parallel legs 35, 36 and a horizontal web 37 connecting them. The legs 35, 36 run parallel to one another and, when the connection carrier 34 is fastened to the housing 10, lie in planes running parallel to the longitudinal side wall 13.

The connection carrier 34 is designed in such a way that it can be inserted through the passage opening 29 in the longitudinal side wall 13 and attached to the longitudinal side wall 13 of the housing 10 with the leg 35 resting on the longitudinal side wall 13 from the inside, preferably releasably by screws or the like. So that the connection carrier 34 with the leg 35 can be fastened from the inside in front of the longitudinal side wall 13, the leg 35 has a width which is greater than the width of the passage opening 29 by having opposite end regions 38 of the leg 35 the opposite transverse side edges 32 and 33 of the Overlap the longitudinal side wall 13. The connection carrier 34 can be connected to the housing 10 in these overlapping areas. The length or height of the leg 36 is dimensioned such that it corresponds to the height of the passage opening 29, that is to say the length of the transverse side edges 32, 33, and is preferably somewhat smaller. The rear leg 36 and also the web 37 have a width which corresponds to the width of the passage opening 29, that is to say the length of the longitudinal side edges 30, 31, and is preferably somewhat smaller.

The web 37 of the connection carrier 34 has, in its area adjoining the leg 35, opposing incisions 40 which extend from transverse edges 41 of the web 37. The incisions 40 are somewhat wider than the thickness of the longitudinal side wall 13 and as deep as the respective lateral projection of the leg 35 relative to the transverse edges 41, preferably somewhat deeper. As a result, the connection carrier 34 can be pushed diagonally through the passage opening 29 despite the wider front leg 35 by first sliding the incision 40 on one side of the connection carrier 34 over a transverse side edge 33 or 34 of the passage opening 29 in the longitudinal side wall 13, whereby the the edge area of the leg 35 protruding on the opposite side opposite the transverse edge 41 reaches the area of the passage opening 29 and the connection carrier 34 with the leg 35 can thereby be plugged into the interior of the housing 10 from the outside. Because the rear leg 36 and the web 37 do not extend beyond the width of the through-opening 29, after the front leg 35 has been pushed through the through-opening 29, the entire connection carrier 34 can be pushed through the through-opening 29 so that the entire connection carrier 34 is inside of the housing 10 is located ( Fig. 9 ).

Die Kabeldurchführungen 45 dienen dabei gleichzeitig zur Zugentlastung der Kabel 42, 43.The special design of the connection carrier 34 described above makes it possible to insert this with installed cables through the opening 29 and to fasten it from the inside of the housing 10 from the inside of the longitudinal side wall 13 by means of screws, for example. The connection carrier 34 can, however, also be pulled completely into the housing 10 with the cables installed. The connection carrier 34 shown is provided for two cables 42, 43. The two cables 42, 43 are provided with cable plugs 44 at their ends, the cable 43 being assigned three cable plugs 44. The cables 42, 43 serve to supply the air-conditioning device with electrical energy and to control the air-conditioning device. However, the invention is not limited to the number of cables 42, 43 and cable plugs 44 shown in the figures. The cable plugs 44 are connected to the (wider) leg 35, preferably detachable. The leg 35 of the connection carrier. 34 thereby simultaneously serves to hold the cable connector 44. Cable bushings 45 are connected to the rear leg 36, through which the cables 42 and 43 are passed. The cable bushings 45 serve at the same time to relieve strain on the cables 42, 43.

In the exemplary embodiment shown, the leg 35 has a free recess 46 which can be equipped with further cable connectors 44 if necessary. The connection carrier 34 can also be provided with a larger number of reserve recesses 46 be. It is also conceivable to provide several, in particular superfluous, receptacles for cable bushings 45 in the rear leg 36.

Within the passage opening 29 for the connection carrier 34, four couplings 47 are provided in the longitudinal side wall 13 in the exemplary embodiment shown for connecting a supply and return line each for the refrigerant and the heat transfer medium. Valves 48 arranged in the interior of the housing 10 are assigned to the clutches 47. In the exemplary embodiment shown, shut-off cocks 49 are also assigned to the valves 48, preferably downstream. The valves 48 are preferably adjustable by remote control.

When assembling the device, the procedure is such that first the housing 10 and the secondary housing 17 are assembled. The housing 10 and the secondary housing 17 are aligned with the feet 23 and the mounting brackets 24. If necessary, the housing 10 and preferably also the secondary housing 17 are fastened to the floor on the building side. In addition, the longitudinal side wall 12 of the housing 10 facing the outer wall or facade can be firmly connected to the outer wall, with the edge surrounding the cutout 25 for the outside air flap 27 in the longitudinal side wall 12 being sealed against the outer wall or facade if necessary. The intermediate floor is then installed over the opening 16 with a cutout corresponding to the opening 16 in the housing 10. Only when the construction is almost complete are the internal parts, especially the components of the air conditioning device, placed in the secondary housing 17 and the housing 10.

1 to 5 show individual sections of the assembly of the components of the air conditioning device in the secondary housing 17 and in the housing 10.

In the Fig. 1 an outside air fan unit 50 is shown in phantom before assembly. The outside air fan unit 50 is set down in the housing 10 through the upper opening 16, possibly with a slight tilting movement. The outside air fan unit 50 is pushed from the housing 10 through the secondary opening 21 into the secondary housing 17. The outside air fan unit 50 is at least partially surrounded by a frame whose corner areas correspond in terms of dimensions to the clear internal dimensions of the secondary housing 17, namely correspond to the distance between the legs 22 of the C-profile of the transverse side walls 19 of the secondary housing 17. The legs 22 serve as guide rails for sliding the outside air fan unit 50 into the secondary housing 17.

In the exemplary embodiment shown, the outside air fan unit 50 has a fan, for example a radial fan 51 and a silencer 52 ( Fig. 4 ). Outside air is sucked in from the radial fan 51 through parts of the air conditioning system arranged in the housing 10, which after passing the silencer 52 through the secondary opening 21 returns into the housing 10 and exits upwards through a grate 58 that closes the cutout for the housing 10 in the double floor and so enters the room as an upward current.

After the outside air fan unit 50 has been mounted in the secondary housing 17, a tub insert 53 is inserted into the housing 10 through the upper opening 16. The tub insert 53 extends only over part of the length of the housing 10, and only as far as the secondary housing 17 extends ( Fig. 3 ). Seen in the longitudinal direction of the tub insert 53 is a part of the same, which extends approximately over the area of the cutout 25 for the entry of outside air into the housing 10, with the outside air flap 27, a drive 54 for adjusting the outside air flap 27 and a filter, in particular a pollen filter 55, provided. In this way, a predetermined amount of outside air via the outside air flap 27 passes through the pollen filter 55 to the radial fan 51 in the secondary housing 17.

The remaining space along the tub insert 53 is taken up by a heat exchanger 56 and a cross-flow fan 57. The heat exchanger 56 and the cross-flow fan 57 lie side by side in the tub insert 53, with the cross-flow fan 57 on the side of the housing 10 facing the outside air fan unit 50 in the secondary housing 17 ( Fig. 4 ). A circulating air flow is generated by the cross-flow fan 57. In the process, room air is sucked in and conducted past the heat exchanger 56. Above the heat exchanger 56, heated or cooled circulating air passes back into the room. The cross-flow fan 57 thus serves as a circulating air fan. Depending on the operation of the device, fresh air can also be conducted past the heat exchanger 50 from the outside air fan unit 50 in the secondary housing 17 and be cooled or heated in the process. However, fresh air can also flow into the room without cooling or heating.

After the above-mentioned main components and other additional parts, such as condensate trays, filters, covers or the like in the housing 10 and the secondary housing 17 have been installed, the connections are made. For this purpose, cable plugs, not shown, in particular of the radial fan 51, the cross-flow fan 57 and the drive 54 for the outside air flap 27 and the control are connected to the cable plugs 44 of the connection carrier 34. In addition, the lines of the heat exchanger 56 are connected to the valves 48 by the couplings 47, preferably in the form of quick-release fasteners. The device is then basically ready for use. Only the opening 16 in the housing 10 has to be closed by a grate 58, for example a transverse or a longitudinal grate. Several separate grids can also be provided.

In the exemplary embodiment shown, a cover 59 and a filter web 60 lying thereon are also provided over the heat exchanger 56 and the cross-flow fan 57. The cover 59 is preferably supported in or on the housing 10 in order to serve as a support for the grate 58. A control 61 is also arranged in the front part of the housing 10 left free by the outside air flap 27, the heat exchanger 56 and the cross-flow fan 57, in which the cable plugs 44 are on the connection carrier 34 and the couplings 47, the valves 48 and the shut-off cocks 49 are located .

Die Oberseite des Rosts 58 schließt bevorzugt bündig mit der Oberfläche des Zwischenbodens ab.The spaces in opposite end areas of the housing 10 for receiving the outside air flap 27 with the drive 54 on the one hand and cable plugs 44, couplings 47, valves 48, shut-off cocks 49 and the control 61 on the other hand are covered by covers 62 inserted from above into the opening 16 of the housing 10, 63 locked. The covers 62, 63 are loosely placed on the opening 16 of the housing 10 so that they can be removed, in particular for maintenance purposes. The grate 58 extends over the covers 62, 63, thereby closing off the entire opening 16 of the housing 10 towards the top. The top of the grate 58 is preferably flush with the surface of the intermediate floor.

The invention is not only suitable for the air-conditioning device shown in the figures, but also for air-conditioning devices configured and constructed in any way, including those that are not used for ventilation, cooling and heating, but only fulfill some of the air-conditioning tasks mentioned. It is also conceivable that the device or the air-conditioning device only has a single fan, so that the cross-flow fan 57 serving as a circulating air fan is omitted. It is also conceivable that the device has no ventilation option with outside air. Such a device does not require an outside air connection. The air conditioning device is then formed from a pure air circulation unit, which preferably has a stronger cooling capacity than the described device with an outside air unit.
