Description

TECHNISCHES GEBIETTECHNICAL AREA

The invention relates to an attachment for a ski pole, in particular for alpine skiing or for cross-country skiing, with a top attachment, which has an upwardly directed receiving area for a pole tube, a downwardly directed pole tip, and a rigid, substantially in a plane perpendicular or at an angle of between 60 - 120 ° to the axis of the pole tube extending plate area.

STAND DER TECHNIKSTATE OF THE ART

In the area of alpine skiing as well as cross-country skiing, poles are used to support themselves on the ground on the one hand and on the other hand to trigger the forward movement. The sticks have for this purpose a handle, an actual tube and a tip, this tip also has a plate. The tip is intended to penetrate into the ground, such as snow or ice, and the plate serves to limit this intrusion by the plate provides a large support surface for resting on the ground.

Such plates can take different forms, the classic form consists for example of a ring which is connected via connecting elements with the floor, or, as in the DE 14 78 108 disclosed as a funnel-shaped disc. It is also known to provide a construction at the pole top, with which different plates of different size, color, etc. can be attached. Particularly in the high-performance sector, for example in cross-country skiing, for example in so-called skating, it is crucial to have just the right size of the plate available. This size depends inter alia on the nature of the substrate,
from which is to be repelled, from. If the snow, for example, soft, so a relatively large contact surface is required, but the snow is hard and frozen, for example, you might want to have a small area of the plate in order to save weight and also to prevent hooking in the snow.

Accordingly, there is a need for variably adjustable stick tips or in particular the associated plate areas, this variability should be made available as possible without much effort, a simple change between different sizes is possible, and yet an optimal shape of the plate is given.

Known for example from the US 4921275 are constructions in which the plate can be folded, that is, there is a first position in which the plate is active and prevents sinking of the stick in the soft material, and a second folded or folded position, wherein the stick plate substantially no Effect unfolds.

Furthermore, constructions are known (see, for example, the FR 2249686 , the DE 2027461 , the DE 2952149 or the US 3645553 ), in which the plate can be opened to a certain extent like a screen for a supporting position, and can be folded for a retracted position.

DARSTELLUNG DER ERFINDUNGPRESENTATION OF THE INVENTION

The invention is therefore u.a. the object of providing such an improved construction.

In particular, it concerns the improvement of an attachment for a stick, e.g. for alpine skiing or for cross-country skiing (eg Nordic or skating), but also for hiking poles or Nordic walking poles, with a top attachment, which preferably has an upwardly directed receiving area for a pole, a downwardly directed pole tip, and a stiff, extending substantially in a plane perpendicular or at an angle of between 60 - 120 ° to the axis of the pole tube plate area extending.

Such essays are for example made of (hard) plastic in an injection molding process produced. Normally, as stated, the plane of the plate is substantially perpendicular to the direction of the pole tube, but it is also possible to provide a slight inclination if necessary. This in particular such that the plane of the plate is tilted about an axis perpendicular to the direction of rotation and perpendicular to the pole tube, for example by being slightly raised behind. However, such an inclination is normally small, and the deviation from the pipe perpendicular position is normally less than 30 °, preferably less than 10 or 15 °.

The solution to this problem is achieved in that a separately formed and additional plate plate is arranged on the plate area such that it can be fixed both in a first position, as well as in at least a second, with respect to the first position substantially in the plane of the plate area shifted position, wherein in the second position, a larger bearing surface is effective on the ground than in the first position. By a larger contact surface is to be understood that preferably at least over a peripheral region of the plate of 90 °, particularly preferably of at least 180 °, the plate plate is beyond the plate area out and by moving the plate plate and this peripheral area is increased. The displacement also means that the enlargement is preferably asymmetric, that is, by moving the plate plate, the plate is substantially enlarged in one direction. It is typically the case with respect to the direction of backward side, which is enlarged.

The core of the invention is therefore to carry out the construction in two parts, so to speak, wherein a first part, the plate area, is rigid and to a certain extent provides the rigidity. A second part, the plate plate, is now fastened to this plate area in such a way that at least the said two or more positions with a different contact surface are possible. A first position, as well as a second position, wherein this second position provides a larger contact surface of the plate. In this way, a construction is ensured, in which the variability is possible without additional, entrained by the athlete components. In addition, results from this two-part Construction optimal stability and a simple, robust design.

Hartplastik bestehen.According to a first preferred embodiment of the invention, the attachment is characterized in that the plate plate is arranged on the underside of the plate area. Thus, essentially the plate plate must be fixed only from below to the plate area, and the plate area above it stabilizes the dish plate. The plate itself does not have to be completely stiff then, but may consist of a partially flexible material. Alternatively, however, the dish plate can also be made of a flex-resistant material, such as e.g. Hard plastic exist.

A particularly preferred embodiment of the attachment is characterized in that the plate portion has a concave curvature on its underside, and that the plate plate is fixed from below in such curvature that the in itself flat plate plate substantially the curved shape of the plate area in at least one of the two, preferably in both positions at least partially continues or takes over. Furthermore, this configuration results in a curvature of the dish plate in the attachment to the bottom, which on the one hand allows the dish plate to form itself plan, and to some extent produce the final shape only by the connection to the plate area, and further results due to the curvature of the dish plate after mounting a stabilization. The plate plate can bend much less after being attached by the curvature at a load.

Such on the underside concave or to some extent formed with a recess plate are known in particular in cross-country skiing. Typically, they are additionally formed asymmetrically, that is, the plate extends to some extent essentially only in the running direction to the rear. The curved shape of the plate leads to an optimal behavior in the ground when the stick is introduced obliquely into the ground to repel.

This embodiment is therefore advantageous because a dish plate to be produced inexpensively can be made available from a material which is in itself planar. For example, it is possible to make the plate plate from a flat plastic plate of thickness in the range of a few millimeters (cut, punch), and the actual three-dimensional optimal shaping is then specified only by the attachment of the dish plate on the plate area from below. To ensure this adaptation to the shape of the plate area, the means for attachment are preferably not arranged at the edge of the plate area but in the middle, ie slightly offset in the depth region, so that the plate plate effectively takes over the curvature of the plate area.

As already mentioned, the plate area is preferably designed asymmetrically. In this case, he is in particular to the front substantially not available and the main extension of the plate area is directed to the back. The plate area is particularly preferably circular, elliptical or approximately lens-shaped.

The plate plate may consist of a rigid material and already have their own three-dimensional shape. For example, the dish plate may be made of a substantially flexure-resistant material, such as e.g. Hard plastic, be formed, and thus be substantially rigid or hard. It is possible that the plate plate consists of the same material as the plate area, wherein it is preferred that the plate plate has substantially the same curvature as the plate area. However, it may, as already mentioned, preferably consist simply of a flat plate which is optionally flexible, so that its shape is predetermined on the pole by the attachment to the plate region. Preferably, the plate plate has a recess which is particularly preferably open on one side for the tip of the pole, respectively, and an extension which carries the pole tip. For example, this recess may be a U-shaped or V-shaped recess. The dish plate can be made of a plastic material, preferably made of PE, PET, PP, PU, PA or other thermoplastics or mixtures thereof, in particular preferably with a thickness in the range of 0.1-0.4 cm.

Preferably, according to a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the plate region has at least one, but preferably two or more, bores in a region offset rearwardly relative to the pole tube, wherein the plate plate has at least one front bore, but preferably a pair of front holes and at least one rear hole, but preferably a pair of rear holes, and wherein through these holes cross-fasteners, particularly preferably in the form of screws (or rivets, staples, pins, etc.) are provided, with which the plate plate on Plate area are attached. Of course, the reverse situation is possible, that is, the plate plate has only a pair of holes and the plate area over at least two successively arranged pairs of holes.

Preferably, however, the version in which the plate plate over several pairs (also more than two pairs possible for a plurality of different positions) of holes has, since then the plate area is not weakened by holes and also in a mounted plate plate from the straight unused holes are not visible from above.

According to an alternative embodiment, the plate region has only one bore, which is preferably arranged centrally. In addition, the dish plate and / or the plate area preferably has at least one means for preventing rotation of the dish plate on the plate area. Advantageously, the number of holes in the dish plate corresponds to the number of adjustment positions of the dish plate on the plate area. The at least one means for preventing rotation of the dish plate at the plate area may be, for example, a ribbed area or a toothing, wherein preferably the ribbing or toothing in the dish plate advantageously engages in a corresponding ribbing or toothing in the plate area. The ribbing or toothing can be provided in a peripheral region of the rear area, downwardly directed edge of the plate area. Such a ribbing brings along with the stabilization and anti-rotation has the further advantage that the stick plate in the snow or other soft ground gives a better grip or grip. In this alternative embodiment, it is preferably a hard or rigid or substantially flexible dish plate.

Klemmung).Incidentally, other mechanisms are also conceivable in principle, such as a running in the direction of rail, which, for example, on the bottom of the Shaped area respectively provided is provided, and in which a complementary rail, the plate plate is guided. About a snap mechanism or the like, for example, then the individual positions of the plate plate can be reached and set by, for example, a locking tongue is pressed down and thereby the plate plate can be moved on the rail to another detent position. Also possible is a stepless adjustment, in which case the determination can be made via a frictional connection (eg clamping).

In the case of the said holes, it proves to be advantageous if it is in each case a pair of holes (no rotation of the plate plate). It is also possible to use a central screw with an anti-twist device, which is e.g. in the form of a guide rail, groove / comb, knobs / recesses etc. may be executed. More preferably, the screws are screws in which a first screw in the screw pin has an internal thread and a second screw on the screw pin has a corresponding external thread, which engage in one another in the bore (s). It is possible that the first screw is rotatably mounted fixed in the plate area. An anti-rotation can also be achieved by alternative means, such as a ribbing or toothing in dish plate and / or plate area.

Preferably, in terms of size, shape, flexibility and / or color different plate plates can be attached.

According to a further preferred embodiment, the dish plate in the first position at the front edge directed to the front substantially does not protrude beyond the plate area, and laterally respectively at the rear edge directed towards the rear it protrudes between 0.2-1.5 cm above the plate area. If the plate in the second position is moved to the back, it protrudes at the rear edge directed to the rear between 0.5-2.5cm on the plate area.

As already explained, according to a preferred embodiment, the tip attachment consists of hard plastic (for example PE, PET, PP, PU, PA or other thermoplastics or mixtures thereof), and the tip attachment particularly preferably has at least one essentially vertically running top side Stiffening rib between the plate area and the receiving area.

Furthermore, the present invention relates to a method for adapting a ski pole, in particular for alpine skiing or for cross-country skiing, with an attachment, as described above, to different conditions in the ground, in particular different snow conditions.

The method is i.a. characterized in that for comparatively hard ground, the dish plate is arranged in the first position, and that for relatively soft ground, the dish plate is arranged in the second position.

Further preferred embodiments of the invention are described in the dependent claims.

WEGE ZUR AUSFÜHRUNG DER ERFINDUNGWAYS FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION

With reference to the figures, the invention will now be explained. The embodiments given below are intended to illustrate the invention, but should not be construed as limiting the true inventive concept as defined in the appended claims.

In Fig. 1 different views of the pole top of a cross-country pole according to a first embodiment of the invention are shown. Only the lower part of the stick is shown, the upper part with the handle is not visible for easier viewing. In Fig. 1a is a view from the back, wherein the "rear" is meant in the direction of the rearward side. The stick 2 comprises a pole tube 1, which is inserted into a tip attachment 3. The pole tube 1 is screwed into a receiving area 4, glued or pressed. The top attachment 3 consists for example of plastic and comprises on the one hand the already mentioned upwardly directed receiving area 4 and down over a projection 7 for receiving a pole tip 8. The stick tip 8 is configured as a hardened, preferably asymmetrically shaped metal tip (eg sintered carbide) or ceramic tip, which glued into this extension 7, pressed or is trapped.

Furthermore, the tip attachment 3 comprises a plate region 5, which is arranged substantially perpendicular to the direction of the pole tube 1. How this particular out Fig. 1d becomes visible, the plate area is designed asymmetrically, ie the front side 13 towards this plate area 5 is not available, while it has its rear end 14 its maximum extent. This is also the view from below (according to Fig. 1b as well as from the top view (as shown in FIG. Lc) can be seen. In order to support the plate area 5, which, as said, essentially protrudes only rearward, in particular under sporting conditions, a stiffening rib 6 is also arranged, which runs essentially vertically and between the receiving area 4 designed as a hollow cylinder and the plate area 5 on the upper side of the plate area 5 is arranged. This tip attachment 3 is preferably formed in one piece, ie the receiving area 4, the plate area 5, the rearwardly directed stiffening rib 6 and the extension 7 are configured as a single casting.

At this made of hard plastic casting (for example injection molding of a plastic such as PE, PET, PP, PU, PA or other thermoplastics or mixtures thereof) is now mounted on the bottom of a at least to some extent flexible plate plate 9. This plate plate 9 is in Fig. 1 shown in a first position in which the plate plate barely protrudes beyond the outer contour of the plate area 5. This first position is designated by the reference numeral 15 and named as the front position. As in particular from Fig. 1c it can be seen, the plate plate 9 is in this position to the front not at all on the outer contour of the plate area 5 out, on the side and to the rear but a little.

In this context, the specific shape of the plate area 5 must be discussed in more detail. The plate area is on its underside, ie on the Stick tip 8 facing side, with an inner curvature, that is designed with a trough-shaped depression, ie it is three-dimensional conical shaped. This leads to an optimal intervention in the ground. As well as out Fig. 1d it can be seen, the plane of the plate portion 5 is not exactly perpendicular to the direction of the pole tube, but slightly pulled backwards. This is only an option.

Essential to this concave recess in the bottom is now the fact that it is possible according to the invention to attach the flexible plate plate 9 from below to the plate area 5, that the plate portion 5 of the plate plate 9 imposes this shape and the plate plate 9 continues this shape. This is possible by example, like this Fig. 1d , which is a section along the line AA in Fig. 1c is fastened via fastening screws 10. The fastening screws 10 are arranged symmetrically on both sides in two holes in the plate area 5. The plate plate 9 in turn has corresponding holes, via a pair of front holes 12 and a pair of rear holes 17. The screws 10 pass through both the holes in the plate area as well as either the front or the rear holes in the plate. The screws 10 are designed so that, as in Fig. 1d By way of example, the upper screw 10 'has an internal thread on its screw pin, and the lower screw 10 "with its screw pin, which has an external thread, engages in this internal thread, thus preventing a screw end from projecting outwards Prevents the risk of contamination.

The plate plate 9 is now pressed as a result of the attachment in the concave region of the underside of the plate portion 5 by the screws 10 to the underside of the plate portion 5 that the per se flat plate plate 9 is bent and the concave shape of the plate area 5 takes over. The plate plate 9 may alternatively or additionally be preformed. In order to additionally ensure optimum adaptation in the front region, the plate plate 9 has a recess 11 for the extension. 7

In this way it is possible to have a very simple construction of such Dish plate 9 to provide. The plate plate 9 can be punched or cut out as a plastic plate from a large plate, and must first have no three-dimensional shape. The three-dimensional shaping is determined only by the attachment to the plate area 5, but it can also already be easily preformed or produced by injection molding. Preferably, the plate plate 9 or 9b has a sufficient flexibility to take over this imposed form in the attachment to the plate area 5, but is sufficiently intrinsically stiff, so that in the edge region in particular in the Fig. 2 shown in the rear position 16 when using no significant deformation results.

How out Fig. 1b it can be seen, the plate plate 9 in Fig. 1 shown in the front position 15. This means that the plate plate 9 is attached via the two rear holes 17 on the plate area.

Der Gewinn an Auflagefläche beträgt ca. 10-40%.In Fig. 2 is now shown in corresponding representations a - d, the second possible position in which the plate plate 9 is fixed in the rear position 16 on the plate area 5. For this purpose, the plate plate 9 is fixed with the two front holes 12 via the screws 10 on the plate area 5. The plate plate 9 is thus displaced by approximately 0.5-1.5 cm to the rear and is now in particular on the rear side substantially over the outer contour of the plate area 5 before. In this second position 16 so a much larger contact surface of the plate is provided. Nevertheless, the plate plate 9, as this particular from the Fig. 2a and 2d it can be seen, furthermore, the concave shape, which is given by the lower side structure of the plate area. In addition, the plane of the plate is displaced by the displaced to the rear plate plate substantially in a position perpendicular to the pole tube, which is very beneficial for soft surfaces. In this rear position, the plate plate 9 protrudes about 0.5-1.5 cm beyond the outer contour to the rear side 14. The gain in contact area is about 10-40%.

Of course, the dish plate 9 can also be completely removed if the substrate, e.g. is very hard, then the weight load is minimal.

The use of such a stick, respectively, its conversion between the two positions, designed in a particularly simple manner now. Represents the athlete either at the beginning of a competition or during a tour, the conditions of the ground have changed significantly, it can be done using a simple screwdriver or other tool depending on the heads of the screws, for example if the ground has softened during the day , starting from a forward position as in Fig. 1 shown, loosen the two screws 10, push the dish plate to the second position to the rear and again firmly with the same mounting screws, but now using the front holes, attach to the top attachment 3. With a few simple steps, an optimal adaptation to the conditions can be made. Incidentally, for further simplification, it is possible either to replace the screws at least on their upper side with small wing nuts or the like, so that no additional tools are required, or it is possible, for example, the tool for changing the two positions directly on the floor (for example Handle or on the pole) so that it is always carried and does not need to be searched. Also possible are so-called push buttons, which can be made purely of plastic (eg tongues, which can be pushed in, also spring-loaded possible), and which intervene in corresponding recesses, widenings or extensions of scenes, dovetail guides, toothings, etc. resp. engage.

In addition, the proposed construction is advantageous in that different dish plates with different shape, size, flexibility, color, etc. can be attached to this top attachment 3. For example, it is possible to provide different colors for different sizes, and since the plate plates 9, if they are not mounted on the underside of the plate area, simply flat slices, they can easily be carried in different sizes. Depending on the conditions, stock pans of significantly different size can be made available. These can then in turn be placed in two positions, depending on the conditions attached.

In Figures 3 . 4 and 5 different views of a second embodiment of the invention are shown. In each case only the plate attachment without stick is shown.

The canopy axis S runs, as it were, through the receiving area 4. Essentially perpendicular to it, runs a plate plane E. The in Figures 3-5 shown plate plate 9 and 9a is rigid or hard made of hard plastic and has substantially the same downwardly concave curvature as the plate area. 5

An adjustment mark 23 is in FIG. 3 marked with S (small), since the plate in relation to the three possible adjustment positions when determining the plate plate 9 and 15 through the front bore 12 has the smallest diameter or the smallest area. In the FIG. 4 shown center adjustment position is marked on the Verstellmarkierungsbereich 23 with the letter M (medium), since the adjustment position in the central bore 20 an intermediate plate size of the plate portion 5 together with the outstanding under the plate area 5 area of the plate plate 9 and 19 between the small and the large plate size allows. In FIG. 5 is the rearmost position of the three possible adjustment positions shown, the rear hole 17 is used for the determination. This rear adjustment position is marked on the adjustment mark 23 with L (large), since the fixed in the rear position plate plate 16 causes the largest of the three plate sizes.

In the Figures 3-5 shown lateral edge portions of the plate plate 9 have a transverse continuous or interrupted in the middle in a section ribbing consisting of ribs 21, and grooves 22, which in the essay on the plate area 5 in a downwardly projecting and rear peripheral edge provided toothing of the plate portion 5, which also consists of corresponding ribs 26 and grooves 27, engages. This ensures that despite a single illustrated central hole in the plate area 5, the plate plate 9 is protected against rotation, since the rib prevents a displacement of the plate plate 9 relative to the plate area 5. In addition, the ribbed side edges increased grip on the surface, even with the plate plate removed. The ribbing also extends over a portion of the plate surface, wherein the proportion of ribbed surface 24 in relation to the un-ribbed surface 25 of the plate plate 9 may vary. The Adjustment marking 23 is preferably arranged in the rear area of the dish plate, in particular preferably in a central position substantially parallel to the course of the stiffening rib 6 and substantially perpendicular to the bar axis A. The bore in the plate area is preferably arranged centrally in this second embodiment, particularly preferably in one Escape with the stiffening rib 6 and the optionally arranged Verstellmarkierungsbereich 23. The recess 18 for the mandrel of the pole tip is in the FIGS. 3b, e, f, 4b, e, f and 5b, e, f clearly visible.
