Where a spring is associated with the keying means, pushing of the knob 24 to depress the depressible actuator 16 is possible in any position of the knob 24 within the aperture 22, as well as when the knob 24 is positioned at the centre of the aperture.
- the present invention provides an electrical switch assembly in which several switch functions are possible using a single switch knob.
- the knob is capable of translation movement, rotational movement, and depression (returnable push movement) relative to a cover plate 20. Additionally, translational movement of the knob does not cause the knob to tilt relative to the cover plate.
Claims (14)
- Eine elektrische Schalter-Baugruppe, die aufweist eine Grundplatte (12); drückbare Schaltflächen (14), die auf der Grundplatte angebracht sind und elektrische Schaltkontakte umfassen; eine Abdeckplatte (20), die von der Grundplatte beabstandet ist und sich in einer Ebene im Wesentlichen parallel zu der Ebene der Grundplatte erstreckt; eine Öffnung (22) in der Abdeckplatte mit einem Zentrum, das mit einer Achse (A) ausgerichtet ist, wobei die Achse im Wesentlichen senkrecht zu der Ebene der Grundplatte ist; einen Knopf (24), der sich auf der entgegengesetzten Seite der Abdeckplatte zu der Grundplatte befindet, wobei der Knopf einen Schaft (26) hat, der sich durch die Öffnung erstreckt, Betätigungsmittel (28), die an dem Knopfschaft an der entgegengesetzten Seite der Abdeckplatte zu dem Knopf befestigt sind, wobei die Betätigungsmittel abgeschrägte Oberflächen (30) an vorgegebenen Positionen haben; Betätigungsstäbe (32), die sich in einer Richtung im Wesentlichen parallel zu der Achse zwischen den Schaltflächen und den Betätigungsmitteln erstrecken, wobei zumindest einer der Stäbe selektiv in Kontakt gebracht werden kann mit einer zugeordneten der abgeschrägten Oberflächen bei einer Translationsbewegung des Knopfes weg von dem Zentrum der Öffnung, um die assoziierte Schaltftäche über den zumindest einen Stab zu drücken; dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Öffnung eine vorgegebene Größe und Form hat, um die Translationsbewegung des Knopfschafts in der Öffnung auf vorgegebene Richtungen weg von dem Zentrum der Öffnung zu beschränken, und dadurch, dass die elektrische Schalter-Baugruppe weiter aufweist eine Kardankupplung (34), die sich zwischen dem Knopfschaft und der Grundplatte erstreckt, wobei die Kardankupplung in der Länge erweiterbar ist; ein erstes Kardangelenk (36), das zwischen der Kardankupplung und dem Knopfschaft verbunden ist; ein zweites Kardangelenk (38), das zwischen der Kardankupplung und der Grundplatte verbunden ist; wobei eine Translationsbewegung des Knopfes weg von dem Zentrum der Öffnung veranlasst, dass sich die Kardankupplung in der Länge erweitert.
- Eine elektrische Schalter-Baugruppe gemäß Anspruch 1, die weiter aufweist einen drückbaren Aktuator (16), der an der Grundplatte (12) angebracht ist, zum Betätigen einer Anzahl von elektrischen Lasten; einen Codierer (18), der rotierbar auf der Grundplatte angebracht ist und mit dem Aktuator auf der entgegengesetzten Seite des Aktuators zu der Grundplatte in Kontakt gebracht werden kann, wobei der Codierer relativ zu dem Aktuator um die Achse (A) rotierbar ist, um die elektrische Ladung zu bestimmen, die von dem Aktuator zu betätigen ist; wobei das zweite Kardangelenk (38) mit dem Codierer auf der Grundplatte verbunden ist; und wobei die Öffnung (22) eine vorgegebene Größe und Form hat, um eine Rotation des Knopfschafts (26) an jeder Position in der Öffnung zu ermöglichen.
- Eine elektrische Schalter-Baugruppe gemäß Anspruch 2, wobei der Codierer (18) einen kronenartigen äußeren Rand (44) hat, der durch einen Leser (46) geht, der auf der Grundplatte (12) angebracht ist, bei einer Rotation des Codierers.
- Eine elektrische Schalter-Baugruppe gemäß Anspruch 3, wobei der Codierer (18) im Wesentlichen becherförmig ist.
- Eine elektrische Schalter-Baugruppe gemäß Anspruch 3 oder Anspruch 4, wobei der Leser ein optischer Leser oder ein magnetischer Leser ist.
- Eine elektrische Schalter-Baugruppe gemäß einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, wobei die Kardankupplung (34) zwei sich axial erstreckende Teile (40, 42) aufweist, die miteinander verbunden sind, und wobei das erste Kardangelenk (36) an einem Ende eines Teils (40) befestigt ist und das zweite Kardangelenk (38) an einem Ende des anderen Teils (42) befestigt ist.
- Eine elektrische Schalter-Baugruppe gemäß Anspruch 6, wobei die zwei Teile (40, 42) im Wesentlichen identisch sind.
- Eine elektrische Schalter-Baugruppe gemäß Anspruch 6 oder Anspruch 7, wobei die zwei Teile (40, 42) an angrenzenden Enden miteinander verzahnt sind, die entgegengesetzte Enden zu den Kardangelenken (36, 38) sind, durch Mittel, die die Erweiterung in der Länge der Kardankupplung (34) ermöglichen und eine gleichzeitige Rotation der zwei Teile sicherstellen.
- Eine elektrische Schalter-Baugruppe gemäß Anspruch 8, wobei das Verzahnungs-Mittel eine Feder-und-Nut-Anordnung ist.
- Eine elektrische Schalter-Baugruppe gemäß Anspruch 8 oder Anspruch 9, wobei das Verzahnungs-Mittel eine elastische Verbindung zwischen den zwei Teilen (40, 42) der Kardankupplung (34) umfasst.
- Eine elektrische Schalter-Baugruppe gemäß einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, wobei die Öffnung (22) im Wesentlichen X-förmig ist, wobei sich die Arme (22A-D) im Wesentlichen parallel zueinander erstrecken.
- Eine elektrische Schalter-Baugruppe gemäß einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, wobei die Öffnung (22) im Wesentlichen Y-förmig ist.
- Eine elektrische Schalter-Baugruppe gemäß einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 12, wobei die Betätigungsstäbe (32) in einer axialen Richtung in Röhren (33) verschiebbar sind, die relativ zu der Grundplatte (12) fest sind, und die sich im Wesentlichen parallel zu der Achse (A) erstrecken.
- Eine elektrische Schalter-Baugruppe gemäß einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 13, die weiter elastische Mittel aufweist, die auf den Knopf (24) wirken, um den Knopf in das Zentrum der Öffnung (22) zu bringen.
