A trim panel (11) of a vehicle interior comprising a compartment able to be closed by a cover (2), wherein the cover (2) comprises a closure mechanism (1) with which the cover (2) can be latched on two sides to the trim panel (11) by means of movable locking mechanisms (9, 9') actuatable by an actuating means (8), wherein the movable locking mechanisms (9, 9') and the actuating means (8) are disposed on the trim panel (11), characterized in that the locking mechanisms (9, 9') comprise counter-rotating levers (4, 4') connected together by a single linkage (6) and that an actuating means (8) is only arranged on one locking mechanism (9, 9').
  2. The trim panel (11) according to claim 1, characterized in that the levers (4, 4') comprise clasps (3, 3') which interact in locking manner with notches (10, 10') arranged on the cover (2).
  3. The trim panel (11) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that both locking mechanisms (9, 9') can be actuated by a release mechanism (7) which is preferably arranged on the trim panel (11).
  4. The trim panel (11) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the actuating means (8) is an electrical or mechanical means.
  5. The trim panel (11) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the actuating means (8) is an electromagnet, a motor, a Bowden cable or a spring-loaded element.
