Bei solchen bekannten Rollenpressen, siehe z. B. Broschüre "Rollenpressen" Nr. 2-300d der KHD Humboldt Wedag AG vom September 1994 oder z. B.
Beim Betrieb derartiger Rollenpressen sind die Oberflächen der Walzen aufgrund der hohen Pressdrücke und Presskräfte einer hohen Verschleißbeanspruchung ausgesetzt, besonders dann, wenn die Loswalze je nach Gutmaterialzufuhr zum Walzenspalt seitliche Ausweichbewegungen macht, wobei sich dann aufgrund der feststehenden Festwalze auch die Mittellage des Walzenspaltes und der aus diesem unten austretenden gepressten Gutmaterialschülpe ändert. Die Ausweichbewegung der Loswalze ist besonders dann groß, stoßartig und für den Oberflächenverschleiß der Walzen sowie für den Betrieb der Rollenpresse abträglich, wenn in den Walzenspalt ein unzerkleinerbarer Fremdkörper, z. Das heißt, bei der erfindungsgemäßen Rollenpresse ist die Losrollenseitenhälfte in der Maschinenmitte praktisch komplett gespiegelt. Bei dieser Maschinenkonstruktion weichen beide Loswalzen bei sich ändernder Pressschülpendicke und z. B. bei einem Fremdkörperdurchgang durch den Walzenspalt immer spiegelsymmetrisch zum ursprünglichen Walzenspalt aus.
