Bei einer Vorrichtung, insbesondere Plissee oder Jalousie, zum mindestens teilweisen Verschatten mit einer ersten Schiene (11) und einer zweiten Schiene (12), mit einem zwischen der ersten Schiene (11) und der zweiten Schiene (12) angeordneten Verschattungselement (13), mit lang gestreckten ersten Halteelementen (14), an denen die erste Schiene (11) und die zweite Schiene (12) verschiebbar gehalten sind, wobei die ersten Halteelemente (14) rechtwinklig zur Längsachse der Schienen (11, 12) an den voneinander abgewandten Enden der Schienen (11, 12) angeordnet sind, lässt sich ein Durchbiegen der Schienen zuverlässig vermeiden, wenn zwischen den ersten Halteelementen (14) mindestens ein lang gestrecktes zweites Halteelement (15) rechtwinklig zur Längsachse der Schienen (11, 12) angeordnet ist, wobei die erste Schiene (11) und/oder die zweite Schiene (12) verschiebbar an dem zweiten Halteelement (15) gehalten ist.
