Abstract

Es wird ein Seil beschrieben, welches insbesondere als Tragseil für Seilbahnen geeignet ist. Das Seil umfasst einen Kern (31) und mehrere den Kern umgebenden Aussenstränge, welche beispielsweise aus mehreren Drähten (32.1...32.6, 34.1...34.12) bestehen. Gekennzeichnet ist das Seil durch eine integrierte Frostschutzeinrichtung (33.1...33.6), welche von einem Seilende her bedienbar ist, bevorzugt um Eisbildung an einer Seilaussenseite zu verhindern bzw. gezielt zu entfernen. Die Frostschutzeinrichtung (33.1...33.6) ist dabei bevorzugt in zumindest einer der Aussenlitzen integriert, kann jedoch auch im Bereich des Kerns (31) des Seils oder in Einlagen integriert sein, welche Zwischenräume zwischen einzelnen Drähten (32.1...32.6, 34.1...34.12) des Seils ausfüllen. Da die Frostschutzeinrichtung (33.1...33.6) bevorzugt als Widerstandsheizung ausgebildet ist, lässt sich ihre Heizintensität durch Stromfluss genau einstellen. Durch längs des Seils veränderliche Querschnitte oder veränderliche Materialeigenschaften der Heizdrähte (33.1...33.6) ist es möglich, besonders intensiv zu heizende Abschnitte des Seils konzentriert zu heizen. Auf diese Weise kann der gesamte Energieverbrauch der beschriebenen Vorrichtung möglichst klein gehalten werden. Dabei können unterschiedlichste Konstellationen von Litzendrähten (32.1...32.6, 34.1...34.12), dem Kern (31) des Seils und den Frostschutzeinrichtungen (33.1...33.6) von der Integration der Frostschutzeinrichtungen (33.1...33.6) im Kern (31) des Seils bis zu deren Positionierung auf Teilen der äusseren Oberfläche des Seils auftreten.
