Claims (4)

  1. Fastening device for fastening a movable window pane (5) of a motor vehicle to a window lifter mechanism, in which fastening device a position of the window pane (5) transversely with respect to the movement direction of the window lifter mechanism can be selected, in which fastening device the selected position can be fixed, and in which fastening device furthermore the window pane (5), which for the fixing thereof is provided with a cutout (31), can be fixed by means of a securing element which engages into the cutout, characterized by the following features:
    - the securing element is formed by a detent part (13) whose detent (25) engages into the cutout (31) of the window pane (5) as the window pane (5) is inserted,
    - the detent part (13) is received by a holding element (11) and is movable in the holding element (11) in a direction approximately perpendicular to the movement direction of the window pane (5),
    - the holding element (11) is provided with a toothing (33) on its side facing towards the detent part (13),
    - a locking part (15) is connected to the detent part (13), which locking part (15) likewise has a toothing (35) on its side facing towards the toothing (33) of the holding element (11),
    - the locking part (15) is designed and arranged such that, as the window pane (5) is inserted and latched over the lower edge thereof, said locking part (15) is pressed against the holding element (11), with the toothing (35) of the locking part (15) engaging into the toothing (33) of the holding element (11) so as to secure the selected position.
  2. Fastening device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the detent part (13) is of U-shaped design with the detent (25) pointing into the space enclosed by the U limbs (21, 23).
  3. Fastening device according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the detent part (13) is connected to the holding element (11) by means of a C-shaped or dovetail-shaped guide (17).
  4. Fastening device according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the detent part (13) and the locking part (15) are composed of plastic, and the locking part (15) is fastened to the detent part (13) by means of at least one flexible connecting element (37).
