Claims (20)

  1.     the locking element (18) comprises a locking pin configured on one of the two arm sections (14; 15), for example on the first arm section (14), and wherein the locking element (18) further comprises at least one locking hole configured complementary to the locking pin and at a predefined location in the other of the two arm sections (15; 14), for example in the second arm section (15), wherein the locking pin can be received in the locking hole so as to block a relative movement of the two arm sections (14, 15) respective one another and thus a relative movement of the two extensions (11, 12) of the sealing element (10) respective one another upon a predefined length of the bridge section (13).

    the locking element (18) comprises at least one screw which can be screwed into the telescoping section such that the screw connects the two arm sections (14, 15) of the bridge section (13) together and thus blocks a relative movement of the two arm sections (14, 15) respective one another and a relative movement of the two extensions (11, 12) of the sealing element (10) respective one another.
  8. The sealing element (10) according to claim 7, wherein
    the at least one screw of locking element (18) simultaneously serves to fix the sealing element (10) at the jamb profile (1).
  9. The sealing element (10) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein
    the bridge section (13) comprises at least one elastic section which is integrated into said bridge section (13) such that upon a mechanical force acting in the longitudinal direction of the bridge section (13), the distance between the two extensions (11, 12) of the sealing element (10) can be reduced.
  10. The sealing element (10) according to claim 9, wherein
    the at least one elastic section is configured such that upon release, the length of the bridge section (13) assumes a maximum value at which the two extensions (11, 12) are the farthest apart from one another and that upon the elastic section being loaded, same deforms such that the two extensions (11, 12) exhibit a predefinable minimum distance from one another.

  12. The sealing element (10) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein
    the bridge section (13) exhibits a maximum length of 58 mm, and preferably 53 mm, and a minimum length of 48 mm, and preferably 43 mm.
  13. The sealing element (10) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein
    the first extension (11) is configured such that it can be inserted into at least a part of the outer shell (1a) forming part of the jamb profile (1) and can thus be connected to said outer shell (1a) and/or wherein the second extension (12) is configured such that it can be inserted into at least a part of the inner shell (1b) forming part of the jamb profile (1) and can thus be connected to said inner shell (1b).
  14. The sealing element (10) according to claim 13, wherein
