Abstract

A stop rule for circular saw benches includes a profiled hollow body extending longitudinally with a substantially right-angled cross section, on which means are located for the attachment thereof to a table. One side of the profiled hollow body is designed as a guide member with a coplanar extension extending therefrom, which has a guide rule on the front edge thereof for low workpieces. Such guide rule extends vertically at right angles from the table, on which the guide member lies when the stop rule is in a horizontal position. The extension protruding sideways has a horizontal contact surface in the horizontal position of the stop rule, on which surface a vertically adjustable hold-down device for low work pieces is connected.

Description

DE-A 195 15 829 ).The invention relates to a stop rule with hold-down for table circular saws according to the preamble of claim 1 (see, for example DE-A 195 15 829 ).

Subject of the DE-B 10 2005 024 111 the applicant is a stop ruler for table saws, which can be used in both a standing and in a lying position, so that in addition to high workpieces and narrow and low workpieces can be edited. In the latter case, there is a risk that the workpieces loose their contact with the machine table in the area of the saw blade and dodge upwards, which can lead not only to inaccuracies and incorrect machining, but also to accidents.

The invention has for its object to remedy this situation and the stop ruler in such a way that especially narrow and low workpieces are held at their free end so that they can not be detached from the machine table during processing.

To solve this problem, a vertically adjustable hold-down is mounted according to the invention on the stop rule, which is mounted on a horizontal support surface of the lateral extension of the stop rule in its lying position.

Preferably, the hold-down consists of a profile strip with a leg projecting vertically upwards, which has a scissors joint on the horizontal support surface the extension or on a base plate of the hold-down is fixed, which in turn can be removably mounted on the support surface.

The main advantage of the invention is that the stop rule is equipped with a hold-down, which is built so compact especially thanks to the scissors joint, that it can be accommodated on the relatively narrow contact surface of the stop rule and in height a small space in Claim takes. The hold-down can be an integral part of the stop ruler or be removably attached via its base plate on the support surface. The scissors joint is supported via elastic return means against the support surface and the base plate. The return means are preferably made of leaf springs, which also have a small space requirement.

To lock the scissors joint in its resting on the workpiece printing position, a locking lever which is parallel to the vertical leg of the profile strip and is firmly connected to the hinge axis of the scissors joint, wherein the hinge axis, the two levers of the scissors joint in the locking position against each other spanning thread Has.

FIG. 1 shows a stop rule 10, similar to the stop rule according to DE-B 10 2005 024 111 is formed and can be mounted on a machine table 12 a table saw. There it serves to guide strip-shaped workpieces.

The stop rule 10 consists of a hollow profile body 14 which extends in the longitudinal direction and has a substantially rectangular or square cross-section with a central cavity 16 and a smaller, lateral cavity 18. Profiled grooves 20 and 20 'are formed in the profile hollow body 14 in a known manner and serve for the engagement of fastening means (not shown) on the machine table 12.

One side of the hollow profile body 14 is formed as a guide leg 22 with coplanar protruding extension 24, which has at its front edge a guide bar 26 for low workpieces. In the profile hollow body 14 laterally projecting extension 24 of the small cavity 18 is formed. In the in FIG. 1 shown, lying position of the stop rule 10 of the guide leg 22 rests on the machine table 10, so that the guide ruler 26 projects at right angles from the machine table 12 upwards.

In the larger cavity 16 with a rectangular or square cross section, a carriage, not shown, is mounted, which can be moved by means of a slider 28 with handle 30 in the longitudinal direction of the stop rule 10. Further details are in DE-B 10 2005 024 111 illustrated and explained. Via the slide 28, which engages in a Durchgriffsnut 32, a driver finger 34 can be moved in a longitudinal groove 35 of the guide ruler 26 to advance in the lying position of the stop rule 10, a low workpiece on the machine table 12.

In the embodiment of FIGS. 1 to 4 the stop rule 10 is equipped with an integrated hold-down device 36 which is mounted on the horizontal support surface 38 of the laterally projecting extension 24. The hold-down device 36 consists of an approximately Z-shaped profile strip 40, which is assigned to the front part of the stop rule 10 in the feed direction. The profile strip 40 has a leg 42 projecting vertically upwards, which is fastened on the horizontal bearing surface 38 of the extension 24 via a scissors joint 44. From the lower edge of the vertical leg 42 is an angle bar 46 with downward projecting Andruckleiste 48, which in FIG. 2 can be seen. The pressure bar 48 is arranged with a very small distance in front of the guide bar 26, so that even very narrow workpieces can be detected and edited.

The scissors joint 44 is composed of two levers 50, which have an in FIG. 2 schematically indicated hinge axis 52 are interconnected. The upwardly facing ends of the two levers 50 are hinged to the vertical leg 42 of the blank holder 36. This is for the one lever 50 in the Figures 2 and 3 left hinge point 54, while a slot 56 is provided for the other lever 50 on the right side.

Because the scissors joint 44 due to the described and especially in FIG. 3 apparent linkages on the profile strip 40 does not protrude beyond the upper edge of the vertical leg 42, the space is limited in height so that the stop rule 10 can be used without restrictions in its standing position in which the guide leg 22 perpendicular to the machine table 12 stands.

The lower ends of the two levers 50 of the scissors link 44 are each supported in a bearing block 58 which is mounted on the horizontal support surface 38. How out FIG. 3 As can be seen, one of the two levers 50 is in turn pivotally mounted via a fixed hinge pin 60 in the associated bearing block 58, while the other lever 50 is mounted with its hinge pin 60 'in a slot 62 slidably.

FIG. 3 further shows that in each bearing block 58, a leaf spring package 64 is attached, the free end 66 engages the underside of the associated lever 50 of the scissors joint 44.

To lock the scissors link 44 in the resting on the workpiece pressure position of the blank 36, a locking lever 68 is provided which extends parallel to the vertical leg 42 of the profile strip 40. One end of the latching lever 68 is fixedly connected to the hinge axis 52 of the scissors hinge 44, said hinge axis 52 has a not further shown, known per se thread which braces the two levers 50 of the scissors hinge 44 against each other in the locked position.

The free end of the locking lever 68 is how FIG. 4 shows, angled to the vertical leg 42 so that it in the narrow space between the vertical leg 42 and the opposite, vertical wall 70 of the hollow profile body 14 (see. FIG. 1 ) can be detected by hand to the locking lever 68 from its release position to the locked position and to turn in reverse. The angled, free end of the locking lever 68 is provided with a recessed grip 72.

On the upper edge of the vertical leg 42 of the profile strip 40, a pressure plate 74 is attached, via which the profile strip 40 can be adjusted by means of a thumb pressure against the spring force down to press the pressure bar 48 against the workpiece. In this position, the hold-down device 36 is locked by moving the locking lever 68. When sawing the workpiece is advanced over the driving finger 34 to the saw blade, wherein the driving finger 34 passes under the lower edge of the pressure bar 48. To release the hold 36 of the locking lever 68 is pivoted back to its release position in which then lift the leaf springs 64 via the scissors joint 44, the profile strip 40 in its initial position.

In the variant of FIGS. 5 and 6 the hold-down device 36 is removably attached to the support surface 38 of the stop rule 10, so that it can be removed quickly when tilted saw blade of the table saw. For this purpose, the hold-down device 36 has a horizontal base plate 76, from which the two bearing blocks 58, which are formed integrally therewith, protrude upwards. The two leaf spring assemblies 64 are each secured in a recess of the base plate 76 below the associated bearing block 58, by means of a hexagon socket screw 78, the threaded pin is screwed into a centering bolt 80. For fixing the base plate 76 and thus the hold-36 on the support surface 38 serve two captive fixing screws 82, one of which in FIG. 7 is shown. Here it can be seen that the fixing screw 82 consists of a sleeve 86 which is screwed with a threaded shaft 88 in a threaded bore of the base plate 76. In the sleeve 86, a collar pin 90 is arranged vertically movable, the threaded end 92 is screwed in the mounted position of the blank 36 in a threaded bore of the extension 24 of the guide leg 22. The upper end of the collar bolt 90 is fixed in a knurled nut 94, for example, glued. When loosening the fixing screw 82, this can only be raised to the stop of its collar 96 on an inner shoulder 98 of the sleeve 86.

In the mounted state of the blank holder 36, the two centering pins 80 engage in corresponding centering bores of the bearing surface 38.

The FIGS. 5 and 6 show that on the base plate 76, two elastically resilient end stop members 100 are attached made of polyamide, which prevent a hard impact of the locking lever 68 on the base plate 76 and on the support surface 38.

In the FIGS. 1 and 6 Finally, it is indicated that in a part of the upper edge of the vertical leg 42 of the profile strip 40, a step 84 is incorporated, in which the handle 30 can be retracted in a stationary position of the stop rule 10 when the driver fingers 34 are moved as far as possible after should.
