Description

The present invention relates to an assembly for a barred grid, a tool for assembling such an assembly, and a barred grid comprising at least one such assembly.

The invention therefore applies to the design and manufacture of a grid bar, this regardless of its destination, for example that this grid is a fence element or a gate element, or a window protection grille or other.

A grid rod is generally constituted by substantially vertical bars and substantially horizontal bars also called "smooth". The vertical bars are arranged at a distance from each other and the rails are arranged transversely relative to the vertical bars. To secure a vertical bar and a bar, they are usually welded. This weld line must then be painted. This weld line that forms a bead generates a lack of aesthetics, as well as a zone of mechanical weakness. In particular, after its installation, a fence consisting of such a grid rod may suffer efforts that can deteriorate the weld lines.

The techniques described by the documents are also known WO-97/11241 , U.S. 4,982,932 , U.S. 4,846,600 and FR-626 176 which concern modes of assembly of a horizontal bar on a vertical bar or the technique described by the document U.S. 3,861,274 concerning a tool for mounting a fence.

An object of the present invention is to provide an assembly for a bar grid which does not have the drawbacks of the prior art.

For this purpose, there is provided an assembly for a bar grating according to claim 1.

Advantageously, when the horizontal bar or the bar is fitted into the vertical bar, the axis of the hole is substantially parallel to the axis of the vertical bar.

Advantageously, the securing means is a nail or a screw or a pin or any device having an axis.

  • filetage ménagé sur ledit axe et destiné à venir en contact avec une surface intérieure dudit barreau vertical et/ou avec ledit barreau horizontal au niveau dudit trou;
According to an advantageous solution, said blocking means belong to the following group:
  • threading formed on said axis and intended to come into contact with an inner surface of said vertical bar and / or with said horizontal bar at said hole;
  • at least one notch intended to come into contact with an inner surface of said vertical bar and / or with said horizontal bar at said hole.

Such a solution is sufficiently effective to ensure the blocking position of the axis in the hole of the horizontal bar, this in particular when the grid is intended to constitute a fence element.

Indeed, once the gate mounted as a closing element, it is fixed and is subject only to rare and / or weak solicitations. intensity. Consequently, it is very unlikely that the shocks and / or vibrations likely to be exerted on the fence are sufficient to cause a gradual withdrawal of the axis from the hole of the horizontal bar.

This analysis is of particular interest insofar as, as will become clearer later, the assembly of a grid according to the invention is made in particular to assemble two horizontal bars (or smooth) on a plurality of vertical bars. In this case, one of the axes is introduced by one of the ends of the vertical bar, while the other axis is introduced by the opposite end of the vertical bar. It is understood that one of the axes (the one introduced from above), under the effect of gravity combined with possible vibrations, is reluctant to withdraw from the hole of the corresponding horizontal bar. On the other hand, the axis introduced by the lower end of the vertical bar would tend to gradually withdraw from the hole of the corresponding horizontal bar under the effect of vibrations combined with the effect of gravity.

The blocking means listed above are therefore sufficiently effective for a grid intended to constitute a closing element.

On the other hand, if the grid is intended to constitute an element of a mobile assembly, as is the case when the grid according to the invention is a portal element for example, the mobility of the assembly in which is integrated the grid can generate repeated vibrations, even regular.

It may then be necessary to provide locking means other than those listed above and / or additional thereof.

According to the invention, said locking means advantageously comprise a deformable element intended to be mounted in force against an inner surface of the vertical bar, so as to oppose the withdrawal of said axis from said hole.

Thus, the establishment of the axis in the corresponding hole takes place in a direction of introduction which causes the force of the deformable element against the inner surface of the vertical bar, and the deformable element once deformed exerts a force on the axis which opposes the stresses (and / or absorbs these stresses) exerted on the axis directed in a direction opposite to the direction of introduction.

Selon l'invention, ledit élément déformable prend la forme d'une extension radiale dudit axe destiné à s'écraser contre ladite surface intérieure.According to the invention, said deformable element takes the form of a radial extension of said axis intended to crash against said inner surface.

According to an advantageous variant, said deformable element takes the form of a washer attached to an abutment integral with said axis, said washer being preferably made of an elastically deformable material.

  • une fonction de réaction tendant à retenir l'axe selon une direction opposée à la direction d'introduction de l'axe ;
According to this variant, the introduction of the axis causes a deformation of the washer in contact with the inner surface of the vertical bar, the material of the washer extending between the stop and the inner surface of the vertical bar. At this stage, the elastically deformable material of the washer taking place between the stop and the inner surface of the vertical bar has two functions:
  • a reaction function tending to retain the axis in a direction opposite to the direction of introduction of the axis;
  • a vibration damping function that can be exerted on the axis via the surface of the vertical bar.

The invention also proposes a tool for assembling an assembly according to one of the preceding variants, characterized in that it comprises an insertion end and an external body, the insertion end being designed to penetrate in the vertical bar and being pierced a guide bore which substantially aligns with the through hole, the outer body being disposed in the extension of the insertion end, pierced with a thrust bore coaxial with the guide bore, and provided with of a piston.

Advantageously, the insertion end comprises a stop that abuts against the end of the vertical bar.

Advantageously, the free end of the insertion end is provided with a guide means movable in rotation about an axis substantially orthogonal to the axis of the guide bore.

The invention also proposes a bar grating comprising at least one assembly according to one of the preceding variants.

  • les figures 2 et 3 sont une coupe d'un outil selon l'invention ;
The characteristics of the invention mentioned above, as well as others, will appear more clearly on reading the following description of an exemplary embodiment, said description being given in relation to the attached drawings, among which:
  • the figure 1 is a section through a vertical plane of an assembly for a bar grid according to the invention, and
  • the Figures 2 and 3 are a section of a tool according to the invention;
  • the figures 4 and 5 are each a view in a vertical section of an alternative embodiment of a bar grid according to the invention.

The figure 1 represents a set 100 for a bar grid. The bar grid is here represented in a vertical position, that is to say in the position in which it is placed to produce a fence or gate element. The bar grid comprises a set of vertical bars 102 and a set of horizontal bars or smooth 104 which intersect. The vertical bar 102 is shown as being vertical but may have an angle with the vertical direction and in the same manner, the horizontal bar or the bar 104 is shown as being horizontal (e) and perpendicular to the vertical bar 102, but he / she may have a different angle, the different positions are related to the aesthetics of the grid bar.

The assembly for a bar grid 100 comprises a vertical bar 102, a horizontal bar or a bar bar 104, which crosses the vertical bar 102, and a securing means 106.

The vertical bar 102 is hollow and has a notch 116 formed in its wall. This notch 116 is provided to receive the horizontal bar or the bar 104. The dimensions and shape of the notch 116 are adapted to the shape and dimensions of the horizontal bar or the bar 104. The horizontal bar or the bar 104 can and thus fit into the vertical bar 102.

The horizontal bar or the bar 104 comprises a through hole 110. Here, the horizontal bar or the bar 104 is hollow, but it can be full. The hole 110 is dimensioned so that each end is at least partly inside the vertical bar 102 when the horizontal bar or the bar 104 is fitted into the vertical bar 102. The hole 110 is preferably cylindrical but it can take other forms.

Lorsque le barreau horizontal ou la lisse 104 est emboîté dans le barreau vertical 102, l'axe du trou 110 est sensiblement parallèle à l'axe du barreau vertical 102.When the horizontal bar or the bar 104 is fitted into the vertical bar 102, the axis of the hole 110 is substantially parallel to the axis of the vertical bar 102.

The securing means comprises an axis 106 whose section allows its penetration into the hole 110, and whose longitudinal profile is such that when inserted into the hole 110, the axis 106 exerts, on the horizontal bar or the smooth 104, a holding force F oriented towards the inside of the vertical bar 102. The holding force F thus tends to press the horizontal bar or the bar 104 into the bottom of the notch 116.

To exercise this sustaining force F , the securing means 106 is supported on the inner surface of the wall of the vertical bar 102. A first support is thus made downstream of the hole 110 and a second support is thus upstream of the hole 110.

The securing means 106 thus exerts a pressing force on the inner surface of the wall of the vertical bar 102 and this pressure force generates the holding force F .

The head 108 of the screw or nail then bears, upstream of the hole 110, against the inner surface of the wall of the vertical bar 102, the tip then bears, downstream of the hole 110, against the inner surface of the the wall of the vertical bar 102.

To ensure its locking, when in place, the securing means 106 comprises locking means 114 which come into contact with the inner surface of the wall of the vertical bar 102. In the case of a screw, the means of blocking 114 are made by the thread of the screw. In the case of a nail, a notched pin nail can be used, the locking means 114 then being made by the notches.

Indeed, the thread or the notch (s) can be arranged on the securing means of way to abut against the wall of the horizontal bar, and more precisely at the wall defining the hole 110.

It is further noted that the locking means illustrated on the figure 1 extend only in the lower part and up to the lower end of the securing means 106. However, the locking means may extend according to other conceivable arrangements, for example only from a certain height of the means. fastening and / or up to the head 108.

The assembly of the vertical bar 102 and the horizontal bar or the bar 104 with the securing means 106 is easy. It is not necessary to repaint the assembly 100 after assembly because there is no welding. The lack of welding line prevents the appearance of a weak area even when the fence or gate element is under stress.

The figures 4 and 5 each illustrate an alternative embodiment of a bar grid according to the invention.

As it appears in these figures, the configuration of the assembly of the vertical bar 102 with the horizontal (or smooth) bar 104 is achieved by means of a securing means introduced into the vertical bar 102 in a direction of introduction directed upwards, that is to say through the opening of the lower end 1020 of the vertical bar 102.

  • le barreau vertical 102 est creux et comporte une encoche 116 prévue pour recevoir le barreau horizontal 104, les dimensions et la forme de l'encoche étant adaptées à la forme et aux dimensions du barreau 104 en vue d'un emboîtement de ce dernier dans le barreau vertical 102 ;
  • le barreau horizontal 104 comprend un trou débouchant 110 dimensionné de manière à ce que chaque extrémité se trouve en partie à l'intérieur du barreau vertical 102 lorsque le barreau horizontal étant monté dans le barreau vertical, et l'axe du trou 110 étant sensiblement parallèle à l'axe du barreau vertical 102 ;
That being so, the set for barred grid 100 described by these figures has, according to the principle of the invention, the following characteristics:
  • the vertical bar 102 is hollow and has a notch 116 provided for receiving the horizontal bar 104, the dimensions and the shape of the notch being adapted to the shape and dimensions of the bar 104 to a nesting of the latter in the vertical bar 102;
  • the horizontal bar 104 comprises a through hole 110 dimensioned so that each end is partly inside the vertical bar 102 when the horizontal bar is mounted in the vertical bar, and the axis of the hole 110 is substantially parallel to the axis of the vertical bar 102;
  • the securing means comprise an axis 106 whose section allows it to penetrate the hole 110, and whose longitudinal profile is such that when it is inserted into the hole 110, the axis 106 exerts on the horizontal bar 104 a force of maintaining oriented towards the inside of the vertical bar 102 in order to press the horizontal bar into the bottom of the notch 116, this being because the securing means 106 bear on the inner surface of the wall of the vertical bar downstream and upstream of the hole 110.

  • une première extrémité 1060 correspondant à l'extrémité d'introduction du moyen de solidarisation, c'est-à-dire l'extrémité engagée en premier au travers du trou 110, cette extrémité venant et étant maintenue en appui contre la surface intérieure 1021 du barreau vertical 102 ;
  • une deuxième extrémité 1061 opposée à l'extrémité 1060.
As illustrated by figures 4 and 5 the securing means are in the form of a device comprising an axis having:
  • a first end 1060 corresponding to the insertion end of the securing means, that is to say the end engaged first through the hole 110, this end coming and being held in abutment against the inner surface 1021 of the vertical bar 102;
  • a second end 1061 opposite the end 1060.

It is noted that, similarly to the embodiment illustrated by the figure 1 , the end 1060 of the securing means may have locking means 114 in the form of a thread (in the case where the securing means 106 takes the form of a screw) or notches (in the case where the securing means 106 takes the form of a nail).

Indeed, the thread or the (s) notch (s) can be arranged on the means fastening so as to abut against the wall of the horizontal bar, and more precisely at the wall delimiting the hole 110.

In addition, the locking means illustrated on the figures 4 and 5 extend only in the upper part and up to the end 1060 of the securing means 106. However, the locking means may extend according to other conceivable arrangements, for example only from a certain height of the means. securing (from the first end 1060) and / or to the second end 1061.

It is further noted that according to the embodiments illustrated by the figures 1 , 4 and 5 , the hole 110 can be formed in the bar 104 so that, once the bar 104 is fully engaged in the vertical bar 102, the hole 110 extends along an axis not parallel to the axis of the vertical tube 102 and oriented in such a way as to prefigure the position of the securing means 106. This oblique direction of the securing means ensures that each of the ends of the securing means bear, directly or indirectly, against the inner surface 1021 of the bar 102, including if the securing means has a portion at its insertion end 1021 of a diameter smaller than that of a portion in the vicinity of its opposite end 1061.

With reference to the figure 4 , the locking means in position of the securing means comprise (in replacement or in addition to the thread or notches mentioned above) a radial extension 1062 of the axis of the securing means 1060, this extension being able to take place at the end 1061 or in the vicinity thereof.

Cette extension radiale 1062 constitue un élément déformable destiné à être écrasé contre la surface intérieure 1021 du barreau vertical 102.This radial extension 1062 constitutes a deformable element intended to be crushed against the inner surface 1021 of the vertical bar 102.

The outer diameter of this radial extension 1062 is provided such that, during the introduction of the securing means 106 into the orifice 110, the extension bears against the wall 1021. By continuing the engagement of the fastening 106 in the hole 110, the radial extension is deformed (downwards when the securing means is introduced through the bottom of the bar 102, or upwards when the securing means is introduced through the top of the bar 102). This deformation is generated because of the oblique orientation of the securing means 106 relative to the wall 1021 of the vertical bar, this orientation tends to reduce the spacing between the radial extension and the wall 1021 as and when the introduction of the securing means in the hole 110.

This radial extension is, according to the present embodiment, made of the same material as that of the axis of the securing means, in this case in a metallic material which gives sufficient rigidity to the radial extension 1062 once deformed and bearing against the inner surface 1021, opposes the removal of the securing means from the hole 110.

  • une rondelle 1063 ;
With reference to the figure 5 , the locking means comprise (instead of or in addition to the threads or notches mentioned above):
  • a washer 1063;
  • a head 1062 forming a stop and against which the washer 1063 bears.

Preferably, the washer 1063 is made of an elastically deformable material.

The outer diameter of the washer 1063 is dimensioned such that it comes to deform in contact with the inner surface 1021 of the vertical bar as the insertion means into the hole 110. In a similar manner to what has been indicated above, this deformation is generated because of the oblique orientation of the securing means 106 relative to the inner surface 1021 which tends to reduce the spacing between the end 1061 and the inner surface 1021 as and when the fastening means is introduced into the hole 110.

As it appears on the figure 5 once the securing means 106 is put in place, the deformation of the washer 1063 results in the appearance of a bead 1064 which is inserted between the head 1062 and the inner surface 1021 of the vertical bar.

The washer 1063 being made of an elastically deformable material, the bead 1064 has a dual function: a function in which the bead 1064 acts (or reacts) on the head 1062 so as to oppose the removal of the securing means from the hole 110 and a vibration absorption function transmitted by the vertical bar.

It is noted that the blocking means described with reference to figures 4 and 5 may be implemented both in a provision of the axis in which it is introduced by the lower end of the vertical bar in a provision according to which the axis is introduced by the upper end of the vertical bar.

The Figures 2 and 3 represent a tool 200 for assembling a set 100 according to the invention for a bar grid. For reasons of layout, the tool 200 is cut in two parts.

L'outil 200 comprend une extrémité d'insertion 202 et un corps extérieur 206.The tool 200 includes an insertion end 202 and an outer body 206.

A cette fin, l'alésage de guidage 220 est disposé en biais et sa paroi 222 tend à disparaître en progressant vers l'extrémité libre de l'extrémité d'insertion 202.The insertion end 202 is provided to penetrate the vertical bar 102 and, for this purpose, it has a profile similar to the inner profile of the vertical bar 102. The insertion end 202 comprises a stop 204 which bears in abutment against the end of the vertical bar 102 and the length of the insertion end 202 is such that its free end is close to the horizontal bar or the bar 104. The insertion end 202 is pierced with a guide bore 220 whose dimensions allow passage of the securing means and, in particular, its axis 106. The guide bore 220 is such that it substantially aligns with the through hole 110. For this purpose, the bore of 220 is disposed at an angle and its wall 222 tends to disappear while progressing towards the free end of the insertion end 202.

Le corps extérieur 206 est muni d'un piston 210.The outer body 206 is disposed in the extension of the insertion end 202 and is pierced with a thrust bore 216 coaxial with the guide bore 220. The outer body 206 is provided with a piston 210.

L'extrémité 218 de la tige 214 est prévue pour pousser le moyen de solidarisation 106 au travers de l'alésage de poussée 216, de l'alésage de guidage 220, puis du trou débouchant 110.The piston 210 comprises a handle 212 provided to assist in the manipulation of the piston 210, a rod 214 provided to successively insert into the thrust bore 216, then into the guide bore 220. The end 218 of the rod 214 is provided to push the securing means 106 through the thrust bore 216, the guide bore 220, and the through hole 110.

The operation of the tool 200 is as follows. The insertion end 202 is inserted and abutted in the vertical bar 102. After removal of the piston 210, a securing means 106 is introduced into the thrust bore 216. The piston 210 is introduced into the bore of thrust 216 and it's moved so that its 218 end pushes the securing means 106. The thrust of the piston 210 is continued until the securing means passes through the through hole 110 and is disposed on either side of the through hole 110. The insertion end 202 may be removed and the operation can be restarted on another set 100.

In order to best guide the securing means 106, the free end of the insertion end 202 is provided with a guiding means 224. The guiding means 224 is a ramp over which the securing means 106 and which is movable so as to be aligned with the through hole 110. The guide means 224 is rotatable about an axis 226 substantially orthogonal to the direction of movement of the securing means 106. The angular adjustment of the guide means 224 is made here by a screw 228 which bears against a part of the insertion end 202.
