    - a case formed by a middle (1), a bottom (2) and a circular upper wall (3);
    - a turning bezel (16) rotatably mounted on this case;
    - a circular dial (12) with a diameter substantially corresponding to that of a cylindrical outer surface of the middle (1) comprising a first central zone (24) and a second peripheral zone (25), this second peripheral zone at least being provided with markings; characterised in that
    - the turning bezel (16) comprises an upper opening (22) which is non-circular in shape, showing only a part of the dial (12);
    - the first central zone (24) of the dial (12) is always visible through said upper opening (22) of the bezel (16) no matter what the angular position of the bezel with respect to the case (1, 2, 3);
    - only a portion of the second peripheral zone (25) of the dial (12) is visible through the upper opening (22) of the turning bezel (16) for a given angular position of this turning bezel (16) with respect to the case (1, 2, 3);
    - the turning bezel (16) has a cylindrical inner housing (17) of a diameter corresponding substantially to that of the cylindrical outer surface of the middle (1), this middle (1) being at least partially located in this inner housing (17).
  2. Timepiece as claimed in claim 1 characterised in that the middle (1) comprises a central housing able to receive a timepiece movement (5).
  3. Timepiece as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2, characterised in that the external shape of the turning bezel (16) is circular.
  4. Timepiece as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2, characterised in that the external shape of the turning bezel (16) is non-circular.
  5. Timepiece as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the dial (12) is attached or fixed to the upper surface of the upper wall (3) of the case.
  6. Timepiece as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that seals (8, 14) are provided between the bottom (2) and the middle (1) and between the middle (1) and the turning bezel (16).
  7. Timepiece as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that it comprises a device for indexing predetermined angular positions of the turning bezel (16) with respect to the middle (1).
  8. Timepiece as claimed in any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that a flange (26) is fixed in the upper opening (22) of the turning bezel (16).
