Definitions
- the present invention relates to an indoor boules ball.
- the boule game also boggia game, enjoys a great popularity.
- a boules ball, which has a plastic shell and is filled with a liquid is made of FR-A-1 276 055 known. Boule training is unthinkable in a closed building with the competition boule balls, as the conventional boule ball would damage any common floor or hall floor.
- the present invention addresses the problem of showing boule play a way to facilitate winter training.
- the invention is based on the general idea to provide a halls boule ball having a rubber-elastic shell or skin, which is designed spherical shell, wrapped in a flowable granules and biases in the spherical shape.
- a hall boule ball can be created, which corresponds in terms of their weight and in terms of their dimensions of a competition boule ball, whereby their handling for training purposes essentially corresponds to the handling of a competition boule ball. Due to the structure proposed by the invention, however, the halls boule ball in closed buildings, especially in sports halls, usable.
- the rubber-elastic shell allows in conjunction with the granular granules as filling strong reversible deformation of the halls boule ball when hitting the respective floor, whereby the impact forces are reduced to a significant extent by deformation forces and friction forces within the hall boule ball.
- the load on the floor is considerably reduced when using such a hall boule ball.
- the filling may additionally comprise a viscous or dry lubricant, in which the granules are embedded.
- the respective lubricant favors the deformation of the hall boule ball when impacting on the respective soil and simplifies the return to the spherical shape after their deformation when the shell of the ball.
- Fig. 1 shows a partially sectioned side view of a hall boule ball.
- an indoor boule ball 1 has a diameter 2 that ranges from about 70 mm to 80 mm.
- the Hall Boule Ball 1 has a weight ranging from 650 g to 800 g.
- the hall boule ball 1 corresponds in terms of its diameter 2 and in terms of their weight the official competition conditions of boules game or petanque game.
- the halls boule ball 1 has a shell or skin 3, which consists of a rubber-elastic material, in particular rubber or rubber-like plastic.
- the skin 3 has a spherical shell-shaped design, that is, the skin 3 inherently assumes the spherical shape shown in the absence of external stress.
- the skin 3 may be composed of two half-shells 4, 5, each of which is comparatively easy to produce per se.
- the two half-shells 4, 5 are preferably firmly connected to one another in an equatorial plane or in an equatorial contact region 6, for example by gluing, welding or vulcanization.
- the skin 3 encloses a filling 7, which consists of a free-flowing granules 8 or has granular granules 8.
- the skin 3 is dimensioned so that it biases the filling 7 in the spherical shape shown.
- the skin 3 is designed so that it brings the filling 7 in the absence of external stress against gravity in the spherical shape.
- the filling 7 may be additionally provided with a viscous or dry lubricant, in which the granules 8 is embedded.
- Viscous lubricants are, for example, water, oil or fat.
- Dry lubricants are, for example, powder, powder or fine-grained sand.
- talcum powder or magnesia powder is suitable.
- the granules 8 may be designed spherical. In principle, however, any shape for the granules 8 is possible. Preferably, the granules 8 has a grain size which is smaller than 4 mm. As granules 8 is suitable in a special way an iron granules or iron ball. As a result, the desired weight for the indoor boule ball 1 can be realized comparatively easily.
- the skin 3 has, for example, a thickness of 3 mm to 6 mm, whereby it has a sufficient strength and a sufficient restoring force for the realization of the spherical shape with appropriate choice of material.
- the skin 3 or one of the half-shells 4, 5 may be provided with a filling opening 9.
- the filling opening 9 is closed with a stopper 10.
- the skin 3 is provided in the region of the filling opening 9 with an inwardly projecting connection 11.
- the nozzle 11 stabilizes the skin 3 in the region of the filling opening 9 and allows a stable fixing of the plug 10 to the skin 3.
- the plug 10 may have an inner, mushroom-like end 12. In the inserted state shown, the mushroom-like end 12 of the plug 10 engages over an unspecified edge of the filling opening 9 or the nozzle 11 inside, ie inside the skin 3. The extraction of the plug 10 is made considerably more difficult.
- the plug 10 here has an outer one collar-like end 13, which is recessed in a complementary recess 14 which is formed on the outside of the skin 3.
- the plug 10 may be bonded to the skin 3.
- an indoor boule ball is created.
- An essential aspect here is the extreme deformability of the halls boule ball 1, which largely absorbs the high impact forces.
- the hall boule ball 1, which is severely deformed by the impact is automatically and relatively quickly returned to the spherical shape by the resilient skin 3, so that the indoor boule ball 1 also has a rolling behavior comparable to that of a conventional boule ball Impact on the ground shows.
- it is particularly advantageous in the Hall Boule Ball 1 that it hardly differs in terms of their handling of a competition boule ball.
- the hall boule ball 1 feels comparatively warm even at low ambient temperatures, since the material of the skin 3 is a relatively poor conductor of heat.
