Description détaillée de modes de réalisation de l'inventionDETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS OF THE INVENTION

The radiator 1 comprises a housing 2 and at least one heating element 3. The housing 2 is formed by a front wall or front wall 4, a rear wall 5, a solid upper wall 6, a bottom wall or bottom wall 7 and two side walls. . The casing 2 delimits at least one heating chamber 8 in which the heating element 3 can be arranged. This heating element 3 can be located at a place near the bottom 7 and away from the top wall 6. This heating element 3 is intended to to heat at least one of the upper 6, side, bottom 7 and / or front walls 4.

In the example, the heating element 3 is electric, and comprises one or more electric heating resistors connected to a power supply (not shown). However, the heating element 3 could possibly be of any other known type, and could for example consist of a series of fins in thermal contact with a conduit in which circulates hot water or other heat transfer fluid of hot.

In the example considered figure 2 , the casing 2 is substantially parallelepipedic. The rear wall 5 is solid and is arranged parallel and vertically with respect to a plane of a wall 9 of the room to be heated. The casing 2 is fixed to the wall by means of fixing means 54. The fixing means 54 connect the rear wall 5 to the wall 9 so as to hook the radiator to the wall 9. An air inlet 43 is formed in the bottom 7, over most of the length of the bottom 7. The housing forms a first return flap 10 delimiting with the front wall 4 a first air outlet 12. This first air outlet 12 is located at a part high of the radiator.

Lorsque l'élément chauffant 3 est alimenté en courant électrique, un flux d'air ambiant est aspiré par l'entrée d'air 43, chauffé par l'élément chauffant 3, puis ce flux d'air monte dans la chambre 8, et sors par la sortie d'air 12.When the heating element 3 is supplied with electric current, a flow of ambient air is sucked by the air inlet 43, heated by the heating element 3, then this air flow rises in the chamber 8, and leave by the air outlet 12.

According to figure 2 the first flap 10 extends forward of the front wall 4. The first flap 10 is offset from the front wall 4. The first air outlet 12 is delimited by this first flap 10 and an upper end 11 of the front wall 4. In fact, the first return flap 10 is formed by the upper wall 6. The upper wall 6 is extended forward of the front wall 4, in the opposite direction to the wall 9 to form the first return flap 10. The upper wall 6 extends above and in front of the front wall 4 so that a space 44 is delimited between the upper end 11 of the front wall 4 and the top wall 6. The first shutter 10 is formed by a portion 10.1 of the upper wall 6, said portion protruding forward of the front wall 4. This upper wall portion 6 is folded so that it forms an edge 10.1, said edge 10.1 extending in a substantially parallel plane to a plane in which the front wall 4 extends and extends in another plane which is substantially perpendicular to the remainder of the upper wall 6. By substantially parallel means that the first return flap 10 extends in a plane which is parallel to plus or minus 5 ° with respect to another plane in which the front wall 4 extends. By substantially perpendicular means that the first return flap 10 extends in a plane which is perpendicular at plus or minus 5 ° with respect to another plane in which the remainder of the upper wall 6 extends.

In the example figure 2 , the plane in which the front wall 4 extends is positioned in relation to the wall plane slightly at an angle and towards the wall from bottom to top. The first return flap 10 therefore extends by its edge 10.1 also in a plane which is slightly at an angle and towards the wall from bottom to top.

The front wall 4 is inclined in such a way that the chamber 8 forms, in cross-section, a duct which is narrowed at the top of this chamber 8. According to this first variant, the evacuation of the air by the air inlet 12 is therefore carried out at a location near the upper wall 6 and towards the ground.

The upper wall 6 may be partially internally coated with a rounded wall 56. This rounded wall 56 forms a half-duct positioned with an inner face 55 of this half-pipe placed facing the upper end 11 of the front wall 4 This rounded wall 56 is placed opposite or in abutment against an inner face 46 of the first return flap 10 and possibly against an inner face of the remainder of the upper wall 6. The rounded wall 56 is placed facing or resting against the first flap and against the upper wall by an outer face 45 of this rounded wall 56. The inner face of the remainder of the upper wall 6 merges with the inner face 46 of the first return flap 10. By its rounded shape, this wall 56 forms an air passage guide for channeling the air and facilitating the evacuation of air from the chamber 8.

In one example, the first air outlet 12 measures 25 mm along an axis passing through the upper end 11 of the end wall 4 and by an end 57 of the first return flap 10, the axis being substantially parallel on the ground plan.

Mais l'extrémité 57 du premier volet de renvoi 10 pourrait s'étendre en direction du sol, au-delà du plan parallèle au plan du sol tout en surplombant la paroi frontale 4.The end 57 of the first return flap 10 and the upper end 11 of the front wall 4 extend in the direction of one another at least to the same plane, said plane being substantially parallel to the plane of the ground. By substantially parallel means that the plane can be inclined to plus or minus 5 ° with respect to a plane that would be parallel to the ground plane. But the end 57 of the first return flap 10 could extend towards the ground, beyond the plane parallel to the plane of the ground while overlooking the front wall 4.

According to one embodiment of the invention, Figures 3a and 3b a radiator 13 can be formed. The figure 3a schematically illustrates this radiator 13 according to a front view. The figure 3b schematically illustrates this radiator 13 according to a longitudinal section. This radiator 13 makes it possible to evacuate the air in a direction opposite to the ground. This radiator 13 comprises an upper wall 65 and a bottom 15. A second return flap 14 is formed by the bottom 15 of this radiator 13. In the same way as for the radiator 1 according to the first variant figure 2 , the bottom 15 of this radiator 13 extends forward of a front wall 35 of the radiator 13 while extending parallel to the same end wall 35 to form the second return flap 14. Even if it is not shown, a rounded wall as illustrated figure 2 may also be disposed inwardly against the second return flap 14. This radiator 13 has an inner wall 49 disposed at an angle from the bottom 15 and inclined towards the wall, from bottom to top. The air enters between this inner wall 49 and a rear wall 58 and then passes between the inner wall 49 and an upper wall 65, then between the inner wall 49 and the front wall 35 to exit between the front wall 35 and the second flap of reference 14.

The radiator as illustrated figure 2 could also include a lower return flap, formed by the bottom 7 (not shown). In this case, the front wall 4 will then be joined to the side walls of the radiator.

According to an alternative embodiment of the invention Figures 4a and 4b another radiator 21 may be formed. The figure 4a schematically illustrates this other radiator 21 according to a front view. The figure 4b schematically illustrates this other radiator 21 in a longitudinal section. An upper wall 22 forms a fourth deflection return flap 24 and a lower wall 23 forms a fifth flap 25. The upper wall 22 and the lower wall 23 extend forwardly of a front wall 34, in the opposite direction to the wall to form respectively the fourth flap 24 and the fifth flap 25. A first air evacuation is performed between the fourth flap 24 and the front wall 34, towards the ground. A second evacuation of the air is effected between the fifth return flap 25 and the front wall 34, in the opposite direction to the ground. An inner wall 59 extends obliquely towards the wall from bottom to top and delimits with a rear wall 60 an air inlet. The inner wall 59 may also be contiguous with side walls of this radiator 21 and / or with the bottom wall 23. An intermediate wall 61 disposed above the inner wall 59 to form in longitudinal section a U-shape straddling the internal wall 59. This intermediate wall 61 forms the front wall in front of the inner wall 29. This intermediate wall 61 forming the front wall 34 defines with the rear wall 60 a first air duct 63, the air flowing there being intended to exit by the first air outlet. This intermediate wall 61 defines a second air duct 62 with the inner wall, the air flowing there being intended to exit by the second air outlet. The intermediate wall 61 is also contiguous to the side walls.
