Description

Wasserbehältnisse nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.The invention relates to a surface extractor for ponds, swimming pools or similar bodies of water or water containers according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such surface skimmers, called skimmers in practice, serve to suck floating contaminants on the water surface, such as leaves, needles, pollen, feathers, etc., so that the optically visible contamination is removed and prevents these coarse materials from sinking and water too Enrich many nutrients, so that it becomes bad and cloudy. Surface extractors are therefore particularly necessary for open-air waters.

Conventional Oberflächenabsauger are often arranged rigidly on the edge of the pond or pool edge for simplicity and then have a water-facing opening through which surface water is sucked in by means of a downstream pump and the contaminants are collected in a dirt collecting container. Sometimes the arrangement of the surface extractor at the edge of the pond is not possible for reasons of appearance or due to the nature of the landscape, and partly also not meaningful because of the geometry of the water. In these cases, surface extractors are used, which are used in any position, for example in the middle of the pond and therefore should be able to suck in surface water from several directions. These surface extractors have an annular inlet edge opening. To adapt to the water level is the inlet edge of a height-adjustable tube against the rest of the device. Such surface aspirators are either placed with a stand on the pond floor or, as in the DE 43 02 978 C2 described, formed floating. Due to the leaks, caused by the height-adjustable tube, there are pressure losses, resulting in a lower efficiency. Especially with such floating O-surface aspirators, it can also come due to the movement, possible air or water currents or similar actions to tilt the höhenverschieblichen tube, whereby the extraction is no longer optimally uniform or it may even come to a floating of the device. In addition, the suction of contaminants has partially proven to be insufficient to obtain the desired water quality.

The U.S. Patent 4,746,424 shows a surface aspirant is already floating and rotatably arranged and has three lateral inlet openings. In the US 2004/0226896 A1 describes a floating surface suction for ponds and mentions that this can be additionally connected to a ventilation device, which is to be arranged as a spatially separated element somewhere between the surface suction and an external pump. This system is complicated by its multi-part arrangement. It is also not guaranteed that the aeration of the pond water takes place at the optimum position.

The invention is therefore based on the object to provide a Oberflächenabsauger, which avoids the aforementioned problems and is suitable to further improve the water quality.

According to the invention this object is achieved by a Oberflächenabsauger with the features of claim 1. By combining the skimmer function of the surface aspirator with a ventilation device and their special design at the same time contaminants are removed from the water, and the water is enriched with oxygen released below the water surface, which further improves the water quality. By on the one hand the inlet opening is arranged only on one side of the housing, on the other hand, the surface suction but not rigidly fixed, but movable, in particular rotatably designed or arranged, a Schmutzabsaugung is made possible from different water body areas. For this purpose, the surface aspirator is allowed to rotate either at least about its central axis, so that the Aligned inlet opening in the course of use in different directions, or the position of the inlet opening can also be actively changed. This can be done directly or indirectly time-controlled, for example via a motor drive or only by a spring preload.

Preferably, the inlet opening is formed by an inflow flap laterally of the housing, via which a suction superficially floating impurities is low loss through this flap opening and not over the edge of a tubular body as in the prior art. As a result, in the surface aspirator according to the invention, tilting, tilting or inadequate suction due to inclination can also not occur. The adaptation to the respective water level takes place automatically by the inlet flap with its upper edge is height-variable connected to the housing. In manufacturing technology particularly simple and less prone manner, this is effected by a pivotable articulation of the inlet flap in the lower region.

The surface aspirator according to the invention can be determined, for example, via a stand on the bottom of the water. This determination must then be made so that the inlet opening of the surface aspirator can align in different directions, for example by an at least rotatable attachment of the surface aspirator. Preferably, however, the surface aspirator is self-supporting, ie floating, in water, so that it can either freely float freely on the surface or its radius of movement is limited by an additional anchoring at the bottom.

The surface suction shown has a housing 1, in the upper region of which there is a dirt collecting container 2, which can be easily removed by means of a handle 3 for emptying upwards. In a housing part arranged below the dirt collecting container 2, a pump 4 is integrated in the illustrated embodiment, so that the device can operate as an independent filter system. Furthermore, coarse, fine and / or micro-filters, not shown separately, as well as biological cleaning devices, e.g. a UVC light, provided and integrated into the device, possibly even in the housing 1 or arranged in the pump unit 4. The pump 4 has one or more suction ports, not shown, which may also be formed over surface openings of the pump. A water outlet 5 returns the purified water in the environment, so that takes place through the surface suction and a circulation.

The illustrated embodiment is self-supporting formed in the water and floats by provided floating body 6 on the water surface 7. The selected embodiment arranged with three at an angle of 120 ° Floats 6 ensures a safe and stable floating position of the surface aspirator. Since the floats 6 unload relatively far, they can be removed for transport and storage purposes. They are preferred in corresponding in Fig. 2 through a dashed housing 8 and in Fig. 3 recognizable recesses 9 with provided approaches 10 inserted. Between the lugs 10 and the housing 1 is preferably a latching connection 11, which, if necessary, can be released from the inside.

The floats 6 are at least in the plan view as in Fig. 2 As a result, they can fulfill a function as flow guide elements in a particularly good manner and direct the water flow of an inlet flap 16, which is due to the suction by the pump 4, essentially laterally the dirt collecting container 2 are arranged. The inflow flap 16 flowing water flow is symbolized by arrow representations 17. On the other two sides of the housing 1 between the floats 6 are rigid housing wall parts 12 through which no water in the dirt collecting container 2 runs.

The inlet flap 16 is fixed in the illustrated embodiment about an axis 19 pivotally mounted on the housing 1, so that the upper edge 20 of the inlet flap 16 is variable in height by different deep pivoting relative to the housing 1. For clarity shows Fig. 2 the inlet flap 16 is pivoted almost completely inwards while in Fig. 3 is shown standing vertically.

The ventilation device for additional water or pond ventilation is realized in the illustrated surface aspirant, that in the Fig. 1 and 3 shown in dashed lines 21 extends from an intake opening 22 above the water surface 7 to an exhaust opening 5, which coincides with the water outlet 5 in the illustrated embodiment. Preferably, the air intake passage 21 extends through one of the floating bodies 6. In the other floats 6, the corresponding opening with a blind plug 14 is closed. A region of the leading from the pump 4 to the water outlet 5 water discharge line 13 acts as an injector 23, so that at the same time air is sucked in via the same pump 4 and an oxygen enrichment of the water takes place. From the water outlet or the exhaust opening 5 occurs while a water-air mixture.

The exhaust opening 5 is preferably to be aligned so that at least substantially no air rises in the region of the inlet flap 16, since the rising air bubbles could otherwise hinder the suction of the impurities driving on the water. In the illustrated embodiment, therefore, the blow-off opening 5 is arranged particularly advantageously on the side of the housing 1 opposite the inlet flap 16. As shown, it can be provided with several outlets and let out the water-air mixture as shown in two directions at an angle. The water-air mixture emerging from the combined water outlet with exhaust opening 5 additionally fulfills a certain drive function, so that the desired movement of the surface suction on the water surface 7 is supported and a uniform removal of dirt from all areas of the water occurs.

The surface aspirator according to the invention can be used particularly flexibly, but is simple in construction and extremely less prone to failure. It contributes to the significantly improved water quality through the simultaneous surface dirt suction and the oxygenation via the aeration device. The combination of both functions and their operation with only one pump 1 creates synergies both in design and energy consumption as well as by the skimmer function supporting water and air movement of the ventilation device.
