Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Holzwerkstoffes, insbesondere eines plattenförmingen Holzwerkstoffes, sowie einen nach dem Verfahren hergestellten Holzwerkstoff.The invention relates to a method for producing a wood material, in particular a plate-shaped wood material, as well as a wood material produced by the method.
Holzwerkstoffe, insbesondere plattentförmige Holzwerkstoffe wie Spanplatten, Faserplatten und OSB-Platten, sind seit vielen Jahren in den verschiedensten Bereichen des Möbel- und Innenausbaues sowie im Bauwesen etabliert. Den genannten Materialien ist gemeinsam, dass sie aus kleinstückigem Holz oder Holzfasern, zumeist unter Zugabe eines natürlichen oder chemischen Bindemittels, durch Verpressen unter erhöhtem Druck und erhöhter Temperatur hergestellt werden. Neben dem Einsatz von Rundholz, das zu Spänen, Fasern oder Strands aufgearbeitet wird, gelangen auch sämtliche Sägenebenprodukte wie Sägespäne, Hackschnitzel, Spreißelholz, in der jüngeren Vergangenheit auch an Bedeutung zunehmend Altholz, bei der Herstellung von Holzwerkstoffen zum Einsatz. Als Bindemittel dienen in der Regel solche auf Basis von Formaldehydharzen, im Bereich der OSB-Platten auch von nennenswerter Bedeutung solche auf Basis von Isocyanaten. Daneben sind auch Bindemittel auf natürlicher Basis, beispielsweise auf Taninbasis, für bestimmte Einsatzbereiche innerhalb der Holzwerkstoffe bekannt.Wood-based materials, in particular plate-shaped wood-based materials such as chipboard, fiberboard and OSB boards, have been established for many years in various areas of furniture and interior design as well as in construction.
