et comportant une unité d'alimentation sans pression (6, 8, 9) via laquelle la matière de recouvrement liquide est alimentée sur la bande porteuse (1),
caractérisée en ce que
le cylindre doseur (5) est disposé au-dessus du cylindre porteur (4) au niveau de sa ligne de crête,
en ce que le cylindre doseur (5) est entraîné avec une vitesse de rotation lente dans le sens contraire du cylindre porteur (4),
et en ce que la matière de recouvrement est alimentée sur la bande porteuse (1) par l'unité d'alimentation (6, 8, 9), juste avant la zone d'entrée de la bande porteuse (1) dans l'interstice de dosage entre le cylindre porteur (4) et le cylindre doseur (5). - Unité d'application selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle le cylindre doseur est disposé dans une zone angulaire de quelques degrés avant ou après la ligne de crête du cylindre porteur (4).
- Unité d'application selon la revendication 1 ou 2, dans laquelle le cylindre doseur (5) est disposé au niveau d'un dispositif (7) destiné au réglage de la taille de l'interstice de dosage.
- Unité d'application selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3, dans laquelle un racloir à jet d'air (11) est disposé dans la zone où la bande porteuse (1) sort de l'interstice de dosage.
- Unité d'application selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 4, dans laquelle l'unité d'alimentation (6, 8, 9) est conçue avec une cuve contenant de la matière de recouvrement, ladite cuve étant alimentée en continu en matière de recouvrement par l'intermédiaire d'une régulation de niveau.
- Unité d'application selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 5, dans laquelle la bande porteuse passe par un poste d'imprégnation (A) avant de monter sur le cylindre porteur (4), sort dudit poste d'imprégnation à l'état mouillé et est amenée directement sur le cylindre porteur (4).
- Unité d'application selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 6, dans laquelle le cylindre porteur (4) plonge avec sa section inférieure dans une cuve collectrice (12) remplie de matière de recouvrement et une circulation est générée entre la matière de recouvrement sur la cuve collectrice et l'unité d'alimentation (6, 8, 9).
- Unité d'application selon la revendication 7, dans laquelle la cuve collectrice (12) est réglable quant à sa position en hauteur par rapport au cylindre porteur (4).
- Unité d'application selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 8, dans laquelle la bande porteuse (1) s'éloigne du cylindre porteur (4) de façon légèrement inclinée vers les bas.
- Unité d'application selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 9, dans laquelle à l'issue du cylindre porteur (4), la bande porteuse (1) passe par une calandre comportant au moins un cylindre d'appui (13) ainsi qu'au moins un cylindre calandreur (14).
- Unité d'application selon la revendication 5, dans laquelle la cuve présente des cales de délimitation latérales interchangeables.
