  7. Appliance (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the drive (7) is connected in rotation-transmitting manner with the height adjustment (10) by way of a second resilient coupling (20).
  8. Appliance (1) according to claim 7, characterised in that the second resilient coupling (20) comprises a belt transmission (21) with a belt (22) and two belt pulleys (23, 24).
  9. Appliance (1) according to claim 8, characterised in that the translation ratio of the belt transmission is at least 1.5:1, particularly at least 2:1, preferably at least 4:1.
  10. Appliance (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that at least one abutment sensor (27) is provided at the guide rails (5, 6).
  11. Appliance (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that a safety sensor (28) is provided.
