Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Pressanordnung zur Behandlung einer Papier-, Karton-, Tissue- oder einer anderen Faserstoffbahn (5) in einer Maschine zur Herstellung und/oder Veredlung derselben, mit wenigstens einem von einer Presswalze und einem Gegendruckelement gebildeten Pressspalt, wobei die Presswalze einen, um eine feststehende Achse (2) rotierbaren Walzenmantel (1) besitzt, welcher von einer Stützeinrichtung (3) der Achse (2) zur Bildung des Pressspaltes in Richtung (Pressrichtung 6) des Gegendruckelementes gedrückt wird.
Dabei soll das Gewicht der Achse (2) bei Gewährleistung der erforderlichen Belastbarkeit und Schwingungsstabilität dadurch minimiert werden, dass die Frequenz der Pressspaltdurchläufe zwischen der Eigenfrequenz der Achse (2) in Pressrichtung (6) und der Eigenfrequenz der Achse (2) quer zur Pressrichtung (6) liegt.
