Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Ausstatten von Gegenständen mit einem Rundumetikett.The invention relates to a device for equipping objects with a wrap-around label.
Es ist seit geraumer Zeit Stand der Technik, Gegenstände, insbesondere Behälter wie Flaschen, Dosen oder dgl. an ihrer Mantelfläche mit einem aus einem rechteckigen Zuschnitt gebildeten Rundumetikett zu versehen, das durch Aufwickeln auf die Mantelfläche eines Gegenstandes gebracht wird, wobei die Etikettenendkante die Etikettenanfangskante überlappt und mit dieser dauerhaft verbunden wird, z.B. durch Klebstoff oder Lösungsmittel. Üblicherweise wird ein Etikettenzuschnitt vor dem Aufwickeln auf einen Gegenstand durch Abtrennen von einer Etikettenrolle erzeugt und mit einer rotierenden Transfereinrichtung, insbesondere Vakuumtrommel, auf den Gegenstand aufgerollt. Für diese Art von Etikettierung gibt es zahlreiche sehr wirtschaftlich und leistungsfähig arbeitende Etikettiervorrichtungen auf dem Markt (
Des weiteren ist die Verwendung von beidseitig bedruckten Etiketten bekannt, die also auch auf der zum Gegenstand weisenden Innenseite Informationen für den Verbraucher aufweisen und demzufolge zunächst vom etikettierten Gegenstand abgelöst werden müssen, um die Rückseite betrachten zu können. Hierfür kann ein Etikett eine Aufreißlinie bzw. einen Aufreißfaden besitzen, der ein einfaches Ablösen des Etiketts ermöglichen soll. Nachteiligerweise sind derart präparierte Etiketten teuerer als konventionelle Etiketten und können zudem im Falle von elastischen Gegenständen, die sich beispielsweise bei Erwärmung oder bei einem Innendruckanstieg ausdehnen, unbeabsichtigt aufreißen bzw. abplatzen.Furthermore, the use of double-sided printed labels is known, which therefore also have information on the object facing the inside information for the consumer and therefore must first be replaced by the labeled object to view the back. Erfindungsgemäß umfasst die Vorrichtung eine rotierende Transfereinrichtung zum Aufbringen des Rundumetiketts, z.B. einen Vakuumzylinder, deren Tragfläche für die Etikettenendkänte in dem oberen und/oder unteren Eckbereich der Etikettenendkante zugeordneten Flächenanteilen radial einwärts verlaufend geformt ist. Somit sind die Flächenanteile der Eckbereiche näher zur Rotationsachse beabstandet als die verbleibende Tragfläche. Dadurch weisen die vorgesehenen Etikettenecken einen Abstand zu einer Adhäsionseinrichtung, beispielsweise der Oberfläche einer Leimwalze, auf und erlangen beim Vorbeiführen des Rundumetiketts an der Adhäsionseinrichtung keine haftenden Eigenschaften. Claims (4)
