Abstract

The display system for gloves (11, 12) comprises a plate (2) which is formed into a hook (3) at the top. An independent claim is included for the combination of the display system and gloves attached to it.

Description

The invention relates to a presentation device for gloves and the like according to the preamble of patent claim 1.

Gloves, mittens and the like are always offered in pairs for sale. For this purpose, a right and a left glove of the same size are combined into a pair and connected to each other in a captive manner. For example, the gloves may be partially wrapped by a carton or plastic wrap. However, this type of packaging is very inappropriate because it must be opened to remove one or both gloves for trial and error. In many cases, the packaging is damaged. Mostly therefore gloves, mittens and the like are presented to the consumer unpacked. To ensure that matched pairs of right and left glove remain together and can not be confused by the consumer, the gloves are connected in pairs by at least one plastic band. For this purpose, at least one plastic band is guided through a material layer of the one glove and through a material layer of the second glove. Usually, a card-like carrier made of cardboard is placed between the two gloves, which is printed with information regarding the product, its size, the materials used and other customer information and advertising. The at least one plastic band also penetrates the cardboard carrier. The plastic band may be attached to the material layer of the gloves by barbs projecting from both longitudinal ends; but it can also be a ring-shaped closed plastic band.

Apart from the fact that this type of pairwise attachment of the gloves to the sheet-like support, the material layers of the gloves are pierced and damaged, the plastic tape proves to be a hindrance when trying on the gloves. It can always be tried on only one glove, the other glove and the sheet-shaped cardboard carrier must be from the consumer as bulky appendage to be accepted. An extension of the plastic band connecting the two gloves also provides no remedy; rather, the gloves attached to the cardboard carrier can thereby slip. This makes it difficult to store the gloves and affects their presentation in the department store or at the dealer.

The pairs attached to the cardboard carrier gloves, mittens or the like are usually presented in a store shelf. These can be sales shelves in which the gloves are lying horizontally. In another form of presentation of the gloves they are hung on the shelf. For example, the pairs of gloves can be mounted on the connecting plastic band to projecting from the shelf shelf arms or hooks. The pairs of gloves may be held by separate hangers that are hung on the shelf. It is also already known to hang the pair of glove mounted on the cardboard carrier on the carrier on the shelf. For example, a tab is riveted with a hook on the cardboard carrier. In an alternative embodiment, the cardboard carrier is provided with a slot or a recess, which makes it possible to hang the carrier on a protruding from the shelf shelf arm or hook. The cardboard carrier is usually relatively small dimensions, so that the slot or the recess are covered by the gloves. This makes it relatively difficult for the consumer to thread the cardboard carrier on the arm or hook of the shelf and hang. As a rule, these suspension devices are not very stable on the cardboard carrier. If the suspension arrangement on the cardboard carrier is destroyed, it can no longer be mounted on the sales rack. Although it has also been proposed to strengthen the suspension by plastic. However, this is expensive to manufacture and proves to be disadvantageous when recycling the paperboard carrier.

Finally, a presentation device for glove pairs is already known, comprising a sheet-like carrier made of cardboard. At one longitudinal end points the cardboard carrier on a hook-like recess, which allows easier attachment of the cardboard carrier to an arm or hook of a sales shelf. Approximately in the middle of the box a circular recess is provided, which is reinforced with a metal ring. The fastening of a glove pair on the cardboard carrier via tabs, each protrude from the insertion of the gloves and at their free ends push buttons, which can be connected together. To attach the two gloves on the cardboard carrier and each other, the tab of one glove is passed through the recess on the cardboard carrier and connected via the snap fastener with the tab of the other glove. It can happen that the gloves connected to each other slip so far that the snap fastener comes to rest just in the area of the edge of the recess reinforced with the metal ring. Then there is a risk that the snap fastener opens by a lever action, and the gloves are separated from each other. To prevent this, at least one of the two gloves is additionally connected via a plastic tape to the cardboard carrier. The other glove is held by a provided in most gloves, especially sports gloves, already provided carbine connection. The plastic band is in turn guided by the material layer of the one glove and the cardboard carrier. The disadvantages of the plastic tape connection have already been described above.

Object of the present invention is therefore to remedy the disadvantages of the presentation devices for gloves and the like of the prior art. It is a device to be created, which ensures in a simple manner that gloves, mittens and the like are always present in pairs. The gloves should be fixed immovable but detachable and refastenable to the presentation device. The presentation device is intended to make it easier for the consumer to try on the gloves. Damage to the material layers of the gloves should be avoided. The presentation device should be suitable for a lying as well as for a hanging presentation of the gloves. In this case, the presentation device should have sufficient stability and rigidity, in particular in the suspension area.

The solution to these and other objects is achieved by a presentation device for gloves and the same, which has the features stated in the characterizing portion of claim 1 features. Further developments and / or advantageous embodiments of the invention are the subject of the respective dependent claims.

The invention provides a presentation device for gloves, in particular sports gloves, mittens and the like, which consists essentially of a sheet-like carrier. The carrier has at its one longitudinal end a suspension device. In addition, it is equipped with a device over which a glove pair is detachably connectable to the carrier. This device is provided in the adjoining the suspension device portion of the carrier and designed such that the gloves individually fastened to the sheet-like support and also individually from this solvable.

In a first embodiment of the invention, the connecting device has two attachment means, which are arranged in a region adjacent to the suspension device on the opposite flat sides of the carrier. The attachment means are adapted to releasably cooperate with correspondingly formed connection means on the gloves and to fix the gloves in each case in their position with respect to the suspension device.

By the binding means are arranged directly on the opposite flat sides of the sheet-like carrier, the connection of the gloves takes place directly on the flat sides of the carrier. As a result, the gloves are clearly defined with regard to their position with respect to the suspension device. Slipping of the glove pair attached to the carrier is prevented. The glove edges always remain in the distance from the hanger set by the arrangement of the tethers. As a result, the presentation device has a greater stability in a suspended position, and the suspension device is subjected to less stress. Additional reinforcements of the suspension can therefore be dispensed with. The gloves are fixed solely by the tying means, which interact with the corresponding connection means on the gloves. Additional plastic straps for fixing the gloves can be dispensed with. As a result, no material layers of the gloves are damaged. The tethers allow for easy removal of a glove from the sheet-like backing to try it. Trying on a glove is no longer disturbed by the second glove or by the sheet-like support. An advantageous variant of the invention provides that the attachment means are two opposing push button devices. Push-button connections are easy to set up. They are stable and have a sufficiently large holding power even after repeated loosening and reconnecting. An automatic release of the push-button connection by tensile or compressive stress is practically not available.

An expedient embodiment of the invention provides that the push-button devices are of similar design. This has the advantage that the consumer or the sales staff after trying on the gloves does not have to pay attention to which glove is attached to which flat side of the sheet-like carrier. For example, the opposing push-button devices are each formed as recordings. At the gloves then each corresponding insertion devices are then formed. It is understood that the arrangement of recordings and plug-in devices of the push-button connections can also be reversed.

An alternative embodiment of the invention provides that the opposing push-button devices are different from each other. Then, the push-button devices are formed on the one flat side as a receptacle and on the other side as a correspondingly formed insertion device. Although this embodiment variant of the invention demands from the consumer or from the sales staff that the right or the left glove is fastened exactly on one or the other flat side of the wearer. On the other hand, the corresponding connection means on the gloves are also different from each other, but formed correspondingly. This has the advantage that the consumer after the purchase of the gloves can also connect them via the connection means arranged on them.

The attachment means arranged on the carrier can be designed as magnets in another embodiment variant. On the gloves then appropriate platelets of iron or a ferromagnetic material are arranged, with the aid of which the gloves are fastened to the carrier.

Another very advantageous embodiment variant of the presentation device according to the invention is characterized in that the attachment means are two Velcro strips or devices arranged on the opposite flat sides of the carrier. As a result, a secure and stable position of the presentation device equipped with the gloves is guaranteed in the hanging presentation and an unintentional falling off the shelf can be avoided.

For reasons of strength and rigidity, it proves to be advantageous if the sheet-like support consists at least in the region of the hook-like suspension device made of plastic or of a plasticized cardboard or a cardboard-plastic composite material. By this choice of material damage to the suspension of the sheet-like support can be prevented by excessive mechanical stress, improper handling, but also by moisture.

An alternative embodiment of the invention provides that the Verbindunseinrichtung comprises two preferably mutually arranged recesses in the support of the presentation device. It proves to be expedient if the connection means provided on the gloves are each arranged on a tab which protrudes from the handcuff edge. The length of the tab is chosen so that easy handling is ensured when connecting. Advantageously, the tab has a length of about 15 mm to 40 mm.

Usually, the tab is formed as a lost part, which is separable along a predetermined separation point of the glove hand. As a result, the tab with the connecting means can not affect the wearing comfort of the gloves.

The tabs equipped with the connecting means are advantageously attached to the handcuff edges such that one glove with the palm of the hand and the second glove with the back of the hand rest on the sheet-like support. The inside of the suspension hook 33 is formed in a circular arc. Additional reinforcements of the suspension can therefore be dispensed with. The gloves are fixed solely by fasteners with which they are releasably connected to the presentation device. Additional plastic straps for fixing the gloves can be dispensed with. As a result, no material layers of the gloves are damaged. The gloves can easily be removed individually from the sheet-like support to try them. Trying on a glove is no longer disturbed by the second glove or by the sheet-like support. After trying on the glove can be very easily connected to the carrier again. The presentation device is easy to produce and suitable for the usual storage and presentation in existing shelves.
