Definitions
- the invention relates to a protective glove made of reversible metal ring mesh with the features specified in the preamble of claim 1.
- Such protective gloves as they are based on the preamble of claim 1 DE 43 05 320 A1 are known to be worn eg in meat processing plants to protect themselves against slashing, stabbing and cutting injuries.
- Metal ring braids are highly flexible and give their hand to protect their mobility.
- the gloves are fastened to the hand or body of the user by fastener tapes. What is needed is a fixation for which a closing strap is inserted into loops and fixed there.
- a lock-in strap inserted into a receiving channel having a push-button which is alternately attachable to various push-button receivers that are circumferentially spaced and used alternately when the glove is worn on the left or right hand.
- the closing band must be removed when turning the glove from the receiving channel and introduced in accordance with the reverse direction.
- a closing band which consists of metal ring mesh and is firmly linked with glove. If required, it can be passed through passage openings through the metal ring mesh to be fastened on the outside to the glove.
- Closure means and closure bands per se are also known from the following documents: DE 93 13 344 U1 . DE 101 16 922 C1 . DE 103 34 852 A1 . DE 103 34 903 A1 . DE 103 58 432 B4 . DE 20 2005 011 181 U1 . DE 20 2006 003 606 U1 . US-A 4,750,218 ,
- the present invention seeks to provide an easily reversible protective glove, which meets the desired safety requirements.
- the protective glove has for the passage of the closing strap on the respective outer side a plurality of spaced-apart passage openings, so that even in the region of these passage openings a sufficient puncture protection is provided.
- These passage openings are preferably provided in the region of a receiving channel or in the region of loops, so that they come to rest radially on the inside or on the outside of the receiving channel.
- the closure band can thus be guided alternately outwards through the openings, at the same time ensuring that the bottom of the respective opening is still covered by metal ring mesh. This makes it almost impossible to get through the slots with a knife or stickleback to the body of the wearer.
- a fully closed end edge on the glove is thus possible, which is desirable for safety reasons. Nevertheless, due to the offset passage openings, a stretchability for putting on the protective glove can be achieved despite a complete closure, so that a visually and safety-optimized termination area results in the transition to the user's arm.
- FIGS. 1 to 3 show a protective clothing 40 and a protective glove 35 once on a complete arm and once in the area of the hand and forearm, which at least partially consist of a metal ring mesh.
- Such protective clothing is used to protect eg butchers against puncture; Slash and cut injuries.
- reinforcements 32 or according to the FIGS. 2 and 3 Stiffening elements 23 inserted into the metal ring mesh or integrated therein to prevent collapse of the cuff 22 of the protective glove 35.
- the present protective gloves are formed without a slot, but may also have a slot.
- An embodiment without a slot has the advantage that no additional precautions must be taken to prevent passage of a knife or a stick in the region of the slot.
- the closing straps 15 for fixing the protective glove 35 on the body of a wearer can be determined by measures customary in the prior art on the glove and consist of the customary plastic materials, of metal or similar materials.
- the configuration of a receiving channel 10 is possible, which is formed by metal ring mesh, which is folded at the end of the protective glove, or which is formed by that metal ring mesh is placed on the metal ring mesh of the protective glove 35.
- the possibilities known for this purpose are known to the person skilled in the art.
- the opening for the passage of the closing strap on the outside of the protective glove is formed in the embodiment by a plurality of circumferentially spaced apart from the protective glove openings A, B, of which at least one on the outside and at least one inside of the protective glove 35 is provided.
- a receiving channel 10 is formed of metal ring mesh, in which the passage openings A, B are provided as slots. These slots are located alternately from the perspective of a center line of the hand of a wearer radially inward and radially outward. This makes it possible that the closing strip 15 in the illustration according to Fig. 4 can pass through the opening A to the outside.
- the closing strap 15 can pass through the opening B to the outside, so that the closing strap 15 only has to be withdrawn and carried out on the corresponding other side.
- corresponding slots or openings A, B are provided in the region of loops.
- the embodiment in the two passage openings A, B are in the circumferential direction and at a distance X according to Fig. 5 offset from each other.
- the ring structure is not shown. This makes it clear that the in Fig. 4 from the outside accessible passage opening A is back covered by the rear wall 10a of the receiving channel 10, while the in Fig. 5 behind lying passage opening B is covered by the front wall 10b of the receiving channel 10.
- the receiving channel 10 adjoins a preferably fully closed end edge 12 of the protective glove. This is also an intrusion here reliably avoid stinging devices. However, since the passage openings A and B are provided in this connection area to the arm of the user, nevertheless a sufficient extensibility for comfortable putting on the glove is ensured.

Based on this prior art, the present invention seeks to provide an easily reversible protective glove, which meets the desired safety requirements.
This object is achieved by a protective glove having the features specified in claim 1.
The protective glove has for the passage of the closing strap on the respective outer side a plurality of spaced-apart passage openings, so that even in the region of these passage openings a sufficient puncture protection is provided. These passage openings are preferably provided in the region of a receiving channel or in the region of loops, so that they come to rest radially on the inside or on the outside of the receiving channel. The closure band can thus be guided alternately outwards through the openings, at the same time ensuring that the bottom of the respective opening is still covered by metal ring mesh. This makes it almost impossible to get through the slots with a knife or stickleback to the body of the wearer.
Preferably, a fully closed end edge on the glove is thus possible, which is desirable for safety reasons. Nevertheless, due to the offset passage openings, a stretchability for putting on the protective glove can be achieved despite a complete closure, so that a visually and safety-optimized termination area results in the transition to the user's arm.
Further advantages emerge from the subclaims and the following description.

Before describing the invention in detail, it should be understood that it is not limited to the particular parts of the protective glove and the respective method steps, as these parts and methods may vary. The terms used herein are intended only to describe particular embodiments and are not intended to be limiting. Furthermore, if in the specification or claims the singular or indefinite articles are used This also applies to the majority of these elements, unless the overall context clearly makes something else clear.
The present protective gloves are formed without a slot, but may also have a slot. An embodiment without a slot has the advantage that no additional precautions must be taken to prevent passage of a knife or a stick in the region of the slot.
