Abstract

The invention is concerned with the utilization of fiber plants. It relates to a method for producing a gluable material for the board industry from fiber plants. The fiber plants are cut to a length of 2-30 cm, worked up to partially dissolve fibers and woody parts from each other, and dried so that the material formed comprises stem pieces containing fibers and woody portions of the fiber plants, with fibers and woody portions remain essentially in their natural bond. Furthermore, it relates to a method for producing an intrinsically stable material plate from fiber plants and a material plate produced by this method. Finally, a use of the material will be described.
